The main gate to the city. This is used for visitors to gain entrance and for the defenders to strengthen.
Gate = 0/600

To see his home again brought a smile to the face of Jiang Wei. To see his home devoid of the fires of war sent his heart soaring. He had rode on ahead of his army, driving his mount forward in an effort to reach the city before they did. His intentions were not that of a conquering warlord but of an envoy and Jiang Wei took comfort in knowing that this was his home city. He was someone the people could look to and recognize... of course he was not the only one but the theory was sound.
The difficulty came in the orders themselves. Jiang Wei had not been told to lay siege to Tian Shui in the event that diplomacy broke down and he found the idea of making war upon his home just as distasteful as seeing the city caught between two giants.
"I seek entrance to the city of Tian Shui as well as an audience with the ministers at the palace. Please inform them that Jiang Wei wishes to speak with them."

A man of infinite wisdom and intellect had come to serve the man who had convinced him to the extend that his vision was his own. He had his first assignment from him and it was to meet one of his own and strength the area in which he was ordered. He wasn’t a strong man he had the strength to kill when necessary but his staff was strong as poles which was also a good thing.
He got a messenger to run forth and greet this man whom he had met previously. He was said to be one of intellect on the battlefield. He had no need for a horse as he liked walking wherever he was his men were marching behind him in formation as he was in arms distance of the man.
Looking straight ahead towards the areas of Tian Shui a place that would soon be under conflict by the Horde & Glory forces one would come out winners and the others losers. Would the glory be defeated or the Horde banished back to the plains of Xi Liang.
Not looking at the man he said ‘’ battles are hard to determine, some are in it for strength and power others are in it for glory, recognition. Liu Bei stands up for a bit of both but he thinks of the people more. So knowing this do you still want to fight?’’ This was quite a serious question where would Weis standings lie within.
Looking at the young man, who had the world before him and also his life he said ‘’Excuse me for intruding, I am Pang Tong Shus military strategist under direct order of Liu Bei’’. He wondered if the man would recognize him as he had been out of action for some time now.

So lost in his memories was Jiang Wei that he failed to notice the approach of the Fledgling Phoenix until the fellow was standing almost beside him. Looking over at the fellow, Wei noted his somewhat stooped posture and humble looking staff but knew them both to be aspects of deception. The wizened man would be a true asset for them and would certainly make the council far more productive. "Master Pang Tong, I have heard many great things of you. Men of worth, men whom I look to for great wisdom and inspiration refer to you as the Young Phoenix. I must wonder, what it is that our Lord has planned? I was told to speak with the people of Tian Shui, but if I am unable to move them, I am to take the Ba Shui Gate. Have you been sent to oversee my endeavor?" Jiang Wei had not missed the earlier pontification Pang Tong had proposed, he had simply chosen to look past it. His perspective on battle was not relevant when acting under the orders of his lord.

(Sorry to double post)
The guards steadfastly refused him entry, and Jiang Wei could not blame them. Writing a missive down on a scroll, he kindly requested that the captain at the gate pass it along to the elders of the city and then turned back to his ally Pang Tong. In his letter, he offered greetings on behalf of Liu Bei of Shu and requested time in the future to be granted an audence with the council to present the city with an offer to join. It was unlikely the letter would reach its destination, but it was the best he could do.
"Master Pang Tong, I see no reason to drag our heels here. I will return to Ba Shui gate and begin fortifying it at once. I hope that we will meet again in the future. Good fortune and a swift journey be with you."
Jiang Wei is heading to Ba Shui gate to meet up with his army.
