History:
Zhao Yun was born in the Zhending, country of Changshan province around the year 168 AD. During as a little child, Zhao Yun and his elder brother work hard after the death of his parents. He also befriended two orphans in Zhending City, Jian Yuan and Fei Yun. Since after Fei Yun was adopted by a magistrate officer and Jian Yuan followed a Mohist to the School Of Mo in Han Zhong, Zhao Yun were never see them again.
Zhao Yun later joined the warlord Gongsun Zan around the end of 191 or the beginning of 192 as commander of a small group of militias. In 192 he was placed under the authority of Liu Bei, who at the time held only the rank of a major under Gongsun Zan, as a commander of Liu Bei’s cavalry forces. Liu Bei had a contingent of several thousand Wuhuan cavalry and Zhao Yun was put in charge of this force. Until then, Zhao Yun received a terrible news that his elder brother died due to a disease in Zhengding city. So Zhao Yun left Gongsun Zan and Liu Bei to attend his elder brother’s funeral soon after.
Zhao Yun originally served Gongsun Zan, but was drawn toward Liu Bei's ideals and personality. This is because Liu Bei had intervened in his battle with Lü Bu, saving him. He is a hero of the Battle of Chang Ban, where he saved Liu Bei's infant son from the clutches of Wei.
At the present, Zhao Yun was served as a military officer under authority of Liu Bei.
