In-Battle Post The Woman just smiled, though it wasn't a 'let's be friends' kind of smile. Oh no, this was the 'brazen show of defiance' kind of smile, possibly mixed in with a little bit of 'Let's see how much you can bleed from a stab wound' type. Needless to say, she wasn't backing down. "Oh no," the woman replied in a mockingly sincere manner, "I wouldn't want to take your job." Yes, Xifeng had just flat out insulted the man, and yes, she knew better than to expect him to stand there and take it. she had been lucky she hadn't been attacked the moment she had jumped in.
But there was something to be said about the woman who refused to back down. Looking out at the edge of her vision, Yue took a quick glance at the wounded Lieutenant. 'Now's your chance.' She seem to be saying, but didn't bother to spend words on that. she was dealing with dangerous forces and would treat Lu Bu as such.
Didn't mean she wouldn't fight him, though.
Even though the man man stomped and roared, she refused to move, either from out in front of Qu Yi or out of her ready position. Demon's Claw had all three blades currently pointing at the ground, the shaft of the spear diagonal to her body. The entire weapon was bigger than her, but that was indeed no detriment; on the contrary, it had quite an advantage none had yet to see. maybe this would be the time and place for it to be shown.
"Haha, Time... You time is limited indeed, Lu Bu!" Xifeng stands her ground!

Hell, everywhere Gongwei looked, he saw a burning, terrible hell; one that engulfed all on the shore. Again, the enemy chose to employ fire against the coalition, an effective tactic indeed, but one that Zhu Jun was more than tired of by this point. "Apparently Grand Master Dong and his staff seem to lack creativity in planning...and we seem to lack worth in ours....", spoke Gongwei, mostly to himself. He knew that following He Jin was potentially a bad idea, but he did not know that it would turn into such a disaster, and a disaster it most certainly was. Jun hoped that his comrade Huangfu Yizhen would be able to hold things together in the center, as He Jin obviously was incapable of doing such a thing.
As all of his disappointments floated about in his mind, Zhu Jun wondered if the battle could be turned around. It seemed as though the deplorable state that the allies were in was irreversible, especially with the lack of strong central leadership. Hence why Gongwei chose to move on his own accord. It seemed others had his idea as well, and they also seemed to have suffered greatly for it. It was up to one of the last great Han generals to bring deliverance to those in peril before him.
"Men, prepare to land! We will destroy the enemy's flank, and bring ruin to their morale!" The boats sped across the river and then landed roughly upon the shoreline that was ablaze. One thousand men rushed forth to assist their nearly broken allies. This battle would be desperate for Gongwei and his men, but they were fresh and untested in battle this day, so they in better shape than the rest of the army. Zhuo's men would have a challenge on their hands. Gongwei unsheathed his sword and rode forth into the fray.
Gongwei and his men have landed on the enemy shore, and now move to devastate the enemy's right flank.

The enemy stayed oblivious to Gongsun Zan's charging, Zan himself not hearing his ally Zhang Jiao as he was drowned out by the din of battle. Horses beighed as arrows flew towards the allies.
However, the Dong units must not have expected to have anyone on their flank, and with a glorious charge, Zan's units caught the sunlight to their backs, the day waning, their left flank exposed.
The horses would cut through man and and machine alike, killing hordes of Dong soldiers, and a catapult to boot, as they were caught completely unaware. If Jiao was smart enough, he'd flood his men into the opening created by Zan's charging cavalry, and hopefully destroy the enemy in their attack.

