"Hoo-Rah!" echoed a line of twin axemen as Lu Rai pumped his spear in a the air a few times. Wei Yan was still peeling a man from his spear when he actually realized the fight was moving away from him. With a snarl and a mocking sigh, Yan turned his horse and motioned towards the fleeing enemies.
"Lu Rai, take the twin axes and make a hard break for that enemy line. With this mass of fanatics trying to cut them off, the enemy will either sprint or slow. The twin axes will move much quicker than the shielded units." Wei Yan commanded sternly as he slammed a fist to his chest and nodded sharply. Lu Rai repeated the gesture and rode out to follow the order.
"Twins, on me! We make haste for the enemy." roared Lu Rai as he gallopped up by the remaining twin axes, them being the only unit to suffer casualities during the scruffle. Another booming "Hoo-Rah!" came from the men and they were off.
The next few moments went quickly in Wei Yan's head. He turned in his saddle, made sure with a spear jab at the sky that the rest of his men saw him and urged them on to pursue the fleeing enemy.
"Honorless dogs... Is this all a tyrant can muster, cowards who wage war like children? Glory to the Brave!" His speaking at first started silent, but by the end Wei Yan had bellowed the last phrase.
Wei Yan's unit gives chase to the fleeing Niu Fu. Lu Rai leads the twin axes to hopefully gain ground faster on the coward. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

(Mah Fourth post continuing from the arrival thread ) The effects of the drinking were starting to wear off Ba Zeng, he was never the one to be affected by such things greatly. His cloak billowed in the wind and it sang to him in the night time. There were a lot of sounds, it was a raid. Along with the artificial ones there was still nature sounds. Crickets, the wind, and partly the crackling of the fire of the camp. Parts of the field of battle were dimly being lit by the fires from the camp, and the rest were seen by moonlight. Not the most reliable source, but still Ba Zeng could now make out two forces. The ones that are running in the north, and the ones that are chasing them. As for the current situation and who the commanders were, that was something he would ask He Jin. Humph, He Jin, if they were going to him, then he must still be alive. Damn, that means soldiers will still rally to him and throw their lives away. Li Ru, Hua Xiong, Xu Rong, Lu Bu, the mistress Diao Chan. A most deadly team. This war will break China fully! They will never recover! Dong Zhou is the last chance to unite...That was Ba Zeng's prediction, however even he got things wrong. No doubt China itself will unite against Dong Zhou if He Jin remains alive. Others like Yuan Shao and Cao Cao will make their own bid for power no doubt. Zhang Jiao as well. If Dong Zhou could break them now, then China will stay united. Thats my goal... right?Ba Zeng concluded his mind was still too polluted to make such thoughts. He needed analyze the situation before he could act... "Thats the unit! Over there!" The major announced to Ba Zeng as they closed in on a group of men, presumably He Jin was in there. Somewhere. "I'll make my way from here soldier! Thank you for the escort!" Ba Zeng was truly grateful, like he had thought before, he would've ended up in a ditch without an escort. "Good luck Ba Zeng!" The major's horse gridded down to a halt, the stallion turned with a roar, then the major went to return to the camp. Ba Zeng has appeared on the battlefield, and is headed towards He Jin!Troop Count1 Very Unique Ba Zeng

Roars throughout the Allied Territory sakes the earth but if there is anyone who can shake the earth, its all Ryou and his unit that he picked up. His men ploy through the weak archers of the enemy. As soon as Kin rammed through the line of archers who were now starting to retreat, the very tails of the enemy caption show. Kin's steed spins quickly around in circles, wanting to continue to crush his opponents.
"Easy boi...Easy."
The Yellow Turbans and Allied units are starting to join together to chase the fleeing enemy. They will surely not get the kill that Ryou seeks. On the corner of his eye, the moon light shines its brightest this very night, and there the man was...that feeling that you get when you think its the person who did something, like -- shot that arrow at him. Kin checks his numbers and see they are still good with little lost.
"Uh-huh. He shall meet our blades before he touches waters!"
Ryou spun around one and then two times and heroically his steep rose off of its front two feet and then firmly touched the ground and directly after that, a boost of speed came from his mare.
"Lets go men! They will have NO mercy from us!"
Ryou and his men break eastwards but more northwards to meet Niu Fu with their blades. Kin ride head first of his leading grouping and the gap is starting to widen by the seconds. The fierce might of Ryou and his steed, Nightly, is great with one another.
The kill they seek is right there and all they have to do is reach out to it and grab it's life away. Ryou will have his soul for his own and store it in his great treasures of glory. He roars for that head and nothing more!
---> Ryou Kin break towards Niu Fu as he flees from the fight but will soon bring the fight right back to em'

