Just want everyone to know I am active, but I won't do a starting post until I know Dagoth is going to be here, I heard he may not be dueling, so I don't want to write a post for nothing

Sick and weak from my condition. This lust, this vampyric addiction. To Her alone in full submission
None better...Nymphetamine
Lands dissipated in a flash of light, revealing hollow shelled trunks behind an aether of black smoke where the fires of the once built campfire hissed in anticipation. The crowd had been subdued, although the cries for the victor was still heard among the shrouding darkness that enveloped the field. Two people would stand, two people would fight - for honour, courage, faith, greed and simple ambition. They fought here not out of spite, nor did they fight to gain such a thing as friendship - but only to take away the core of what existed in the worlds society, they came with no other purpose then to win.
Dagoth Ur was among those competitors with the sole desire to win, his dual swords arced around his flimsy wrists as they dragged uneasily over the soil that would soon act as his barricade. His opponent awaited somewhere beyond the shrouding darkness, waiting for the time to act - for the time to strike.
But it would all be to no avail, for no matter what lingered beyond those doors, nothing would get in-between him and his dreams. He would win this battle, be it through a sheer display of force or through trickery and deceit - he would ridicule this foe, he would toy with this foe, but nevertheless - he would destroy them all in due time. His first victim to fall was the bestowed Sun Shang Xiang, a female warrior from the southern districts - although rumour had had it that she now resided within the Wei Kingdom.
Still - it meant little to Dagoth, and as he awaited the replies of his first fight, he adorned his simple black robes, his armour being loose but well protecting if needed - his blades rested on his laps as his knees tucked under the heavier muscle of his thighs, he was sitting down, praying - no, he was humming, for strange words passed his lips, revealing a foreign language mixed behind words of what could only be recognised as words of pure hatred.
"Come FACE ME!" The crowd only paused when Dagoth's voice bellowed, the darkness now passing to reveal an open field with barricades and seats scattered around it's poorly built perimeter, but this was good - he didn't want a crowd to scream as his blades tore away the living soul of another, instead they could wait, anxiously to see who won, since only those two and the few scattered spectators would know right away.
"I said face me you incompetent fool, what do you think i am here for - to wait all day, if you have any last words i suggest you spit them out, because soon - you will be lying in a pool of your own blood,, and your soul Will do nothing better then to feed the hatred inside of me. So arrive already and lets prepare for a duel like you've NEVER seen before!"
OOC : No hard feelings, my character - since hes kinda dead will be played as a maniac who desires nothing but power, ambition and greed. if i die in any of the duels in this tournament, then my character will die for good and i will continue this tournament using Illith Nevar with the 2nd weapon set i posted in the sign ups.

Xiang had heard quite a bit about this so called undead warrior. Dagoth Ur was his name, but his stories and rumours did little but entertain her. She was in Wei after all, she already knew a crazy, bloodlusted and cruel monster by the name of Mortiss, so whilst dangerous she was well aware of what lay ahead, and she was unafraid, knowing that with such people came arrogance, and with arrogance came opportunity.
The darkness surrounded them, whilst most would freeze in place, feeling the adrenaline and shock creep into their systems she moved towards where she knew seating was placed for the spectators, and there she waited, arrogantly for proceedings to begin. Time drew on as she heard his voice, a slight echo about the words which to her were meaningless, until finally he erupted with a bellow as the mist begun to part.
She grew up in a very male orientated family of warriors and leaders, she feared no one. She showed just that as she checked her nails whilst the man begun his attempts at laying claim to the mental advantage, something he would never succeed in.
"I said face me you incompetent fool, what do you think i am here for - to wait all day"
With that said she lowered her hands, an eyebrow raising in a look of amusement and curiousity. Who did he think he was? Some kind of God of death or something crazy like that? He continued on his merry way as he babbled some more, again trying to use scare tactics and she merely sighed disappointingly, rising up out of the chair.
"Finished?" She asked, pulling the weapons out of their sheaths. Xiang prefered using one of her shortswords, but knew she would come across an opponent eventually who enjoyed dual wielding, and so she would use the extra weapon to combat that, knowing using one sword would leave her all too open for the quick second attack from her opponent.
"I'm so generous I'm going to let you have the first move, think of it as a present for being such a convincing bad boy." Cockiness? To a degree, but she was more trying to play on her opponents cockiness, make him do something he shouldn't, anything to gain the advantage.