The enemy soldier count started gradually decreasing, as Meng and his troops fought effortlessly, on his ship. Running threw the futile soldiers and haking and slashing, Meng having killed so many men in the melee, quickly turned to see a man started slashing and slicing the peons. Meng was amazed to see An Bo have such amazing talent in killing, perhpas it was luck to allow An Bo to board the ship, perhpas An Bo can sure of his talents more when he land on the enemy shoreline, it would only take a matter of minutes now before all the troops where killed and the soldiers could get some sort of rest before more fighting. The soldiers that was Meng's control that had assist An Bo in fighting, Meng had no problem with it obviuosly since, where all fighting the same enemy, but it seems like those 5 soldiers where doing a hell of a job for An Bo.
The captin was able to steer clear pass all of the ships and up closer to where all the allies troops where station at, Meng stood tall towards the front of the ship to try and see what was going on, devasting thing it was, fire arrows, and giant boulders came crashing and piercing down the fellow allows, many where dying and it seemed many men where losing hope, hopfully if this is Meng's last battle he'll sure make it a good one at that. Seeing how all of the generals where bunch in with He Jin's ship that was right in the center, Meng thought he would make his way Northwest to attempted and try and cut down the flanks of Dong Zhou's men, though he knew it would be very difficult to do so.
Now finally on shore towards the west, Meng got his troops ready for battlen as they sped off the boat, with heads held high and the heart beating with much enthusiasim, by the way the soldeirs where acting you would think they where already winning the battle to begin with.
Meng's troops 50 Ruffian Swordsmen 50 Ruffian Bowmen 40 Veteran Swordsmen 20 Veteran Bowmen 15 Veteran Spearmen
-Archers get get off first and fire and the enemy - Swordsmen follow with along with Spearmen, moving towards the left

*In-Battle Post* Lu Bu quirked an eyebrow in all manner of expressions. The insult thrown at him was malicious, and thought out, none relenting. This woman had called out his name - she knew whom she was standing in the way of. And yet, she did not move. She did not let show a single shiver of fear. This woman was either incredibly brave and stalwart - or just completely ignorant. A devilish smirk crossed Lu Bu’s lips as he snorted at Xifeng’s words; the warrior titled his head back only slightly to take in what he was witnessing here. Many men would dare not look him in the eye. But now, a petit young female, carrying a weapon bigger than herself, seemed to think she alone could take on the mighty general. Lu Bu could only oblige her.. “Interesting weapon you got there.. I’ll have to try it our for myself after I peel it from your cold, dead hands!” Letting out his signature roar, Lu Bu let the blade of his halberd fall to the floor slightly, before sweeping the entire weapon up in a diagonal slash. The sharp, flawless tip of his instrument dragged a line into the ground beneath, scoring it with brute force. The direction of the attack came up from Xifeng’s left hip to her right shoulder. It had little meaning to it - Lu Bu was not primed to pounce forward and follow through with the attack; again the warrior kept his range; it seemed this early sweep was to ward off his enemy, or to perhaps test her mettle. Regardless, Lu Bu would continue with his assault on the Allied forces, personally hacking down their warriors.

A look of worry flew across the face of Xing Cai. Her father was wounded, in a vital body part as well. Still, it was the greatest feeling of all to see her father alive and doing what he does best, ripping apart armies of men. "Look out!" Yelling just as she reached her father, she sped past him, shield out, ramming a Zhuo forces soldier. The soldier forcefully fell backwards, dropping his blade. He was shocked, how did that happen? Xing Cai turned back to her father, but with a determined and mature face. "I can't let you fight out here by yourself. I want to help!" Gao Jin, removing a body from the tip of his trident added his own small remark into the conversation. "Trust me, I tried to stop her." Xing smiled and quickly brought her weapon up into a offensive stance...The soldiers were coming. "Don't worry about me father! I can handle this easy!" Cai smiled with a fierce spirit before she prepared to charge into the enemy ranks...along with Gao Jin and Zhang Fei.
Summary
- Xing Cai has rendezvoused with her father on the battlefield. - Xing Cai, Gao Jin and Zhang Fei all look prepared to charge into the enemy ranks, straight for Guo Si and Niu Fu! - Against impossible odds, the bowmen of Xing Cai have not suffered any casualties due to their intelligent placement and firing coordinations