Bodies began to drop like flies by the minute and it seems as though the allied forces had the upper had not only threw shere might and troops but effort and determination, Moral began to grow high among the Allied Forces ranks and started to show in the soldiers eyes and hearts, with Meng's. Troops routing Dong Min's axemen he felt some good from what his troops did, but he couldn't finish the rest due to them retreating back to their boats and try to keep as much men pssible for the Main battle to come. With 25 of Meng's spearmen dead and many injuryed, he decidied not to give a full out chase on the fleeing enemies but, have the wounded go back to the Main camp to heal their wounds while the ones who are still fresh and able to go with Lu Meng to see if they could possible still be of any help and wanted to join up with another allied generals by heading North.

"Now is chance men! Carry your thoughts of revenge upon your shoulders and you will be slow, this is war, this is the enemy, this is your chance to prove your loyalty to the Empire that was so loyal to you. For the Emperor!"[/b]
Yuan Shao was already charging upon his steed as he was finishing, all of his men were behind him, swords to the front and spears on the side, bows just behind and already readied. The allies were closer to the retreating Niu Fu, but they were surely already tired from the battling that they had been doing. Yuan Shao was waiting for the inevitable breaking of the lines, and making sure this last fledging of the Han Empire wouldn't be destroyed. But now he must kill the enemy and prove himself!
His units chased after Niu Fu, rounding the allies and even Shao had his sword drawn, slashing at any foes he approached.

(My apologies for the lateness. Had a bunch of friend over for a birthday party yesterday.)
Seeing Dong Min withdraw into his array, Zhang He pointed forward and shouted to his men.
"Very well, if that ugly whelp refuses to come to us, we'll just have to go to him! Advance!" His archers let fly with arrows as Junyi and his spearmen crashed into Dong Min's forces. Junyi leaped forward, slashing at the opposing soldiers with his claws and forming a point of entry into the formation for his men, who began a slow, methodical advance through Dong Min's line. "So this is the best Dong Zhuo has to offer? How shameful!" Junyi shouted at his opponents, "Not only are you traitors, but cowardly and hideous as well? Stand down, or I shall put you out of your misery!" One claw raked down an opponent's face as the other parried a wayward blow, which Junyi repaid with a swift kick to the face. He saw Zhou Tai's unit attacking Dong Min from a different angle and saw Zhou himself charge into the fray in the direction of Dong Min himself. "Tsk, seek your glory, hound. I oversee this beautiful task while you run ahead." He chuckled and swiped his claw across the chest of another hapless foot soldier, causing an almost poetic stream of blood to arch through the air. War may be ugly, thought Junyi, but battle can be beautiful.
Zhang He's unit has launched an all-out offensive on Dong Min's unit, with Zhang He spearheading the spearmen himself.

the 50 men, the 25 Veteran Twin maces and 25 Veteran Halberdiers, were waiting patientely in there hidden location for any sign of the retreating army. There patience paid off when they located Niu Fu himself fleeing from allied pursuers along the forrest outskirts. As soon as Niu Fu himself had passed their hidden location by a simple centimetre the troops sprungout from their hiding place in the trees of the forrest right behind and Niu Fu and charged at him and with it they let out a great yell of success over their successful ambush.
Lu Zhi himself was at the end of the forrest hiding and taking cover behind the trees too waiting to hear the yell of success of his own ambush troops when they managed to trap the enemy general in their plan. When he heard the yell he hastely gave the order for his 35 Veteran Horsemen with Shields and Swords to charge out around the side of the forest from when they were hiding right infront of the boats with Lu Zhi himself behind his soldiersCharging straight for Niu Fu himself who was now trapped between the ambush soldiers behind him and the charging horse soldiers infront of him. Lu Zhi let out a great booming yell to Niu Fu while approaching him sword unsheathed.
"Perish you scum of the earth!!!"