Dagoth gazed hungrily into this womans heart, searching through the layers she had formed to find the weaknesses to her astonishing bravery, but it seemed to be all for naught - for it soon came to him that he wouldn't defeat this woman with tricks, but with instead skill. Skill that would push her to her limits, strive her to fight her best no matter what - he would play with this woman, and once he had enough satisfaction he would discard her, like a simple slave doing the bidding of their master. "You made two mistakes Sun Shang Xiang." His words pleaded out to her, although his masked expression revealed no truth behind his sympathetic words, "The first was challenging me to a duel and the second was letting me go first." He smiled mockingly, before revealing the two blades by his side, Ironheart and Decko. These two blades had consumed so much hatred in the last few decades - they had torn down families, butchered the innocent and thrived upon the rich and powerful. These were the blades of a night-walker, a man masked by the shadows that he is in fact engulfed within, but that was the simple necessity of life. People would live just as they would die - and who else was better then to remove life then he himself. After all, somebody had removed his life after all. "Say hello to the two swords of darkness!" He muttered his words quickly, showing his right sword, Ironheart before twisting his body so that his left sword, Decko came forth. The two blades were similar, although it was noticeable that his left sword was a good foot or so smaller then his other. Apart from those difference there seemed to be no separating their looks, and he used this fitting time to swing them into action, with nothing better then ... an attack! "You may be a strong foe, but strength alone will not win you this fight - i will put your body to the test my lady, i will push through every string, and play a melody of simple destruction!" He dashed forth then, running in quick - swift paces, his left foot dominating as it continued to lead the way, Sun Shang Xiang must have been no more then 6 spans in front, and that's all the time he needed to enjoy his time. Dagoth wouldn't stop moving, he had always fought with agility - and this time it would be put to the test. His right arm lead the attack, whilst he swirled his left sword so that it's hilt reversed, giving him a back-wards grip so that he could fight like a true assassin. His attack was simple, all he did was slash his sword in a diagonal movement from right to left, arcing the sword so that if it was to hit - it would tear apart the womans torso, leaving a scratch so deep that her true side would be revealed, quite literally. His left hand wasn't dead though, he used his more able sword to form a barrier around his torso, allowing the momentum of his attack to act as a defence should this woman try and deflect or counter his blow. meanwhile he would be ready with a defence/counter of his own - using a trick he had killed his own family with. The time was set, and the attack was upon Sun Shang Xiang, now only she could defy his wrath, and soon a true battle of emotion would unleash.
Steve's Commentary : Okay, a fairly simple attack if i don't mind saying so myself, it should be easy enough for you to block - but if my brain still isn't functioning properly due to my recent illness then just let me know if I've confused you at all. I'm not going to fight you with everything i have, simply because if i do i will most likely make a mistake, i can't even focus on writing so i;m in no state of mind to fight you with all i have. Still - with that aside i do still plan on winning so have fun, oh and remember, I RP more for story purposes then to force description on you, so i won't get arsy if you pull some odd moves since I'd find it interesting Good luck SSX

