Zhang Liao's forces suffered light casualties under the withering fire attack. Advancing quickly and lightly, his forces managed to avoid direct conflict with a numerically superior enemy until the choice was his. Stopping at a hill that gave him a commanding view, Zhang Liao bid his troops to halt. A banner flew further ahead, one that looked as though it were Yuan Shao's banner.
Returning to his lieutenants, the general issued his orders.
"Comrades, it's time we give these bastards one-for. Lieutenant Hong, your skirmishers will lead the advance. Lieutenant Chang, bring up the rear -- I want to know about anything that comes near us."
The two underlings saluted sharply, rushing off to issue their orders. Zhang Liao pulled his brown cloak off, revealing his gleaming blue-and-gold armor beneath. Grinning, he hefted his halberd, eager for a bawl.

Lu Zhi and his forces while charging through the archer ranks did not stop to give a full on head to head battle with them instead while they were in dissarray he carried on marching but went east in the direction of the forrest there. when reaching the forest he would then make his forces march north and slip past the current battle happening between the allied forces and DOng Min's unit and headed up north til he reached the river.
He smiled when he noticied the boats of the enemy, there only escape route, they would surely head here to flee when things took a turn for the worst for them. Lu Zhi hurriedly set about his forces in preperation for defending his position here in the event of them trying to escape and will no doubts be willing to cut through his forces for them to do so. He had his remaining 45 Veteran Horses with Shields and swords, as he found out 5 died in the fire attacl, in front of him standing there ground.

"Good men! Don't let up on them! The night is almost ours!"
Guan yelled through the screams of the soldiers in pain as his horsebowmen continued to fire upon the soldiers. It had gotten to the point where the men were too close for bows, but the horsebowmen also had the strength and speed of the horses as well as being able to shoot at close distances, though it would be less effective. This drove Guan to charge the enemy himself.
As they got closer the spears had caused Guan's horse to rear back. Guan growled low and began to slay the soldiers with his Green Dragon, beheading most of them without a second thought. As he continued to strike out at the opposing spearmen himself, his horsebowmen continued to trample over them and fire into their macemen ranks, seeing that they were to the rear of the spearmen.
Guan and his unit continue to fight the spear and macemen with more ferocity.

With a mighty boom, the battle had begun. Wild charges and rampant ambushes spread across the fields , and the clashing of metal against metal, steel against flesh, reverberated throughout the night sky. The endless screams and cries of hundreds of soldiers falling to the chaos of war was the beat the survivors had to dance to, yet the rhythm left a lot to be desired. Fluidity was not present it would seem - this was, as Dong Zhuo had wanted, pure carnage, yet it was not sided with the fat man’s ambitions. Here his own generals were beginning to be overwhelmed by the gathered alliance, and the sudden arrival of The Great Teacher, Zhang Jiao. What could these men do? EastFirst however, Dong Min dealt with the most immediate of valiant threats - Zhou Tai. “Who is this puny man that sally’s forth against me?! He deserves not my time - meet him with a hail of arrows!” As fast as these words left his rumbling lungs, Dong Min turned to witness the eloquent Zhang He speed up upon his position. Panic struck the general momentarily - he was being outflanked. The archers, too, were in dismay, smashed by Lu Zhi’s southern attack, they could only let loose a feeble effort of a volley towards the approaching enemies - some 100 arrows were launched wildly at the rallied soldiers, others simply could not compose themselves enough to draw back their bows. “Where did they come from!? Why didn’t we spot them sooner!?” In his shaken state, Dong Min rode away from the enemy generals closing in for his head, cowering behind his lines of infantry, whom were now furiously engaging with the enemy. They still held the numbers in this area against the likes of Zhang He, Zhou Tai, Lu Meng, and Lu Zhi. True dread struck Zhou’s general however, when the mighty veterans of the Han stormed out wildly into his own ranks. On each flank, the macemen rushed out to engage their enemy, smashing allied bone without mercy. To the north of their position, they rushed Zhang He’s clandestine assault; to the south, they worked to surround the cavalry of Lu Zhi. Watching them rush towards the river, the macemen broke rank to give chase to this new ploy, with Dong Min unaware of this new move. The main ranks of spears, now outnumbered, readied their weapons, and thrust out at the incoming Han forces, hoping to take on their might, if only for a while. But all seemed lost when the rumbling of hundreds of footsteps stormed his other unit - Zhang Jiao had arrived. NorthThe crashing assault of the unknown warrior, Dagoth Ur, was not one the archers were anticipating. They lost many from the initial strike, falling to panic more than the enemies numbers, which still ranked far lower than their own. Indeed they were somewhat comforted by knowledge of Niu Fu’s ambush, and around 50 spearmen in the bank ranks of the main infantry unit here broke away to aid in combat against this cloaked crusader. But now they too would be overwhelmed by the allies efforts. The front ranks rushed out to engage the approaching forces of Guan Yu, Yuan Shao, and Wei Yan, unaware in the carnage that they took the raining death of arrows from Sio within the camp. Spears primed, Dong Min’s infantry drove forth, hoping overwhelm their enemies before Zhang Jiao could deal with the now helpless Niu Fu. Dong Min’s men are panicking - yet fighting with greater vigor! The general had refused to duel his enemies, and continues to engage them!(If you arent mentioned by name here, you're in one of the big blobs of allies, didnt want to make it too confusing..)