In-Battle Post The Beautiful Devil said nothing for a long moment, only meeting Lu Bu's piercing gaze with her own. Golden eyes burned like the Sun, fierce and determined as well. Though a woman she might been, seeming small and frail, she was on this battlefield to fight; had brought men who followed her every order to the T to fight with her in this war. And though the other man snort and look down at Yue with disdain, she still stood up to him, stood up against what she believed was wrong and fought.
Someone had too, after all.
She was ready for his attack, it wasn't like he was coming at her with the swift and silent kill. Xifeng's hands were both placed on Either side of the middle of the spear, and she moved quickly to counter Lu Bu's attack. It wasn't, after all, like she had just picked up the weapon and wandered into the battlefield. Her left hand slid down the pole until it was about six inches from the three blades, which each jutted out Left, Right, and Up respectively. Her other hand pulled the rest of the spear higher up so that she could meet the man's attacks, and then at the last moment, turned the weapon just ever so slightly.
If she had done it right, The Demon's Claw would of glanced the attack off the foremost blades side, then slid into the nook where the other blade met with it. Then her own strength was put to the test by forcing the halberd away from her body and once again down toward the ground.
This was all done in a way that made it look effortless, the only thing betraying Xifeng being that her heel dug into the sand to keep from being overwhelmed upon first impact. It was then she smirked, eyes flashing away from the triple blades to her opponent as she spoke.
"I doubt that."

In-Battle Post [/center] As Qu Yi pulled himself to his feet, he fully expected to be gutted where he stood. However, once again it appeared the heavens had a different plan in store for him. As Xifeng and Lu BU exchanged words, he quietly made his way toward where his swords had landed. He realized that he was no match for Lu Bu in his current condition, but he felt safer having the blades in his hands. Once he had retrieved his weapons, he finally looked at his savior and almost dropped them again. A woman? He had just been rescued from certain death at the hand of the greatest warrior in the land by a woman? Now he didn't know what shamed him more, the decisiveness of his defeat or the gender of his savior. He winced again, this time not from pain but from witnessing the two warriors (if he could grant this newcomer that title) clash. He felt further ashamed to see the woman shrug off the same impact that had sent Qu crashing to the ground. He was about to intervene when a soldier exited the press and approached him. "Sir, Commander Junyi demands that you withdraw. You are being reckless." Admonished the footsoldier Zhang He had sent to follow Xifeng. "Withdraw? You gotta be kidding me," answered Qu Yi through gritted teeth, "I was just about to get the better of him. Besides, she's gonna get hurt out there." "The commander told me to make sure that neither of you come to harm. If you leave, that's one less person I have to worry about. Now withdraw, Lieutenant." Qu Yi was about to make a retort, but he realized the futility of his position. He couldn't do any more good here. However, he knew someone who could. "Just try to stay alive." He grumbled as he made his way slowly through the press towatd Zhang He. The foot soldier readied his sword and shield, then waited for an opening.

IN-BATTLE POST
*For the mere soldier, death was becoming a welcome escape from the hell they were being forced to endure between the rampaging wild-men swinging large hammers, the swarm of twin swordsmen, and the finesse maneuvers of Sun Yuan Ci and his lancers, who pounced across the western battlefield with ease, claiming the lives of many soldiers with each passing. Now, Sun Yuan Ci was dismounted, at the commander’s aid. He Jin was wounded, but Yuan Ci had no idea how or what was being done to aid him, he was simply keeping the enemy at bay by forming a wall by his self, slashing at any soldier of Dong Zhuo’s who attempted to pass him.*
*Curiosity kicked in. He looked off to the east. He could faintly see the regiment of cavalry that Lu Bu brought to the battle, over the flurry of arrows and rising smoke across the horizon. He tilted his head, deep in thought. Of course, with Lu Bu’s arrival, the eastern flank would be in fear, and would require assistance. The west flank was crumbling with Zhiyun’s arrival, shifting the balance of the fight, but Lu Bu coming so soon after completely washed away any hope they had. Alas, Zhiyun made his decision. He called for his horse, mounting it in a hurry and speeding off to the east. Somewhere in this battlefield sat Lu Bu atop his crimson steed, and wherever he was, he was now being hunted. Zhiyun would find him, and see for himself if the legends of his might were true.
((Bah, no mood to post tonight, just getting this outta the way))

