"Let me go, right now!" The Princess of Wei ordered as a guard held her back as she struggled. In her struggles a lot happened, items in the room smashed as their bodies hit them, things fell off from the vibrations and her annoyance was growing.
So what had started these events? Was it the fact she was not allowed to go to Wu to see her family? Possibly. Was it because she had to come back from war early? Not likely. Was it because Cao Cao was an unfaithful, vicious and dishonest person? Probably. Was it because she felt her love for him faltering? Definitely. So what was she going to do. It wasn't as if she could run back to Wu, if she did they wouldn't trust her, they wouldn't know what happened, and only her brother would give her the time to explain.
A bang was audible as Xiang slammed her right foot down onto the guard's left foot, making him yell in pain. However that wasn't quite as loud as Xiang's yelp as she was struck by the guard who gave her a backhanded slap to the face sending the former Wu Princess falling back onto the floor, where she stayed for a brief moment. Disbelief overtook her, she could not believe a guard would dare strike her, did he realise the repercussions he was going to get?
"I-I'm so sorry Lady Xiang!"
Sun Shang Xiang rose off the floor holding her face where the man dared strike her, giving him a most unholy glare. "Get out!" She shouted at the highest volume she could muster. When the guard did not budge she walked over to where she kept her dagger, the guard would know all to well where she was going and quickly fled.
She was used to having the odd slap from Mengde, but from a guard was beyond a joke. Things in Wei were seriously becoming aggravating for SSX, who wanted nothing more at the current moment to go back to Wu and reclaim her vacant position in the force. Yet she had this idea that no one would welcome her back, that everyone would be against her... She needed to build a bridge, and her only option seemed her brother.
She took a quill and some ink and quickly wrote a letter for her brother, all in the space of time she thought she would get away with before either Cao Cao himself strolled up the stairs to see what was wrong, or some servants came to see if she was okay. The problem was who would be brave and loyal to her enough to take it to Wu? She had no option for the moment but to hide it.
Then she heard it, the sound of footsteps up the palace stairs...