So chaos had certainly struck this mighty battlefield, yet it was not weaved by the fat hands of the tyrannical Dong Zhuo; instead, it was the Han who cast the flames back upon the silent night enemy, scattering the task force sent to rout the might of the alliance. Hundreds of bodies now littered the rumbling ground, struck down by spear, sword and arrow alike, but most carried the violent garbs of the false emperor. The rest could only panic and flee back to their awaiting boats, to be ferried across back to unknown numbers, and unknown punishments. Dong Min however, would not yet flee. Unaware of the northern troops fleeing, along with his comrade in arms Niu Fu, Dong Min could only cast a furious glare at the approaching barbs to his forces; the most piercing of these however, was Zhou Tai’s tongue. Crashing through his already broken lines, Dong Min rode out to meet the man’s call, and bellowed out in return. “What bastard dares speak in such a vile tongue!? I shall cut it out and FEED IT TO YOU!” It was in this rage that Dong Min was fortunate enough to see the rampaging fairy that was Zhang He closing in on his position. The general panicked, rose his sword above his head, and called upon his remaining archers to prepare another volley, a final act of desperation? “F-fire again!” The archers, who were in complete disarray, some retreating, others feebly firing off some shots, attempted to compose themselves at the new barking order. Many snapped their bows in their panic, and scattered their arrows in a rushed attempt to string back and fire. Finally, a paltry two dozen men launched a feeble volley into the enemy ranks, but the greatest devastation came at the hand of a single soldier, who tripped as another man crashed into him from behind. The arrow was let loose, there was no doubt of this, and as it hurtled through the air, whistling amongst the screams of dying soldiers, it pierced a back leg of Dong Min’s steed, causing the animal to keel over, toppling the general with it. Having dropped his sword, and now on his knees scurrying around at the front line of his troops, Min was at the mercy of his nearest enemy. His leg was broken, twisted and crushed under the weight of his own horse. Who would claim the man’s head however? The hunt for glory was now on. Seeing their general collapse, the rest of the troops morale plummeted, and against the ferocious skill of generals such as Lu Meng, they could never stand a chance. Many scattered, others surrendered, hoping to save their own lives, if not their souls. Towards the north, the remainder of Dong Min’s men would either rush back to the boats in a desperate sprint, knowing of some chance of salvation, but completely unaware of the brilliant Lu Zhi’s ambush up ahead. It seems many would be cut down by the machine that was Zhang Jiao, accompanied by the rest of the allies in the north. These troops had met their demise - the fate of Dong Min was yet to be decided.

He Jin's veterans were cutting down Dong Min's infantry, one by one, as they fought beside the other brave officers under his command. The huge and powerful Guan Yu, with his magnificent beard blowing in the wind, was just ahead of Jin and he admired the man's strength. Also, Lu Meng of the south and the likes of Zhang Liao, who Jin had spoken to earlier, were also present in the area; making the east a bad place to be if one were an enemy. A sword plunged into the chest of a Dong Min spearman as Jin's veterans were being riled to the point of frenzy. The battle had turned, in an instant, but He Jin was not quite aware why. Sure, the east was caught in a heated battle but why was he seeing enemy banners running toward the river in the north. Had the allies struck a victory against the forces there? The Commander saw his opportunity to strike while some of Min's soldiers began to break. With Zhou Tai and Zhang He ripping the enemy lines apart from inside, it began to crush the rebel army's morale. Jin raised his blade, the blade of justice, as he approached quickly on his steed and swung downward like the judge of war; the verdict was death! With blood finally staining his weapon, the Commander raised his sword to the heavens and then forward to the east. Behind him, the soldiers raised their weapons as well and gave a deafening cheer! "Huzzah!" they yelled, pumping their blades into the air once. "HUZZAH!" they exclaimed, doing it again. Veterans were called off, 500 in number, and ordered to give chase. The enemy would not escape, especially after such a cowardly night attack. Ironic though, that sometimes great strategies were known as dastardly tactics. It was also true of the bow and arrow, a warrior's worst nightmare and a weapon that could kill from a position far away. Some could call the weapon cowardly, but when in fact it was ingenious. Arrows soared overhead from Sio and Zhang Ren, sending even more panic throughout the already breaking enemy. Those men, would do their deed and offer support from afar but it would not go unnoticed. Just as He Jin was about to give chase, himself, word came from 2 messengers. One, informed the Commander that Dong Min had been seen falling from his steed. The second, told of a man approaching from the west, the direction of the main camp. The second messenger noted the stench of wine by the barrels, but he did not mention it to his lord. "Very well, bring me Dong Min alive or dead!" he ordered, waving his hand as if having his men kill someone was like shooing away an attendant with cold tea! The Commander turned his horse, to face the newcomer, and sat awaiting what exactly he wanted. His remaining veterans, who had not given chase, were with him. "What is it that you seek? The other allies are pushing forward and bringing the fight to the enemy, are you joining?"He Jin was waiting for a reply when yet another soldier approached with a message, but this time it was news that was NEVER expected. "What!? Gather an escort, we will move to the north as i must see this with my own eyes!" the Commander said, getting word that Zhang Jiao had appeared to........aid the allies? He Jin's veterans fan out to hunt down the enemy!