Murmurs went through the Infantry line of his men, Ji-Huang Liang emerged from the shield wall, safe from harm, before he slowly stood, looking to his horsemen only in time to see Lu Bu tear through their entire rank. Gasps could be heard as his men also turned in time to see the damage done. "Quiet!"
His voice rang out on his ship, almost instantly quieting his men. He put his hands on his hips, sighing. "...Dammit. Archers, fire off another volley, aim for the unarmored targets on the eastern flank. Swordsmen, move out onto the shore, move to aid Xiahou Dun."
His men moved out, shakily as they watched what was left of the horsemen obediently follow Xiahou Dun's attack, rushing to aid Xiahou Dun at the catapaults.

~In-Battle Post~ Wei Yan had finally made distance on Lu Bu, and was honestly just more annoyed that he had not been given heed. The worse of it all though, Lu Rai had gained even more ground and was riding infront of Yan. "Damn you, Rai! Back to the men!" commanded Wei Yan as he brought around his spear. "With all respect, you'll die on your own, Yan" answered Rai with a sense of clarity and determination. Having not been assaulted yet, Yan's men broke into a jog to gain ground with their general faster. Their morale was still battered, but it was getting better. A few of them even dared their own warcries here and there. Finally, sight of Lu Bu changed all that. "Gods! Lu Bu has come! He'll stop at nothing to slay He Jin? Who are we to stop him?" asked a spearman as the remaining five twin axes just snarled a bit. They were the oldest and bravest of the veterans, main reason they were so few in number. "We have orders! You are to act them out! Now continue to jog!" answered one of the twin axes as he forced the remaining troops to hold rank. Thankfully Wei Yan and Lu Rai were rubbing off on someone. As the two riding generals finally got within range, Wei Yan let out another blood curdling roar. His adrenaline had been renewed by this new chance at glory. Lu Rai on the other hand, was deadly silent. Lu Rai slowed his pace to match Wei Yan's as the two drew closer. Finally, both came to a screeching halt and dismounted, promptly sending their horses back into the enemy ranks. Wei Yan was the first to step up, Lu Rai wasn't half a step behind. "You there! Beast of men! Stop toying with women and face a true warrior!" dared Wei Yan as he twirled his spear before stopping in a ready stance. "Better yet, warrior of warriors! Test your mettle with a real challenge. Take a dance with both of us! Since you so easily destoryed the ones before us!" mocked Lu Rai, hoping to incite Lu Bu into action. Honestly, neither man gave the women a second glance. She was there, she had a weapon. She didn't matter. This man, this mountain before them was all their eyes could see. Not one bit of fear sparked in their eyes, only anticipation. It was almost unnerving how unmoved Lu Rai looked when standing by the raging Wei Yan. Adrenaline has that affect on some people. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Three Warriors Face Off!

