As Qing walked into the city she sat down in a room waiting for Liu Bei, after all he wanted to show her around. Standing there she looked around the room her feet lightly hitting the ground. Now she was moving around and looking around her hands lightly hit somethings. Books, whatever there was her hands lightly hit it looking around she wasn't sure what to think. The room was really nice of course he was a ruler so most of the time where ever they lived tended to be on the fancy side.
Of course it wasn't all that bad as she stood there she looked out of the window at the outside which was the city. Smiling to herself slightly it looked amazing she thought to herself. The smile was quickly replaced with her usual facial expression of course, she didn't really smile around people. She did realize that Liu Bei wasn't in there at the moment but he could of walked in at any moment and saw her smiling. Putting her hand on the glass of the window lightly she continued to look outside.
Everything looked so peaceful outside of the window but somehow the fact that there was a war going on didn't seem to change it. During this time though they needed somewhere like this, somewhere unchanged by the horrible things going on. As she watched a few of the people she saw some women and children, then she thought about the loses. Women losing there husbands because they were fighting, children losing any of there parents because of war. Even though all of that was happening this city appeared to be that they believed that there had to be one place where there was hope left.

He had some affairs to attend to that morning but he also had one other thing he needed to do and that was to guide Xiaoli Qing a guest that he had met after the battle against Dong Zhou. After his morning briefing was done he got up and followed by two elites went to the window were there was a beautiful sun rise glowing over Shu. He had a urge to show this lady around while this sun was out and the people were slowly getting up for there morning errands.
He opened a door and there was a waiter with some water on a serving plate ready for him. He smiled at the man and took the water and continued to walk down the corridor to where he would meet this warrior whos father was a pirate but she seemed to also have a sense of justice with her. He opened the last door handle and walked to greet her seeing her smile was a good reason to get up this morning. As he was previously feeling unwell but today was something else he was happy to be around the people today.
‘’Miss Qing, what a pleasure to see you this morning I hope I didn’t keep you waiting to much I was in a meeting with fellow townspeople.’’
He hoped that his meeting with many of the village electives didn’t bother her to much as there was much to do today. He walked along with his cape following and took a swing of the water he had got from the nice waiter.

Hearing the handle she layed her hands on the window sill and turned around to see it was Liu Bei. Giving a small nod to him she looked at him as she stood there. After all she was there to see him you could say, he offered her a tour and curiosity sort of took over. She wanted to see what the city looked like, after all she really didn't go into cities that much. Even if she did it was just for one or two things and then they had to leave, she never really just went and saw a city.
"You don't have to call me Miss Qing" she said shaking her head "just call me Qing". Qing really didn't like to be called Miss after all she wasn't even that old to be getting called that. "Oh no it's fine, I was just in here for a little bit" after all she understood that he had a duty to his people. They needed him to keep everything in order so she didn't mind if he did a bit before meeting up with her. His city should always be his top priority, because if it wasn't then it wouldn't do so well.
Looking back to the window her dark gray eyes looked out to the city "it's really beautiful" she said looking over at him slightly. "I've never seen anything like this" putting her hand to the glass she remembered the small village she use to. Of course that was all gone now and her loyalty had to lie to her father for reasons she didn't like to discuss. This wasn't her choice of life, of course then she probably wouldn't of been the person she was at this time. Probably wouldn't of learned to fight either, she would of just been another person caught in the middle of the war.

He continued to smile he sipped some water down his throat. He walked her to the stairs and walked rather quickly and opened a door towards the market place of Cheng Du. He didn’t have a fancy place to hide himself from the townspeople but his main palace was constructed up the hill still in sight of his town. There were many people who stopped to bow at Liu Bei and he did vice versa towards them.
He did not see any difference between him and them, He took her to the local store and paid the merchant for some meat buns and offered one to Xiaoli as a gesture of a good friendship to come. There might be a chance later down the track that she could side with Shu or another kingdom but that wasn’t on his mind at the moment.
Facing her with his hand out with the bun ‘’Here you look as if you are hungry, you waited along time for me it is only right that I pay for some things for you.’’ He then reached in his pocket and got some gold coins out and gave them to the merchant for an extra tip. He liked to see the people happy and it was looking like this.
Stopped for a moment waiting her decision he did not see her in the battle against Dong Zhou but she was at the after party that’s were they met. It seemed that the sun will shine bright today.
Walking along after his short stop at the merchant who waved to him as they left there was many guards and soldiers of Cheng Du helping the people with chores and work. It was peak hour here and all gave way to him and his guest the lovely Xiaoli Qing.
After he took a bite out of the meat bun he turned to her ‘’this is what I would like China to be, people being happy and helping each other none of this chaos which would be bad for the people that were already caught in it.’’ Turning to the people around and smiling at them.
His cape 180ed around him when he spun around because an old lady had dropped her things he picked them up for her and nodded his head as she took off. He would await her response to where they would go?