In-Battle Post
"F-fire again!"
Zhang He was giving one of Dong Min's soldiers a metaphorical makeover when he heard Dong Min's voice. he glanced up and saw no more than a score of arrows descending on him and his men. Thinking quickly, he dropped to a crouch, sweeped the legs of the soldier in front of him, and used his soon-to-be corpse to shield himself form the projectiles. As he threw the body aside and rose, Junyi heard a horse cry out, followed by a thud and a more human cry. Considering the ground-bound nature of Dong Min's troops, that meant that an officer had fallen; whether it was friend or foe was unknown, but soon to be discovered.
"Qu Yi!" Junyi called to his lieutenant, "Continue the attack. I have some business to attend to."
Junyi dashed toward the noise, swiping at enemies as he moved, slicing this one, eviscerating that. At this point Dong's men were beginning to flee; rather than pursue, Junyi kept his eye out for the fallen horse. He spied it, slightly trampled by the retreating rabble (ZOMG ALLITERATION), a short distance ahead of himself. Wasting no time, Junyi leaped into action, cutting down anyone unlucky enough to get int the way of his target. As he neared the horse, he saw under it the prone officer who he had spied before. He knelt down to the officer and leaned closer to his ear.
"Ah, greetings, general," cooed Junyi softly, "I expect you will make a most beautiful prize..." With that, Junyi brought his knee swiftly to Dong Min's face, then dragged him from underneath the horse, taking great care not to further injure the creature*. Then, carrying the wounded (and hopefully unconscious) general on his shoulder, he walked casually toward where Zhou Tai and his lieutenant were approaching from and shouted to Zhou.
"Zhou Tai, I've happened across a most beautiful gift for the Lord Commander. If you would give me a ride, we could present it to him together."
Zhang He has captured Dong Min and is trying to bum a ride off Zhou Tai. His troops are being overseen by Qu Yi (his lieutenant).

Zhou Tai's troops walked towards their fearless general confidently. They had suffered a low death rate, and inflicted a high amount of casualties. AS Zei Fang rode towards Zhou Tai, his face was beaming and his spear was covered in blood. "Zhou, did you see me out there!? Did you see when I flung that guy into another and they impaled themseves? Did you see that!? It was AMAZING OUT THERE!" He said giddily as he twirled his spear around, reinacting he fight. Zhou Tai just smiled as he stuck his sword tip through the clothes of a dead enemy. As he ripped the shirt off in one big piece, He used it to remove the blood frim himself, and then offering the clean part to Zei Fang. Zei Fang, too, cleaned himself up as ZHang He approached Zhou Tai.
"Hm... present him together, you say?" Zhou Tai said. As he pretended to think hard, he turned to Zei Fang. "Zei, I need to take care of some business. Gather the troops, take a head count, and then get over to He Jin for more orders, will you? I will have already been over there givin He Jin this marionette of a General. Come, Zhang He, we shall ride together. But keep him behind you. I would rather not have him molest me for his own sexual desire." Zhou Tai said, still insulting the man. He did this because the General lost in an extremely unvaliant way. His troops retreated, they failed to attack the enemy (and hit their own leader in the process) and he refused to fight against Zhou Tai the first time. ONce Zhang He and Dong Min were on his powerful stallion, Zhou Tai clicked his tongue and they rode off towards He Jin. "Well, Zhang He, it seems we make a pretty good team." he said as they approached He Jin. Then, Zhou Tai spoke to their Grand Commander.
"Lord He Jin! Zhang He and I both wish to bestow a gift upon you. We bring you a General by the name of Dong Min to do with what you please."
As Zei Fang counted up the troops, he couldn't help but smile. If they were to be this successful in all of their battles... Zei Fang was going to like fighting with his master even more then he enjoyed traiing with them. But he still couldn't get over one fact...
...They won, and they did so in amazing fashion.