********************* Guo Si clenched his right fist in anger as Sun Yuan Ci and his ally, Sun Liao, had arrived to his east. He still held the defensive line with barricades offering continued support for the ranged units. However, on each flank, where the swords and catapults were, there was carnage which he was not expecting. "I thought Li Ru had the left flank covered" Si stated to one of his captains. "The trap was effective, sir, but it seems the enemy is resilient. As soon as Dun got wtfpwned by Lu Bu, an ally came up to offer aid. The two are now attacking our catapult on the western flank."Guo Si was pissed and pulled forth his sword. Moving forward, toward his ranged units, the general ordered multiple volleys to be launched. To the allied east, where the massive duel was taking place, arrows poured down yet again from 100 ranged soldiers upon Norion, Zhang He, Xifeng Yue, and Wei Yan! If Lu Bu was hit by an arrow, or any of his men, Si would probably get his head shoved up his own ass! Therefore, he ordered the men to be as precise as possible or face lashings. In the center, Zhang Ren, Sun Yuan Ci, Xing Cai, Zhang Fei, and Lu Zhi come under attack by a hail of projectiles from behind the barricades. 200 archers were letting loose and feeling energized after taking down the enemy Commander with an arrow! The soldier who took the deadly shot would be too hard to discern, but if it could be that man would have many a drink bought for him after the victory! A small commotion was heard to the north and Guo Si turned see his comrade, Niu Fu, approaching with fresh reinforcements. In total, 800 men had arrived to offer support against the allies who gere gaining ground. Still, the volleys continued to fly and many arrows were left stuck in the ground near their master's for their next attack. After each missile fired, the archers would quikly grab another from in front of them instead of having a quiver. Many more allies would meet their fate by their steely long range death objects of destruction and chaos. "Guo Si, this is Liu Pi and he is a man of great skill in battle!" Fu said, saluting to Guo Si who outranked him. Hell, a space monkey outranked him. Now that he thought about it, Fu had never seen his comrade in battle. He was so full of bullshit, most of the time, it just flowed from his mouth like the waters of the Chang Jiang. "Take your men and move to aid the center, it is faultering."Niu Fu nodded and then elbowed Liu Pi to tell him it was time to move. If Pi wished to become a general, under Dong Zhuo, he would have to kill an allied officer! Both Niu Fu and Liu Pi moved south with 300 Militia Mace and Shield to engage Lu Zhi and Lu Meng. 100 Militia Mace and Shield, with 100 Militia Archer behind them, appeared on each flank of the army and started to attack Sun Yuan Ci's soldiers as well as Sun Liao, Xiahou Dun, Huang Liang, and Gongsun Zan who had entered the fray. All said officers had soldiers fighting on the wings, trying to break the rebel defensive line, by attacking their weak spot. Still, even if Guo Si's archers had no more ammunition they would attack with small daggers. Either that, or start to choke people with their bare hands! Oh yeah. The presence of Gongsun Zan and Sun Liao to the rebel east, allied west, was beginning to bother Guo Si. He ordered 50 archers off of a barricade to follow him. The soldiers would meet up with their breathren who were just sent there by Niu Fu. Xiahou Dun and Huang Liang take control of an enemy catapult! Multiple volleys are launched, sending another message loud and clear that the allies were not welcome! Guo Si moves to engage the enemy as does Niu Fu the Diabolical! The defenders numbers are wearing thin, but with Lu Bu's small army they still have a chance! As the allied officers were slain, one by one, their morale would eventually drop to the routing point. At least, that was the plan.Troops: Guo Si275 Militia Swords with Shields 220 Militia Medium Spears 400 Militia Archers 2 Catapults Niu Fu500 Militia Mace and Shield 300 Militia Archers

Epic Fights EVerywhere...Zhang Ren and his men took cover behind the axemen's shields. Arrows rained form the sky like locusts on a crop. Some of Zhang's men went down but most were prepared for it. Zhang and his men quickly stood up again, and moved to follow Zhang He's female ally. They raced along the watery shore line, chasing after Zhang He as well.
The forty or so veterans still remaining looked on in awe at the mighty Lu Bu, who made short work of Qu Yi. Just as Ren figured Zhang He's second was doomed, a female general, the same one that was with He, stepped forward. With relentless courage she faced the God of War. Lu BU made one tiny strike, and she held firm.
Yet, another warrior stepped forward, Wei Yan, a warrior at best. Though no general in Ren's mind. As well as Yan's companion, someone Ren didn't know, stepped into the fray. All in all it seemed as though Lu Bu, as mighty a warrior he may be, had his work cut out for him.
Nevertheless, such a man could not be let go easy. So Zhang, running forth, knocked an arrow and let it fly for Lu Bu's left leg. Ren yelled out an order to his battered men just before to begin charging the beach head, hoping to at least have his men do something useful in the fighting. The axemen charged up the beach, shields raised in front of them to ward off an any arrows, and the rest they left to chance to meet the enemy.
Zhang Ren, and the three other warriors, all stood their ground, ready to face the indomitable beast that was Lu Bu... The question now is; Is Lu Bu really that good?****************** Liu Pi, acting the bitch again, continued to follow Niu Fu wherever he went. The two men seemed like glue. A very retarded glue... Liu Pi himself was beginning to think he had taken up cause with the wrong man... He really shoulda waited until he had a better general to join up with.. But no... Dong Min had to die... And the flaming idiot had to end up lucky enough to live... The heavens truly had a wicked sense of humor..."General Guo Si. It is an honour to meet you." Liu Pi made an even better salute the Niu Fu. Maybe he could attach himself to this Guo Si... "My Generals, I have one request. My talents go to waste here. I ask that you give me a small contingent of men, maybe 50 or so, so that I may prove my worth on the battlefield by taking an allied officers head for your own." Liu Pi made a second bow and waited on the response he got...