The battle rages on as many men start to fall by both Dong Zhou's men and the Han forces, but Meng had to worry his men and the troops in front of him at the time. Meng troops where fighting valiantly but with some effort, but from the looks of things it looks as though that more axemen from the enemies force had been killed, but about 25 of his Spearmen had died from the head up charge against the axemen. Meng killed many men but as it seems this little battle was taking loner than expected.
Meng then saw Lu Zhi's Calvary rushed towards the enemies boats to maybe try and cut off their escape route and maybe take some of their supplies, Meng really doesn't know what Zhi had in his mind but surely it would benefit the Han in the battle. As Meng stil had his archers still station with Zhi's to cut down the enemy archers, Meng quickly ordered one of him men to run over and have them station near Zhi's calvary in order to shot towards the enemy macemen that where charging towards them.
^^.... So do I have to delete this post??

Niu Fu was in his glory, thinking of how much he would be rewarded for winning the battle with his grand ambush, as he cut down one of Dagoth’s Veterans. The general noted the soldier had almost killed him, so he truly was up against some well trained opponents. However, Fu had sheer numbers and the dark warrior trapped like a bug between two rocks. “Finish them!” he yelled, now getting over anxious to seize the day. The Hammer men were having a grand old time, smashing heads and shields apart like a mallet crushing some nuts! Ouch. They swung overhead and then flailed the weapon around to swing side to side doing what they did best; shocking, scaring, and mauling the enemy. However, just as quickly as things looked good they took an immediate turn for the worse! It was ironic, how that happened, but it was a part of battle. From the rear flank of Niu Fu’s army, which had the advantage momentarily, came the former enemy #1 of the Han! Zhang Jiao, like a magical being from the lands beyond, sort of like where Zhang He was from, fairy land, came blazing in from the west with fresh reinforcements for the allies! It was still unknown how they would react to such assistance, but one thing was for sure and that was Niu Fu wished Dong Zhuo had not double-crossed Jiao. Not only did the Great Teacher arrive, but the noble Yuan Shao had exited the northern gate of the main camp. Also, the famed warrior Wei Yan had engaged with Fu’s troops and now he was the one surrounded!! “Men, fall back!”The soldiers, if they decided to turn and flee would most likely get annihilated. If they chose to stand and fight they could at least kill a few more allies. It was always a difficult decision to make, fight with honor or run like a coward. Everyone knew though, the coward could fight another day while the hero’s life would be ended. Niu Fu refuses to face Dagoth and turns to flee east toward the river after being raped by 3 to 4 allies!

