Sun Liao watches the battle unfold striking down soldier after soldier, swinging his spear with skill and deadly efficiency. All the while Sun fought closer and closer to Guo Si's position when he saw the general scream out in vain and flee from the battle field. Sun turns to the south and sees his twin swordsmen hit the enemies other flank, this is enough.
"Soldiers of Guo Si, where is this man that you fight for? Where is this man that you so valiantly lay your life down for in vain? He has fled and left you to your bloody fates. Lay down your weapons and you all will be spared and pardoned on my recommendation. Lay down your weapons now and you will all be spared! If not then I will have no choice but to rout you to get to my target, but I would prefer not slaying men of such valor needlessly, you have all fought valiantly, but this is a fight you cannot win."
Sun stands at the ready, watching as Zhang Ce rounds the cavalry and prepares to charge the rear of the mace men.
-Sun attempts to end this skirmish without more bloodshed - Zhang Ce readies the cavalry to charge the rear of the Mace Unit.

The Beast Was Cooler Anyway.Zhang Ren and Qu Yi's combined troops, as well as that of a few other officers, had already begun to make the enemy lines retreat. Ren had begun to hear in bits and pieces of a few other allies arriving with timely reinforcements. Apparently the allies weren't as great of generals as Ren thought, but they still were pretty damn good to have not lost any generals yet."Alright folks, let's push through and get 'em from behind. I want as few of the Imperial troops to make it back to Dong Zhou as possible." Ren and his men began to push their way through harder, with the bowmen beginning to enter the center of the formation more, and the formation its self taking on more of a circle, than an arrow now.
Qu Yi remained stuck in the centre of his swordsmen, as Ren fought at the frontlines with his axemen.************** Liu Pi watched as the coward Niu Fu came to the realization that Pi had no intention of helping out. Then he noticed the foolhardy general break from combat and begin fleeing, as well as the allied troops chasing him down. He gave a few silent orders, and the ten remaining vets fanned out so as to apprehend him if he managed to get away from the allied generals.
Even with this aid he had given the allies, he had no intention of revealing himself completely yet. He may just be able to do more damage to the Zhou forces in the next battle.

In-Battle Post Her attack had been dodged. Ok, so all to be expected in a fight, correct? That only meant she needed to place more effort into her attack. The tri-bladed spear whipped over the Demon’s head, and Xifeng saw no reason to stop the movement. She blinked in mid-swing, allowing herself to collect herself in that moment. If she was going to be any help to the allies here, it was time for her to pull out all the stops.
Not to be saying she hadn’t been trying her hardest against the Enemy General already.
Her turn left her back to the fighting for only a moment, but in that moment, the woman had placed her hands at the end of the spear and about the halfway mark. She cupped the end of the spear in the palm of her hand and pushed upward, the weapon shrinking in size as it compacted from it’s large 6’5 to a smaller version, about four feet and some change. [4’?] After all, a turn didn’t last that long, now did it? Anyway, the woman spun back around, dropping onto one knee in the sand and then slashing upward.
It was expected by now that Lu Bu had gauged the length of her weapon, and would act according to what he already knew. With this change, he could possibly overestimate what he needed to do to dodge… and that could possibly lead to an opening.
Meanwhile, The troops of The Beautiful Devil continued to fight it out with the enemies they had charged into, which were all but decimated now. The female Officer’s second oversaw this fighting, also getting into the spirit of things as another man fell underneath his lance.
“Hack through them boys! There’s nothing to stop us now!” He called cheerfully, and the men around him roared in agreement. Xifeng uses the oddity of her weapon to try and confuse Lu Bu! Her men continued to fight under the leadership of an unimportant NPC!

As Zhou Tai watched Wei Yan and others attack Lu Bu, be began to fall back. This was slightly... this whole situation felt wrong to Zhou Tai. There were to many fighting only one. True, Lu Bu was the strongest man alive but that was still no excuse for a 5 versus one match, or whatever the odds were right now. As he fell back, he motioned for Zei Fang to follow. Zei Fang looked puzzled, but followed his master's orders. Zhou Tai, upon seeing that Zei Fang has obeyed him, sprinted off towards his twin swords. Zei Fang finally caught up to him, and asked Zhou Tai a single question.
"Why?"
Zhou Tai spoke as he drew his sword. "What I wanted was a duel, and what it would have amounted to was a slaughtering of Lu Bu. There is no honor in fighting someone when it is not just you and him. No honor whatsoever. Now, we will get true honor, and more respect than you could possibly fathom. We will rage on the battlefield, where the odds are against us." he said as he rushed towards the center, where his troops were. He knew not who was around him, for there was to much blood, gore, noise, and weapons clashing around him for him to see anything. All he needed to see was armor, because he would destroy anyone not wearing Han colors.
