Smiling to follow a man of great strength, the Lady Pei went alone leaving the others behind her; not wanting over crowd the council chamber. Pei had been to Chengdu before, but not for some time and was amazed how far it had come; all under the rule of this Liu Bei.. The signs Zhang Jiao were speaking of? Reaching the council chamber Fan Pei halted once again at the Audience Guards; fortunate for Pei she was being escorted by Guan Yu, which would mean instant clearing and entrance to speak with Liu Bei..

As Guan lead the envoy from the kingdom Yu. He walked a few steps ahead of her, nodding to the guards, signaliing them to let them pass. The guard, however, handed Guan a letter. The man's eyebrow raised at the action and read the letter.
"Ah of course."
Guan then turned towards the envoy and bowed slightly.
"It seems that my brother has left recently on important matters. I have been set in charge of Cheng Du and all decisions until he returns. The letter asks for me to speak with the envoy of Yu and speak with them about the alliance."

((Continuation form the gates))
Xifeng had used the time they where walking through the city to calm herself, shove the irritation that she felt against Zhang Fei intothe back of her mindand let was was important, these talks, come first The woman paticipated in the small talk as they walked through the city, trying to be sociable in a situation where usually she would remain scilent. And she was getting pretty good at this...
"Your city is beautiful, Lord Liu Bei; A place where an air of tension does not exist is hard to find anymore." She said to the other, remembering hat she had been told about compliments from her fellow officer. Work them in alot, and use the word beauty. Zhang He had also said to strike poses, but she was pretty sure he had been joking with her... Almost.
But now, it was time to change gears, for the real reason she had come here. They seemed to know already, and Xifeng wasn't unduly worried about being turned down either, espically with the show at the gates. But all the same! "Lord Liu Bei, I have a message here from my Master, Yuan Shao. I hope you will accept it with the goodwill it was written in."
With that, the woman handed over the scroll to Liu Bei.

The walk towards the palace
While accompanying Miss Xifeng of Chang Sha he noticed all the little things around his town and life most leaders in this time wouldn’t even recognize the little things. But Liu Bei thought of himself not as a ruler but one of them so that he was on the same level he didn’t want anyone to feel inferior to him.
Walking with her what she said was most likely true, as they walked through the botanical gardens of Cheng Du where many were walking with their children to see the serenity around then. ‘’Thank you for your humble words Miss Xifeng, I would like one day for China to become like this’’ He smiled at her as they approached the palace.
Inside the palace
As he sat and drank some water that was on the table were they were sitting at to discuss the ventures of why she was here. She passed him the scroll which enclosed had the letter in which Yuan Shao had written towards him a simple gesture of an alliance.
He looked over it thoroughly he did remember Yuan Shao in the battle against Dong Zhou. But he had never really had the chance to speak to him a lot after the battle as he took off to the northeast and Liu back to the west.
Glancing through the last part of the letter he put the scroll down gently on the glass table, which was ontop on the marble floor. Taking a sip of his water once again and placed it on the table.
Finally he looked over at her ‘’Miss Xifeng, please tell your Lord Yuan Shao. I accept his offer for an alliance may Shu & Yuan work together to rid the land of chaos. If you would like to stay the night I can arrange to have an room in the palace ready for you’’ He said while awaiting her reaction and statement.

Outside of the Palace. Jian Yuan and Fei Yun arrived at outside of the palace after they strolling around Cheng Du city. There were two guards, possibly imperial guards, guarding the entrance into the palace. As Jian Yuan approached the entrance, one of the guards halt Jian Yuan and Fei Yun with his shealthed sword. "Who are you? What kind of purpose you bring here? the guard asked. Jian Yuan immediately salute and said, "I'm Jian Yuan Wu Yang, and this is my companion, Fei Yun. We wish to speak to your lord, to join his forces and help the innocents." The guard immediately put back his shealthed sword to his waist and said to Jian, "Please follow me to the palace.". The guard immediately walks into the palace as Jian Yuan and Fei Yun followed behind him.
Inside the Palace.
As Jian Yuan and Fei Yun enter the palace along with the guard, he saw a man sitting with a lady, they were having some kind of discussion. "Please wait here, I will inform Lord Liu Bei about your presence." the guard said to Jian Yuan and Fei Yun as he walk towards the man. The guard saluted him and whispered something in his ear while Jian Yuan and Fei Yun standing still, waiting with patience.

After all the paperwork today a guard came to Liu Beis side kneeling before him. He looked over wondering what was going on. ‘’There are two warriors to see you my lord’’ Liu Bei looked over towards the entrance and saw two warriors standing there. He nodded his head and the guard quickly went to fetch them.
As they walked in Liu Bei bowed before them and said ‘’Welcome to Shu, I am Lord Liu Bei what may I ask are you here for?’’ He said while he was in the process of standing to greet them.He had his hand out to shake both of their hands. He wondered why they were here what would they want. He had never seen these two people before in his life.
As he was waiting a response he took a swing of water and offered them both a drink of any kind. He didnt want his guests to go out on an empty stomach or thrist whatever their pleasure he was sure to facilitate.