As she walked with him she kept up with him making sure not to trip over the dress she was wearing. After all tripping down the stairs was not a part of the plan for her especially the fact that she had made it up those stairs at the banquet. Watching the people walk up to him and bow they gave her a glance as well they had no idea who she was. She felt slightly weird just walking around with him, not that she didn’t mind him or anything it was just she didn’t exactly ever do this. She had always had tasks to do, people to talk to never was there time for her just to talk to someone also the fact that she was alone.
Looking at him she took the bun and nodded “thank you but you really don’t have to buy me anything” she said shaking her head. Taking off pieces of it she ate some of it as she watched him give the man an extra tip. The man gave a small smile to her and she of course would feel bad if she didn’t return it so of course she did. Watching guards and soldiers help the people she smiled to herself, they all worked together. Of course just about the only way you could probably really get a kingdom up and running was to have team work.
“There are few places that looked like there turning out like that” she said looking at him, “I have to say…you’re doing a good job at turning Cheng Du into one”. Small pieces of her dark hair fell in her face and she reached up gently and moved it behind her ear. “So” she said looking up at the sky “where would Lord Liu Bei like to take me” she said with a small smirk. Resting a hand on her hip she stood there waiting to see where he would take her, after all she had no idea where she was going. She had never been to this city before, which sort of made her glad because if her father would of sent her it would have been for any good reason.

He couldn’t help but smile at the young lady she seemed so pleasant here in Shu, this tour had just started and it seemed she liked how Cheng Du is being run. If she didn’t know Han Zhong was also being run like this, He pulled his index finger as it felt a little numb from a cold air had just passed through. He wasn’t sure where to go he had never really lead a tour before let alone be a tour guide.
There were hot spots on were to be in Cheng Du but he wasn’t sure of were they all were. ‘’Well there is a Hot Springs over there and a cold waterfall over there. Markets behind us, a parade that’s about to start and farms just outside the city so its your choice.’’ He smiled as he finally finished most of the hot spots around Cheng Du that were within walking distance.
Walking to look at the sign that showed where everything was. He looked at it very closely seeing if he missed anything, he raised his hand with whatever was left of his meat bun and put it in his mouth as it wasn’t much and it was all gone. But he needed water now as he was very healthy person.
He put his hand up to her and raised one finger indicating that he wouldn’t be long as he strolled over to a nearby shop and asked for some water. As he was paying for it he gave another extra big tip and walked back to her awaiting her decision.

Looking around Qing's eyes took in all of the surrounding area as she stood there. This was a lot for her to take in as she stood there after all it was a fairly big city. Lacing her fingers together she watched some of the women, men and children. Some of the children went running by her and she dodged them, one of them gave her a smile as they ran by. She found it interesting that so many people could live amongst each other and not fight all that much, even the children didn't seem to be picking on each other.
As she stood there she tapped her chin slightly thinking of where they should go. He had pointed out some places to go and she just wasn't entirely sure where she wanted to go, after all a lot of them sounded like fun. As he went to go get water she stood there thinking to herself for a while. Her eyes focused in on where she wanted to go, she had made up her mind. "How about...the hot springs" she said looking at him as she stood there looking at him.