"Twinswords! You have proven yourself to be death on the battlefiels. But now, prove yourself to be a massacre!" he roared loud enough for his twinswords to hear, althoguh they were spread out on the battlefield cutting everything down.
*Zhou Tai has decided defeating Lu Bu at the present time would give him no honor! Zhou Tai and Zei Fang have fallen back and are now pwning n00bish militiamen![/i]

"Yan!" Lu Rai's voice was almost deathly faint. The warrior had an overwhelming hero-complex, he always had to save people. A shield was brought around along with most the weight of Lu Rai and the connection with the halbred haft did the the exact thing it was meant to do, it sent Rai reeling. No man could have withstood the might of Lu Bu, most mountains would have crumpled, Lu Rai had dared the impossible and it had cost him his chance at glory. Wei Yan was safe, but Lu Rai was almost ten feet away, prone, and his arm was burning with vibrating pain from the shield block.
Wei Yan himself on the other hand, had a spike of adrenaline that he'd never felt before. Clarity entered into his mind, his biceps bled from muscle expansion, and the shout that left his lips could only be that of revenge. His weapon was sent sailing due to Lu Bu's unmatchable strength, but the mobile Wei Yan spun with the launch of his weapon, still staying low and taking an uncanny note of the position of the female warrior as not to hit her. Within his spin he had withdrawn his battle axe and brought it clean around towards the monsterous Lu Bu's back side, aiming right for the middle.
Wei Yan was possessed with adrenaline, Lu Rai was overwhelmed with awe. Lu Bu was truly the work of gods on the battlefield, and Rai knew two things were to come of this battle. Unending glory for the challengers, or a place in the history books for being a foolish victim.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wei Yan hits super sayian level 4 has a painful spike of power and makes to help this women slay Lu Bu.
Lu Rai, unable to act right now. Taking a "Oh Shit That Hurt" break.
Zhang He laughed and turned to walk away.
"Perhaps once this is over. That would be beautiful." He called over his shoulder before breaking into a run. Junyi was in excellent physical condition, even by the standards of men who consider themselves to be in excellent physical condition. He could run without fatigue for miles, and often ipted to do so instead of using a horse ("It's great for my glutes," he claimed). He was about to return to his own unit when he overheard a pair of soldiers wearing the colors of Niu Fu.
"Did you hear? They say Lord Niu Fu is running away!"
"Wait a sec, who's 'they?' Seems like an unreliable source to me..."
"No, seriously, they know what they're talking about. They've never lied to me before."
"Well, have you ever talked to 'them' before?"
"Um...no. But I heard they're really reliable..."
"Face it, they're a load of bull. I mean, if Niu Fu was to run away, don't you think we'd be the first to hear about it?"
"Hey guys, you'll never guess what I just saw! Niu Fu got off his horse and is trying to run away!"
"See I told you."
"What direction was he last seen?"
"Over by Liu Pi's unit, that way. Wait, who are you? You don't look like-"
The man was interrupted as Zhang He slashed him across the chest, then dispatched his two compatriots in a similar fashion.
"Thank you, gentlemen. I shall give my regards to your master personally." With that, he dashed off in the direction of Niu Fu's last-known whereabouts. From there it was easy to track the fleeing failure; the mass of footprints was a solid hint, as was the single man fleeing from a group of other men. Breaking into a sprint, Junyi quickly caught up to the crowd and made another prodigious leap, aiming to land directly on Niu Fu himself. He twirled gracefully through the air, hurtling down toward Niu Fu like a frilly purple missile.
- Zhang He is moving to pursue and catch Niu Fu! He's killed three nameless soldiers and is currently bending the laws of physics once again in an effort to catch the elusive general.
- I wonder if Gryffin even takes gravity and wind resistance into account when he makes these posts.