"Ah, so the general cowars behind his troops! Truly, he is a man to commend. Puny, worthless insect, I am glad you did not accept my challenge. I don't enjoy fighting women." Zhou Tai bellowed as he dismounted his horse. As a feeble, weak volley of 100 arrows flew towards his soldiers, they all saw this, crouched, and raised their wide falchions over their bodies, as shields. Once the volley was completed, Zei Fang roared louder than anyone on the battle field.
"MEN! CHARGE DONG MIN! GIVE HIM NO QUARTER! HE WILL TASTE OUR FURY THIS NIGHT!" As he and Zhou Tai charged towards Dong Min. His soldiers, upon hearing this battle cry, roared their own as they charged towards Dong Min. Zei Fang hoped other generals nearby heard this war cry and aided them in dismantling the feeble infantry of Dong Min.
As Zhou Tai's twin swords vigorously began swinging their swords everywhere, they did so with purpose. They were not berserk barbarians, but trained warriors who knew how to use their blades well. When macemen came, they spun and slashed. When spearmen thrusted, the batted, and sliced the end off the wooden spear. They were meticulous in their slaughtering. Something Zhou Tai taught them many a year ago.
Zhou Tai, who was on foot, began a massacre of his own, bringing men to justice by way of the blade. Zei Fang whiped his spear around masterfully as he rode through enemy ranks, roaring and killing in a perfect melody. His warriors wanted blood, and Zhou Tai was bent on having them achieve their wish. All the while, Zhou Tai and Zei Fang made their way towards Dong Min, cutting down everyone with enemy colors down in their way.
*Zhou Tai, Zei Fang, and 95 Twin Blades have entered combat with Dong Min's infantry! Zhou Tai and Zei Fang are heading towards Dong Min!*

Sio and his men cheered as Niu Fu began retreating, then Sio noticed that the Great Teacher had arrived. Sio was overjoyed, he would hope that after the battle he could talk to the wisest man in the world. Gathering his archers, Sio noticed that five were missing, probaly burnt in the fire attack upon the main camp. He Jin was attacking the east and would need fire support, perphaps a few flying stars could aid him!
The Dragon King and his soldiers moved across the main camp's walls, staying to the higher elevation to have an advantage and saw their moment when they reached the east gate, to aid He Jin from above. Surely earning the great lord's respect and support would aid him in the future, so Sio gathered his men in 4 lines of 20, telling them to shoot in a row. Bang, bang, bang, thwang! The men and Sio were silent, the eve of battle had given them so much joy that they couldn't even speak. They let off arrows over the air, aiding He Jin and were ready to help move in case the enemy retreated. They were careful not to interrupt the melee battles and not attack his own allies, that would be terrible. Sio accidently killing Jin in a volley. ;O Oh no.

