Poetry is for gay people
That is what I would say if I was homophobic and a damn dirty Celt.
Sadly I am not so good at poetry It doesn't naturally come to me I ponder and wonder Tear my hair asunder Then I take a shit

I like poetry more than I like RPing, to tell you the truth. It's easier, and I'm better at it.

God I hate poetry.
Even though apparently people who love to read and write are supposed to be good poets.
Not me. >.>

Look, some TRUE poetry from Paul van Ostaijen during the 1920's. Not someone you probably have EVER heard about: BOEMThanks to poetry we have music. Thanks to poetry we know we are human. Cause what makes us different from animals? Have you ever heard an animal make music on purpose, cause he liked to hear it? Or because he had thought about an issue, became sad, happy or angry, and started to sing about it?

Then again do any of us know whether they do it just for instincts? Its fully possibly they have their own different methods of using their voices to make each other feel happy, sad or angry. Of course we cannot understand or comprehend how they might do such things.
Without Jesters we wouldn't have clowns, without clowns we wouldn't have squirty flowers, and that's what makes us different from animals, because what animal has a squirty flower?

Poetry can bring people into higher places. But if anyone disagrees with that, that person can have a perfect life, but still miss out on the beauty of some poetry. It's a very personal thing.
However, poetry is dead, which off course makes it even more beautiful for those who can appreciate it, while it is just one more reason to dislike it for those who can't.