He smiled as she decided were to go, of course he wouldn’t join in the hot springs she might want to have some fun it there have a nice relaxing hour or so in the Hot Springs. Liu Bei gladly started walking her over towards the way of the hot springs, he seemed glad enough though with one thing on his mind it did start to bother him only a little.
Walking with her seemed so natural to him it was unusual though he did get along with all in his life. It was easy enough as he didn’t have a wife or concubines he actually didn’t see the use of them. He would eventually find the one for him but he was on tour.
After all the walking through the forest walkways filled with trees, plants, exotic aromas & other god smelling items. They had reached the hot springs and it was separated between sexes as there might be some trouble if there wasn’t a wall blocking the two separate hot springs. He smiled and bowed and pointed the way if she needed a relaxation treatment.
The people in this area were all experts in their field they did pedicures, manicures, haircuts you name it. They would pretty much do it, he said without looking ‘’If you would like to be my guest, I do not mind waiting I have some things to attend to.My assistant Li Qian will provide you with anything you need’’

Walking next to him she laced her fingers together as she continued to keep up with him as they walked. Pursing her lips together she looked over at him, he seemed deep in his thoughts. As she looked up at the sun she noticed that it was now peaking out fully and she smiled slightly. The sun was something she enjoyed to see, if the sun wasn't out everything seemed so dark and sad. Qing was not sure how she felt about being married, after all the guy she got married to would probably be her fathers choice.
After all his thoughts on the marriage thing was to the highest bidder he would give his daughter. Of course she wasn't sure that he really wanted her to be given to just anyone, he wanted someone of power and wealth. They also had to be willing to help him out slightly, anyone like that she really didn't want to be with. Once again, it wasn't exactly her choice her father had mentioned marrying her off quiet a few times sense she had turned eighteen. Most girl were probably already married off but no one met her fathers standards at the time, plus he needed someone who was willing to let his ship after he died to stay alive.
Looking around at all the plants and trees she couldn't help but feel slightly happy, she liked it out here it didn't feel like some places. Some just felt dead, this one was springing with plants and flowers it had life to it. Taking in the smells she smiled to herself, it was quiet pleasant here she had to admit. As they stopped her feet came to a stop, as she didn't want to run into him or anything, after all that would be a little rude. Hearing him say that he had somethings to attend to she nodded slightly "okay, and thank you for all of this but you really didn't need to".

Seeming pleased, he didn’t have to get to his errands as of yet if she didn’t want to go into the hot springs. Liu Bei smiled she was his guest and she would get anything that she wanted or needed within reason. The sun was not out and it seems that a little overcast was coming along to the area of Cheng Du this should be great for the farmers in the land.
Another thought enter his mind, but it was a continuous thought that had been with him for a long time. Could she be the one? But he had heard stories of her father being a pirate most likely he would choose her husband. But with his death would come the responsibility of his ships and the well being of them and their crew.
She seemed very happy in Cheng Du the plant life and aromas around this place brought forth a good smell, it wasn’t a bad smell either he actually didn’t mind it. A guard made his way towards Liu Bei for a report on the battle of Yun Nan. He put his hand on his back and guided him away from Qing it was secretive about the report.
He brought the figures and the casualties report to him. He glanced over them not very thoroughly flipping over each page finding interesting information. ‘’Well done inform me of later developments in a couple of hours’’ The man bowed and took his leave most likely to get lunch.
He walked back towards Qing she was still young she had her entire life before her. Liu Bei didn’t know where to go next maybe the waterfall he had met a grave friend their some time ago and he learned a lot from him prior to his death. So putting his tasks aside because she was their he would want to know where she would like to go.

Looking up at the sky she noticed that there was quiet a few clouds in the sky and she wondered if maybe it would rain. If it did then that would definently make thsi day a little difficult to go around the city in. Of course rain did not really bother her all that much and it didn't have to stop them from having a day around his city. Looking at him, he looked as though he was deep in his thoughts about something. Of course she couldn't be to sure what he was thinking about at the moment.
Qing was happy in Cheng Du, the people were happy, everyone helped each other and it was just a good city. Plus she had never really been in a city just to see it for what it was, most of the time she came and then just left never did she stay for a extensive amount of time.Watching him go off with a man she stood there looking around her eyes wandering around, taking it all in. Putting her hands on her hips her gray eyes moved to take in the flowers and the trees and just about everything. Then she heard him starting to come back over and her eyes averted from everything around her to him.
Looking at him she wandered what he was doing exactly "if you need to do something I don't want to keep you here" she said bowing. After all she did feel a little bad that he was not going to take care of the tasks that he need to. She might of been a guest but all that she could think was that his people needed him more. After all he was there leader and without them this city would not of been possible. Standing there she waited to see what he would say.