Jian Yuan and Fei Yun looked at each other. The man was indeed Liu Bei. Jian Yuan think. Without wasting time, Jian Yuan and Fei Yun immediately kneel down and said together, "We are assassins of Tien Di Pai. We wish to served you, Lord Liu Bei, in order to bring down chaos and restore the peace of Shu Kingdom and other nations." The guard was shocked to knew that Jian Yuan and Fei Yun are assassins of Tien Di Pai, a group of assassins who kill those rulers and leaders who are wicked, corrupted and tyrannic. The guard immediately saluted Lord Liu Bei and said, "My lord, I've heard about these assassins existence. They are known as "The Assassins of Justice", for their strong sense of justice. This is an opportunity to bring the peace to our country, my lord!"

The woman smiled slightly and inclined her head to the Lord of Cheng Du. Thankfully this part had gone off without a hitch, though she was caught off-guard at the offer to stay the night. That was something she hadn't expected out of personal experience, though it only made sense that one made their guest comfortable, right? "Yuan Shao will be pleased to hear that you agree with our cause, Lord Liu Bei, and I am glad that I can inform him of our alliance as well."
She paused for a moment, mulling over her next words while pushing green-streaked bangs out of her face. "And the offer to stay is Appreciated, but I am afraid I cannot stay in your wonderful city tonight. Perhaps another time." Golden eyes rested on the man with not the demonic fierceness that some claimed to see, but rather warmly, if anything. She stood, ready to see herself out from the short, but fruitful meeting. "May the rest of you day be as productive, Lord Liu Bei."

It seems as if these assassins hae been heard from his guards untimely outburst but it was nice to know that they could be trusted and they both wanted to be in the service of his army.
He looked as if he was scanning them and it seems that checked all the boxes. He took another swig of water it was refreshing as his day had been action packed with the securing of an alliance and many officers willing to help him on his mission.
He finally looked at them It seems as if you are both great warriors. I would be more than happy to accept you into my army. He stood up and offered his hand to seal the deal he smiled and had his other hand with some more water. After all this work he need a rest a bit later on.

Inside the Palace After heard Lord Liu Bei's words, Jian Yuan and Fei Yun immediately get up. "It is our honor to serve you, Lord Liu Bei. If we bother you, I guess we will leave here right now." Jian Yuan said as he bow down, so do Fei Yun. After that, they were walk out together towards the entrance of the palace.
Outside Of The Palace As they walk down the hallway, Fei Yun suddenly approached Jian Yuan from behind. "Looks like we made the right choice, Jian. Lord Liu Bei indeed is a good man. Fei Yun said as she continue to walk. Jian Yuan chuckled a bit after he heard from Fei Yun's words. "I've told you, Lord Liu Bei is a person and a ruler that I mostly respected. And now, we have to find an inn first, so we have a good rest for tomorrow." Jian Yuan said as he smiles, so do Fei Yun.

((I figured if I was escorted here, they'd take me right to the palace, so...)) Sun Jian arrived at the Palace, escorted by about five guards. Sun Jian dismounted his horse, and as it was taken to the stable, he stretched briefly. He had ridded all the way from Nan Zhong, and was a little stiff from all the riding. then, he was taken up the stairs. His armor was suprisingly clean after the ride, and he saw a few people shield their eyes from the gleam the sunlight gave it. As he entered the palace itself, he took off his helment, and held it under his right arm.
As he approached the audience hall, he removes his naginata without asking; he knew how unsettling ti was to have people walk in ane expect an audience with you... with all their weapondry. As he walked in, he bowed respectfully.
"Lord Liu Bei, I, Sun Jian, ruler of Wu, come with good wishes from Wu. I also wish to propose an alliance between our two great nations if you are willing to hear."

As the guard was taking Zhao Yun into meeting Lord Liu Bei, another man asked entry as well but this man was no other than Lord Sun Jian of Wu. Wasting no time he immediately bowed ‘’Please this way Lord Sun Jian.’’ Taking them both in to the palace meeting area where Liu Bei was just finishing another batch of paperwork.
As the guard was close enough within speaking distance he bowed and said ‘’Master Liu Bei, two men asking to see you, One is young master Zhao Yun, the other Lord Sun Jian of Wu.’’
Not wanting to be disrespectful as he didn’t know that these men where about to come in he turned around and placed one hand into the palm of his other then bowing. ‘’Its is good of you to come, though? What brings you here to Cheng Du?’’ Asking as he was unsure why both of them were here

((I'll just repeat the speech from my previous post...))
"Lord Liu Bei, I, Sun Jian, ruler of Wu, come with good wishes from Wu. I also wish to propose an alliance between our two great nations if you are willing to hear." he said as he bowed. Then, as he stood, he looked the Lord of Shu right in the eyes.