And so it began, the battle for survival, where every muscle in the Knights body would ache and spasm as his arms automatically thrashed around wildly, his two dual swords driving through leather, metal and flesh as he removed these fools from his side. But the pressure was growing, his men were falling left right and centre, and exhausted by the deflections he had forced them to do, there were no where else for them to fall but within the hands of Hydrias himself.
Now Hydrias was a known veteran of war, a man who had become diseased by his sheer obsession to kill. In time such a man would die, and his spirit would be bound to the chest of the un-loving, where he would watch them, kill them - and re live the life of a warrior over and over again. The Dark Knight was a strong believer of these tale folk myths, and as his garments covered within the blood of his enemies, he cried his prayer, in hopes that his un-loving gods would protect him.
But It seemed endless, the onslaught he would face, the destruction he would have to flee from, the men he had slain seemed nothing to the amount that attacked his squadron, and facing death in the face - he readied himself for the retreat, but then it came crashing down, the hordes, the farmers, the peasants - thousands of which plunged into the back of Niu Fu's men, tearing their limbs as they ravaged through the archers and soldiers. Even with his own losses, it seemed his distraction was a success, and who else would have helped him but the famous Zhang Jiao, a man who he had once served a long time ago. The sight pleased him, but there were no time for words, he flailed his dual swords some more, cutting down another bystander in his way - allowing this drive to carry him forth.
he took him deeper into the fight, his soldiers finding hidden strengths at the sight of this life changing experience, their screams turned from cries of fright to cries of hatred, and their swords fell upon their enemies in perfect unison, deflection, thrust, deflection, thrust - their shield work and sword work matched even the gods in those few moments, and the Dark Knight smiled as he drove his sword into another's skull, letting the blood soak his hands before he tore it back out again.
"Men, push forward! let the heavens fear your hatred!"
His cries were replied by the likes of Wei Yan and the countless other generals who charged past them, providing support, providing aid. His heart raced, and he called out to his enemies, "The Han may have fallen..but the spirit of the warrior can never perish..and as long as we..the warriors of this land survive, you shall never DEFEAT US."
he threw himself into the soldiers, allowing his own army to set up a strong barricade where their shields protected each other, the hammer-men and axe-men had new enemies to face, and the pressure was finally off of his own troops. he however, he remained within the thick of the battle, his dual swords swirling in patterns as they sliced through his enemies, his arms grew weary, his clothing heavy, but never did he falter - his struggling body continued to fight, until another ally approached, where he finally ordered the withdrawal, heading back up the western bank, only a few yards form the main fight. Where he could see Zhang Jiao from his newly founded vantage point.
Zhang Jiao was amass the men that had saved them, and their armies crushed into the ranks of Niu Fu's men with the likes of Wei Yan and the others with added support. The Dark knight called to them all, offering his thanks for their survival, before plummeting into the enemies flank once more, tearing their pride, their honour and their lives away from them.
"Zhang Jiao!" he called out "It has been too long Teacher, i am grateful for the assistance, had you not have shown up - who knows what fate would have delivered me, if i can repay this to you someday, i shall die a free man."
He nodded respectfully, removing the hood that masked his features, behind shined his white long hair, a red bandanna and eyes as large as pearls. he was a fairly good looking man - but deep within him rested a demon, a man that no longer cared for humanity, and that eerie presence within him was evident by his de-crepid eyes, that seemed colder and darker then ever before, "let's finish this mission ... Niu Fu must pay for his actions."
And with that he sped off, his soldiers barricading the enemy once more, as The Dark Knight hunted for Niu Fu, "Fight me you coward, let your soul return to the darkness in which i was risen from. I shall spill your guts among the faces of your soldiers, and laugh as they plead for their pathetic lives. Do you seek mercy - you shall find none here, all that awaits you, your family, your friends..is death!"
His sword rammed into another soldier, gutting the man like a fish as his innards flopped from his side, squealing - the man fell, and the Dark Knight walked among the bodies of the damned some more, waiting..watching - and dying for the opportunity to slit this idiots throat.

Zhang Fei situation was somewhat grim.He had lost about a fourth of his men and he know did not know where he was.The Plains and Forests all looked alike to the Drunken Warrior.
Yide noticed some of Dong Zhuo's Soldiers retreating to his north.Fei ignored them, they were no challenge to him! As he looked around he noticed some fighting to the southeast of his position.
Green Banners flew and Hooves pounded the Earth as Zhang Fei made a blind charge towards Dong Min's Northern Flank. He held his spear at his side and rushed to engage the nearest enemy soldier!

The Great teacher merely smiled at the now fearful Dong Zhuo forces, surely this would be the first lesson for that man; though Niu Fu and Dong Min would feel the anger of betrayal that was within Zhang Jiao...
However, the thought of inhialating Niu Fu was broken as a familiar voice rose from the man; though the night layed a veil of shadow over the landscape Jiao could see the speaker clearly. Quite surprised that he was still alive, the Great Teacher smiled and the Heavens allowed even time to break for the breif glimpse to reasure Jiao that it was he; the white warrior. "Ahhh! Celestial shadow of the white visage, such brings heaven's joy to know that one of their children still lives!" ...
As the battle raged Jiao saw that Niu Fu was beginning to retreat, the only way that general was going to return to Dong Zhuo was through a box; just his head... A simple preminition for the traitor. "Children! The enemy wishes to seek the Water Goddess, show him that the Heaven's are with us; we shall show him the way to the courts of Hell!" Half of Jiao's troops remained fighting the main part of Niu Fu's unit, the other moved round to try and block off any form of retreat from the general; he was not going to get away. The Great Teacher looked into the sky, the stars winking in approval of what was happening; with gesture's towards both the Heaven's and the earth Jiao prepared to press the attack. "The Hand of Heaven shuns the Blue Dragon! Use the divine strength to push the hands within, the strength of the Yellow Dragon shall crush Niu Fu into submission" Swinging the mysterious looking staff around in full circles, it would end up facing in the direction of Niu Fu; his minutes were numbered. "Niu Fu shall be the example for the treacherous Dong Zhuo, remove his head and send him to the Hand of judgement!" The white clad warriors smiled as their Master gave the order to both fight harder, but also the glory of cutting the head of Niu Fu for the Great Teacher. "Hhhhuuuuuaaaarrr!!" The mighty roar, matching that of the southen Tigers than roam the boarders of Heaven and Hell waiting to torture those seen as evil...
However, Jiao was not the only one wishing to take Niu Fu's head as the white warrior challeneged the general; making it had to each each other. Thrusting the staff forward, Gong Ce sat upon horseback merely watching his master; hoping to learn even now. "The Heaven's have chosen the sword, we must wield it to bring the judgement upon Niu Fu! Block the path of the enemy, allow no escape, the warrior of the white shadows shall be the one to take his head!" Acknowledging that Jiao was refering to the unknown warrior that began to cut his way through the enemy in the direction of Niu Fu, to make it easier for him some of Jiao's men began to cut a path... They knew why Jiao wanted him to do so, it was not his place to claim the reward for the white-faced warrior pushed harder.
Zhang Jiao's unit pushes hard onto Niu Fu's unit, with half trying to block any form of escape for Niu Fu while the others cut a path for Dagoth Ur to get a clean attack (on his own) at Niu Fu!