Who was this man? So dark, so unearthly. Was he some poor misguided youth made to believe in some strange faith or cult? Or was he a psychopath, believing he was some great unholy warrior, invincible and immortal? The possibilities seem to be drawn to these two, the down to earth Sun Shang Xiang would not so easily believe in rumours and stories.
"You may be a strong foe, but strength alone will not win you this fight - i will put your body to the test my lady, i will push through every string, and play a melody of simple destruction!"
These words from her opponent made her lips curl up in a satisfied smirk. "I like the way you announce my strength without me even lifting a finger against you. Already you're unconcsiously submitting, how it must pain you to admit your defeat so early on."
Immediately after speaking Xiang had to react to her opponent as a distinct movement showed his plans, he was going to come forwards. After a quick spring to gain momentum the man was advancing. Her eyes scanned for any clue as to his plans, and she gained it as the man's right blade arm moved to his side slightly, whilst his left took a more assassin like defence, the blade upside down. It was all Xiang needed to make her own move at the same time.
Taking a quick step behind to her left and preparing her blades by bringing them up towards her chest in a response. Quickly and with quite an amount of power for such a young woman she parried the blade to her right, using her right blade, with enough force it should by right sends the blade not only passing aimlessly past her, but also turn the man's body somewhat, taking the man's assassin like reply to her counter attack out of the immediate equation, her opponent by all rights would be left defenceless and at her sudden mercy, quite the turn up for the books.
She had a spare blade, that much would be known by Dagoth Ur as his momentum kept him moving slightly forward still. With that very blade still close to her chest she aimed it in a backhanded slash towards the top of his arm, aiming to dig deep into his bicep, ripping out tendon and muscle and by rights making that arm unusable, and potentially his eventual doom.
Was her attack a masterclass of speed, agility and strength all in one, or did it have some kind of weakness? She had made sure her body was far enough away, and her parry strong enough as to take the opponent's body momentum away from her, as to nullify the possibility of that assassin held blade from being used to stab into her chest. Whilst she kept her weapons close by for the possibility of needing a quick defence if her opponent was Wiley and potent enough to come back from her quick counter attack.

Nice move...where you been for the last few days, playing Soul Caliber lol. Anyways this attack may come as a surprise to you - but just so that you know - I actually did this move in real life, someone who isn't trained in warfare or experienced in speed and precision. So this move is 100% possible and therefore..legal. The downfall with this move is that I will be using everything you posted against you, meaning so long as your attack is in play - you cannot actually do anything. If this works correctly, this duel should be nearly complete.
What was this fools problem? what was it that forced her to try and change the wording in which he spoke so strongly with?
Well he didn't actually know the answer to that, but did it matter - did it fuck! He had it planned from the word go, and this pathetic attempt at a move was only the beginning of his master plan. For he had already seen it, the actions this duel would reveal by the simple set of eyes staring back at him, eyes that spoke of loneliness and arrogance. They were the eyes of true ignorance, of true pity - and who better to stare back at them then the face of death, yes - for his own eyes were not kind, they were far from kind, they seemed empty, loose - as if whatever made a human real was now long gone from this maniacs core. He was alone, shrouded by the darkness - and soon, this woman would join him.
His left hand loosened as he proceeded the attack, watching in slow motion as this womans right blade arced to sweep aside his blow, but it was all he wanted - that push, that drive. His left hand released, and he quickly and fluently swirled the handle back to its front, leaving it's sharp edge protruding out-wards so that he could use it soon. But this woman didn't finish there, she continued the push, sweeping the blade far enough to push his balance from her - again - he watched in something that couldn't be better described then in joy at how this was to work.
His left foot crunched the floor, slowly - yet in reality with a strength none had ever seen, everything went by so quickly, yet within his dark mind - it was slow, feeble, and this woman would soon realise this mans great ability, he could make shooting plans at an instance, and use whatever the enemy offered against them - as was the case right now.
His foot swirled almost instantly on impact on the floor, and his body, along with the womans sword only helped increased the momentum he needed, yes - he was spinning, so quickly that it would do nothing but dazzle this frightened woman as her own plan would backfire.
But it didn't end there, oh no - he crouched low mid spin, using the base of his foot as a spring so that he could swirl as he lowered his position, his left hand being thrown out to his side as he nearly completed his 360% spin so that he would face his opponent once again, but this time - the sweep she played would have done nothing, and her attack would reach no part of his body.
His right arm threw itself over to his side, allowing the sharp edge of his sword to offer a guard of protection against his entire front - whilst doing that, his own left hand swept across the air, slicing threw it like a sword would slice water in two. It glided - with no pressure, no worries, it was almost like the wing pushed it to it's target, and what was the target - it was the womans waist, and he would leave a large mark there from right to left in a clean line. if all went to plan she would be standing there, both swords occupied - whilst her innards took a trip to the fields on which they stood upon.
there was no avoiding logic, no avoiding defeat and her attacking blade only caused her trouble as it rammed against his own right sword. The move was complete - and the one person who made this move possible was indeed the woman to be greeted by it, Sun Shang Xiang.
