Weapon One: The Crescent Spear!
Weapons Two: A fuckin' sword, who cares.
Personality: A man who makes men follow. Once said by Mengde 'you need a sledgehammer to gain the audience of the lords these days.' Sun Yuan Ci is a rare exception. His character and his demeanor, as well as his career on and off the battlefield, make him one who always has attention his way. However, he sees this as a curse, but is all but happy to take this curse upon him to use his skill with a blade to carve a new era of peace to his country, for the people who look upon him for protection. He is a poet in speach and writing... and in warcraft.
History: Sun Yuan Ci was born into wealth and royalty, the son of one of the Han Court's most esteemed officials. He once looked up to that man...
At a young age, the Han realized his strength even in childhood. Thus, many of the greatest generals of the Han trained him in warfare, many of the greatest strategists of the Han trained him in tactics, an he was taught the matrial arts by some of the finest teachers and fighters in the land. He was to be the shining star of the Han. However, as he grew up, he could see the corruption in the Han, and turned away from fame and royalty to keep his honor, something he was taught to never let go of from his mother, who died when he was young. The day he decided to abandon his duties to the Han and refuse service in their army, he was kicked out of the palace of Luo Yang, and that was the last time he would see the man for many years.
He grew up in Luo Yang. near the southern wall. He heard little of his father until Dong Zhuo came to power, his father being one of his strongest supporters. While an army rose against him, he remained idle in Luo Yang while Dong Zhuo rode out to meet them. After being assaulted by guards in the city for refusing to serve Dong Zhuo, he took up arms against them, gathering men along the countryside and at Pu Yang while also meeting his cousing for the first time, a man who would become his most loyal companion and greatest champion... along with his best friend.
The Sun Cousins arrived at an opportune time, while the allied forces advanced up the shoreline against a sturdy defensive, he arrived to completely decimate the western defense while the enemy general and feared warrior Lu Bu arrived to destroy the eastern advance force. He rode out to meet Lu Bu in combat, but was unable to reach him. Shortly after, as both forces regrouped, he displayed his military prowess by charging deep into enemy ranks with noone at his side, slaying countless of soldiers seemingly effortless. He was challenged by Lu Bu to combat, when he charged the man and leapt into the air, coming down in a valiant strike that was remembered by all in viewing distance and even was sculpted into statues around the major cities.
Sun Yuan Ci, a mere man who found a spear and a battle one day, not only matched the greatest warrior in the land, but also wound up drawing his sword to the man's neck. The two battled on after the battle ended, displaying courage and might and even stripping down to bare fists.
At the celebration for Dong Zhuo's defeat, Wei Yan dubbed Zhiyun 'The Man that Lu Bu Feared.' He was disgusted that day, however, in the egos and attitude of the lords who arrived. He knew that the peace they gained was only momentarily present. As soldiers brought out officials to be executed, Sun Yuan Ci noticed his father as one of them. After a brief dialogue with him, he opted not to kill him as he said he would have should the two ever meet again. However, he was not merciful. He did not kill the man, but he did not spare him. He knew not what happened, but was finally at peace with that inner-demon. He left the palace spurting insults at the many fuedal lords, calling all to look upon him as the "Face of Inspiration."
And so it was, he would indeed inspire many with his following deeds. After tracking a rogue group of remnant forces who flew the banner of Dong Zhuo to Xia Pi, he slew them all, and then rode north. There, he found the city of Ye sacked, burnt, and without hope. He miraculously brought Ye back to life, cleaning the streets and rebuilding the palace. His cousin, Sun Liao, convinced him to take up rulership of the city in Yuan Shao's stead, who was accused by few for burning the city himself.
Ye became the Phoenix City in all literal meanings. The western wall was lined with the graves of those who died. As the sun set to the west, the cemetery was a symbol of the sun setting on Ye that fateful day. The Eastern Gate was inscribed with the words 'To Those Who Mean Harm ~ The Phoenix City Stands Tall Above Thou' symbolizing the sun rising to the east, rising along with Ye for a second time.
He established the T'se Kingdom by result of a fable of a man who stood against a corrupt kingdom and created the T'se Dynasty, which was a representation of his own deeds in the current scae of the land. He fights on to this day for the peace, battling the likes of Ma Mengqi, who would tarnish the green fields with fire and ash.