Making A Spy
After Zhang Ren and Liu Pi parted ways for the battle Ren went up on the battlements. Drawing his bow he started firing on the rushing enemy. As the allies closed in on the enemy he shifted to firing on the archers, his shots getting less accurate as they went. In less time than Ren had figured, the Imperial forces were fleeing before the allies.
Meanwhile, Liu Pi and moved fast to the south east, where Ren had stationed his 100 veteran soldiers. The men where hidden in a forest, being careful to be unnoticed. Pulling his headband out of his pockets he retied it to his head, so as to be noticeable to his men.
Upon arrival the vets looked anxious. A lieutenant came up to Pi. "Commander, thank god you arrived, we were beginning to think you had entered the battle without us." The man made a half hearted salute to Liu Pi.
"Fear not Zhang Wei, it just took me longer than I wanted it to to arrive. Commander Ren stayed behind in the main camp. Get the men to pack up. As well as warn them that I shall not be joining you back here. I shall be hitching a ride upon the imperial forces boats." Liu Pi spoke quickly and moved just as quickly as the two men walked around the camp issuing various orders.
In a very short amount of time the vets had their meager supplies packed and were ready to march. Liu Pi quickly lead them due east slightly north toward the river. They were very careful to avoid any army. Upon reaching eye distance of the river they followed its path north, searching for the enemy fleet.

****Round 4**** ::MORALE:: *********************************************** The battle in the north was not really a battle at all as the remaining soldiers under Niu Fu and Dong Min, in that area, were running for their lives. Zhang Jiao’s army was too much for them to withstand as well as the added men of Wei Yan. Dagoth’s troops fought valiantly as well, amazingly surviving a brutal pincer attack only recently. “Sir, wait for us!! Please!!” a few of the Militia Twin Axes yelled to their leader who was making haste east toward the river. Niu Fu looked back on his horse, feeling ashamed to have withdrawn from the fight as well as leaving his men for dead. However, he had no choice if he wanted to reach the main army and live to fight another day. Swords and spears ripped apart many of the rebels who could not escape due to being surrounded. Zhang Jiao had sent cavalry to try and cut Niu Fu’s path of retreat, but the general had a head start. Not only that, but Dagoth’s men were also in pursuit and most likely that included Wei Yan’s troops. Niu Fu pulled the reins of his steed, ordering his horse to halt before looking to the south for his comrade. His eyes almost popped from his skull as hundreds, if not thousands, of allied soldiers with banners swaying in the wind were breaking upon Dong Min’s men like waves over the shore. The general thought, for a moment, of riding south to inform his ally that the north was overrun. However, that would put his life in risk when he currently had a clear path to the boats. “I am sorry Min, but you should do the same” he said, muttering to himself while beginning to move east again. Niu Fu is heading for the boats to the northeast! He has abandoned his ally Dong Min and is going to withdraw on one of the vessels! *********************************************** Troops: None!