*In-Battle Post* Lu Bu’s strike had been deflected by this woman and her intriguing weapon - she had strength in her, this was evident, but the mighty Zhuo general had not yet even begun to use his full power. He felt as if it were unfair to fight with such zeal against a woman, especially so young - yet he would not hesitate should his life be threatened. His colossal halberd found itself hugged back to the warriors chest, a sly grin priming his malice for the next strike. But then, the roars of two more generals filled the area. It was Wei Yan and Lu Rai! “Heh, finally, a real challenge!” Lu Bu stepped backwards slowly, taking these two warriors into his full view now, along with Xifeng Yue. His grip began to tighten around his instrument of death, his fingertips slowly coiling around the shaft like a serpent. 4 men had challenged him now, and 1 woman thought she could try her luck. Qu Yi, Zhou Tai, Wei Yan, Lu Rai, and Xifeng Yue - could these fabulous five take down the infamous strength of Lu Bu? The Zhuo general cackled in delight, bent his knees slightly, and stayed light-footed, staring down his enemy with a piercing gaze. He wanted them to come forward. “Time wasters! Attack me now, or run off back to your whore of a mother!!” Lu Bu kept his distance from his enemy - he knew not to be surrounded, he needed them all in front of him, under his shrewd watch. In a deft swing, his halberd sliced through the air in front of him, halting when the tip striked forward, staring into the eyes of these challengers. Your move.

A sound traveled through the air in a almost scary fashion. This sound was the one to be feared, the sound of bows being strung back. Xing Cai's eyes widened, she dived to the side, away from her father. She happened to have the frontal shelter of a barricade. Pulling her shield over her head, she knelt down to the very ground. The arrows pelted her shield and the ground all around her. It was almost as gut wrenching as the trench warfare and shelling of WWI. She squirmed under the shield, she was terrified. Her father always told her to keep her head up and never fear though. Ironically, if she lifted her head now, she would be impaled.
"Father! Keep pressing forward!"
Ironically, the daughter ordered the father into action. After the onslaught of arrows, Xing Cai charged forward into a group of about 4 sword and shieldsmen. Ramming two backwards, off their feet with her shield, she span clockwise, fork outstretched, catching the exposed rib of a soldier. The man buckled over with a yelp of pain as blood began to flow. Turning behind her, Xing Cai brought her shield above her head to block a vertical slice from a soldier. Ramming her deadly spear-like weapon forward, she impaled the man. The other two swordsmen had returned to their feet and had charged forward towards the exposed back of Xing Cai. However, both were simultaneously de-legged as a wide horizontal swipe came from the weapon of Gao Jin. Xing Cai smiled to the 'older brother'. He replied only with a nod. Together, they continued the press forward, just two individuals with the cover fire of 15 veteran archers.
Summary
- Xing Cai takes cover from the onslaught of arrows - Together, with the back up cover fire of the 15 veteran archers, she and Gao Jin heroically charge into the nearby group of soldiers. Fighting like true warriors