*In-Battle Post* There it was, the loud ringing of the first connection on a worthy warrior. The metal plated tip of his halberd’s shaft smashed into Lu Rai’s shield, though Lu Bu had much hoped it would be through the skull of the more ambitious Wei Yan. Nevertheless, his target was temporarily removed from battle, tending to his shaken nerves. Now would be a perfect time to capitalise for Zhuo’s general, to strike down Lu Rai while he was reeling. First however, the main fight would still rage on.. Now the warrior had an opponent in front of him, and an opponent behind him - a situation he never admired, not even with his incredible strength. Xifeng Yue’s weapon was indeed confusing and baffling to him, and perhaps too dangerous to approach for now. So Bu took a mighty leap of faith. In the same motion as smacking Lu Rai’s shield with the butt of his halberd, the blade of the glorious weapon had find itself on Lu Bu’s left side, hooking around near his back, close to Wei Yan’s position. The warrior followed through with this fluidity , and crossed the entire weapon across his back diagonally, acting as a shield against Yan’s daring strike. Bu then sped backwards, knowing this his large armour and powerful weapon would be enough to defend against his opponents attack. In his movement backwards, he slammed against the slash, and rushed past Wei Yan, ever moving away from Xifeng Yue. As soon as he became out of range of the two, he swiftly twisted his feet into the ground below, and spun around, breaking into a sprint away from his challengers and the small arena. His booming voice bellowed out a simple name as Zhuo’s finest general sprinted towards his troops. “RED HARE!!” In the distance, it was as if a fiery thunderbolt shot across the battlefield, speeding its way towards Lu Bu. Both master and stallion met in their haste, and quickly Bu mounted up, and sped off to his troops, letting out another mighty roar. “Another time, you dogs!” Stampeding footsteps rumbled the ground below, as the remainder of Lu Bu’s ambushed elite cavalry began to speed away from the shore. Some 200 troops survived, many falling pray to Yuan Shao’s effective, if drunken assault. Already the warrior had escaped, but his retreat was for a greater cause - the final push against the Allied assault. *Lu Bu has retreated back to Zhuo’s main camp!*(Yeah sorry for the quick exit, needed a way to get him back for the main battle, good job though guys!)
In-Battle Post The green-clad woman rose from the ground, watching the retreat of the demon General with an impassive face. Well, that went better than expected, seriously... Just what had she been thinking, trying a stunt like that? A grim smile crossed the woman's face as she pulled her weapon back out to it's full length, chuckling softly to herself. "
I won't be forgetting that anytime soon." She muttered, half to herself.
Xifeng stole a glance at the other two warriors who had fought with her, offering nothing else to them. The battle still continued, and people were needed to fight it. The Female Officer turned and whistled for her horse, which soon came galloping into view. She spared no time in moving to reinforce her troops, calling them to her to lead a charge to finish off their enemy and send them crying back to their General. Xifeng returns to her men! They finish off the enemy group they had been dealing with!
Wei Yan rose, his battle axe had caught all of the blunt of the attack and his arms were shaking from the pain in them. After retrieving his weapon and making sure Lu Rai was of good health, Yan moved over towards the women.
"Quite a warrior, wouldn't you say, Yan?" asked Lu Rai as he popped his shoulder and unstrapped his shield. "Yes, she's very good at what she does. Looks like we will just have to be better." joked Wei Yan as he made his way back to his men who had quickly dispatched their enemies.
"Make ready, I smell swine in the air, Rai."
"Then let's roast 'em."
Cowardice?!"
"My lord, he is Lu bu... far more worthy than any man... or woman."
"Nonsense, we are all but men, and from his actions, surely he is a dog at best. Haha, see how his mater fetches him so...?"
"My lord you are true."
"Evident only by my recent actions. Come, off to the center, I want Zhuo's head myself.. and if I know it, lord Zhang He will be there if he is alive."
In-Battle Post [/center] Zhang He crashed down upon Niu Fu, knocking the fleeing man to the ground. As he held his captive’s arms behind his back, he turned his head to the surprised men who had been pursuing Niu Fu. “Well, hello there. I appear to have found myself a prize,” he said, throwing them a charming smile, “If you gentlemen would be so kind, I need to return to my unit. Could you please bind this man and deliver him to your commander as a gift for the Grand marshal from the both of us? I would be eternally grateful.” The men nodded a confused assent, then bound Niu Fu and took him off to Lu Zhi while Zhang He skipped back to his men, content with the prize he won for himself today. - Zhang He and Lu Zhi’s men have captured Niu Fu!
- Unfortunately, Niu Fu’s sandwich proved more elusive. Junyi is sending out a scouting party to locate and subdue the fearsome beast.
YEAH! NIU FU IS SCREWED!
Liu Pi just watched as his former commander got apprehended by ZHang He. Liu Pi signaled his men to fall back, as he witnessed most of the rest of the Imperial army retreating. His men made a slow retreat at first, giving an impression of dangerousness hoping they wouldn't get attacked, then they beat a hasty retreat back to Imperial lines.