He didn’t mean any disrespect towards her by getting the info from the solider on the battle going on. He turned to her with a smile ‘’You do not have to go, I have others taking care of that for me. How about we get some food’’ He was feeling a little hungry maybe this could improve their friendship. Awaiting her answer he took in the sights and the sounds of the botanical gardens that they were in and the seeing the steam rising from the hot springs. There was no fighting around here in Cheng Du only people having a good time and that was what he wanted maybe she would recognize it aswell.
Drinking some water awaiting her response still as he was thinking it might rain or it might not. He also wondered would she accept a relationship offer from him should he asked. But then again he was nervous they had only been walking for a few hours if that.

"Oh..." she said feeling like a a rock had just hit her in the head, if he needed to do something then he would of probably just done so. Shaking her head slightly due to her thoughts of probably how stupid she had of course just sounded. "Oh yea" she said looking at him, her shaking her head was obviously not meant in response to what he was asking "sure". In times like this, this city didn't appear to be to worried about the war happening around them, the horrible things happening just outside the walls. Qing stood there wandering if this city would stay like this forever or it eventually...it would fall prey to what the other cities had.
Looking up at the sky she heard some thunder and she looked at him "well looks like it's going to rain" her voice was soft as she looked up. As she stood there she looked at him "ya know, we've talked about your city a lot and you've hardly told me anything about you" she said with a small smile. After all they hadn't really talked much about anything besides the city and that was about it, which she thought that if they were going to get to know each other they needed to talk about other things. Plus she was just naturally curious to learn more about people. As she stood there she waited for him to lead her to wherever they were going.

Starting their walk from the hot springs maybe one day if she stayed she would go towards the hot springs for some relaxation practically some R&R Liu Bei got some of that every now and then he was nearly over due for one. Walking back through the botanical gardens were many were still walking home after a long days work and others were heading to the afternoon/night shift.
It was still daylight if only for a couple more hours. The rain looked as it was moving southward, a messenger ran towards the couple and a full speed then slowing to 2nd gear. He quickly said ‘’Masters Guan Yu & Yan Liang have secured victory in Yun Nan’’ Smiling that there was not many casualties he nodded his head and the messenger took his leave. He wondered how she would take that information.
Slowing his paces some more he looked at her and said ‘’Well what is there to tell, I come from a direct line to the King of Han Zhong Liu Bang and he was the one who restored peace in the Han Dynasty. I look to achieve something similar to him. Many see me as a kind gentle man who is radiating virtue. I just see myself as one of the people here in this town. I treat everyone even my army as my equal I fight along side them in battle I do not hide from the enemy.’’
Looking up in the sky it seems that the overcast has started to bring forth a little rain just a bit further from where they were they would make it back into Cheng Du before the rain got to them. He continued to say ‘’I haven’t heard much about you, if you would like. I would like to know some about you?’’ He said while looking at her.

As she walked she kept her hands laced together and took a look at the place for a moment and then kept walking. In a way something in her felt like she wanted to stay in Cheng Du, but there was a loyalty to other things. To the ship, and her father which in her life would always come first before anything else. Plus she wasn't exactly sure at this time what she wanted from life, there was a war going on around her and that wasn't exactly helping her make up her mind.
Listening to what he said she just felt like it was very formal, like he was talking to someone in the army. Maybe it was just how he talked to everyone but she found it a little weird that he didn't just say stuff about himself. Not about how he wished to rule, or how he treated the people for a leader that was great, he had a goal. She wondered if anyone though really knew him for him, or did they merely just know him as Lord Liu Bei. Giving a small nod as he talked about everything.
Then came the question of knowing about her, no one really ever asked anything about her in less they were just pretending to care. Some how it did not really seem like he was pretending, of course he could of just hid it but she wasn't all that sure. "Me..." she said tapping her chin slightly and looked at him wondering what she should tell him. "Not much to tell, ever sense I was young I've been with my father and his crew" she said shrugging. "I go where he tells me, I follow out his orders I don't ask questions and I do what he wants me to".
"Of course I really don't like it there" she said crisscrossing her feet "all of his men...aren't that bright". Qing rolled her eyes "plus I am the only girl of course I don't have to worry about any of them all that much". "After all I've beat most of them in duels but my fathers the captain and would have them killed for looking at me the wrong way". "About all I do is go around and carry out his orders" she said "so I'm not all that interesting" at least that was what she thought, of course she didn't tell the whole truth because she hadn't lived with her father her whole life but she wasn't about to tell him besides she didn't want to know what would happen if she told someone.