So, it seemed the elder Lu Zhi was more of a challenge than one may have thought by his mere looks. It would be clear now, to the other doubters, that he was not only a loyal servant of his commander but also an able tactician. Niu Fu had already felt slightly upset, that he left his men to die, but it seemed what went around came around again in what was labeled 'bad karma'. In fact, the irony was even greater considering the fact that Niu Fu had completed his own successful ambush only hours ago. "What the?"The sound that followed could be akin to a tomato getting squished by the hoof of a horse! Something also started to smell a bit, but it could have been the animal Fu was riding. From the trees poured Lu Zhi's maniacal men, hell bent on killing something with their weapons of stabby deathness. Niu Fu had but two choices: 1) He could fight back and die, or 2) He could try and run and.......die He would take..................option 3!! From the south came troops that were formerly under the command of Niu Fu's ally, Dong Min! The soldiers were broken, but seeing the smaller army of Lu Zhi and an allied general made them go crazy! "Get them! Help me!" the general yelled, pulling on his horse to move southward. Niu Fu rode hard and cut a bloody path through whoever was in his way. He moved toward the allied infantry who numbered maybe 60 or so, assorted. The general laughed a bit as he rushed into his own lines, trampling one of his own men in the process. " Now! Strike out at them!" he yelled, immediately rushing toward the boats; leaving even more men for dead! Niu Fu has been aided by Dong Min's broken men, who were heading back to the boats, and he is making a final attempt at escaping! Niu Fu, acting like the utmost coward, will most likely live to see another day!

Things were going as planned, though Dagoth Ur had not been able to get to Niu Fu quick enough as he continued his escape. Stille watching the battle with Gong Ce the Great Teacher shook his head, however it was a good sight to see Dong Zhuo's mean begin to flee since Jiao stepped into battle. Looking to Heaven the Sage master nodded a little, as if signaling for some kind of divine intervention. "Heavens! Carry the feet to Niu Fu, he shall not escape judgement!" Perhaps the men were fighting their best being clad in white, being lead by Jiao however; he had not shown solidarity and remained at the sides. Shaking his head the Great Teacher swung the staff in a some what agressive manner. Grabbing hold of the reigns Gong Ce became frightened, he had not see such a glare from the gentile sage before; had the Heaven's given him the inner strength he wished? "Do not allow him to escape! The Heaven's wish for his head!" ...
Suddenly the white mare pulled up onto it's back legs letting out a horrifying neigh, Jiao was going to join the battle. Preparing himself Gong Ce was ready to follow his master at any pace; knowing that Niu Fu was going to have a hard time getting away from the allied force. "Huuuaaarrr!" A tormented shreak left the lips of the Sage as the white horse bolted forward, it's speed was remarkable and it was headed straight for Niu Fu. Seeing such a glare from their master the entire White clad army did the same and turned to attack the running Niu Fu, some hoping to take near swips at the horses legs so he could fall; if so, they would bundle him holding his body to the ground until their master would catch them up.
Zhang Jiao and his unit continue to make chase in order to capture Niu Fu!

As Lu Zhi and his troops charged he was so sure he'd strike the head of Niu Fu's shoulders so sure. But when the enemy soldiers appeared to the south and Niu Fu's belief and warriors spirit renewed and successfully breaking through and out of the ambush killing two veteran twin maces and 3 veteran halberdiers Lu Zhi cursed at the top of his voice through anger and annoyance at the failure after coming so close to killing him. He bellowed at the top of his voice.
"You may escape now Niu Fu! But i will kill you yet you traitorous scum! You shall perish when we next meet in the name of the Han!"
It was at this point that he noticed what appeared to be was allied troops charging into the flank of the enemy at this he bellowed one again to his troops.
"Form up ranks men! AND CHARGE!!!!! SLAY NIU FU!"
Lu Zhi at the head of his men gave one last charge to head straight into the ranks of the enemy soldiers aiming for Niu Fu to kill him once and for all and aid there allies.

"Gah! We are too late! I got to kill something today!"
Zhang Fei hollered across the field as he and his men centered around the remains of Dong Min's Unit.A nearby enemy soldier attempted to crawl away.Fei brought the Serpent Spear down into his lower back and then withdrew his weapon.
Now feeling a little better,Fei again began his drunken charge. He now headed towards the riverbanks with the intent on killing anyone there.
After following the sounds of battle in the North,Zhang Fei noticed that some of the troops fighting wore yellow and bore scarves.Zhang Fei's eyes widened as he realized what was happening.
"The Yellow Scarves!? They have returned!? Not on my watch! Kill them and the enemy!"
Fei commanded while furiously shaking his spear around. The Drunken Warrior from the county of Yan charged headlong into the breach between the Fleeing forces of Dong Zhuo and the persuing Han Army.Intent on killing the Yellow Turbans and Dong Zhuo's Army.
