No Need for Fancy Introductions
The woman sat opposite of where her opponent was to enter, her legs tucked under her in the traditional fashion and her hands folded lightly on her lap. Both of the woman's weapons where nowhere to be seen, though they where on her person. She saw no need to give her opponent any time to analyze it... Her powers lay in surprise and tactics. Not to say that Xifeng wasn't strong, but when you couldn't beat them with brute force, there where other ways to turn it against them.
She knew this well, for many-a time before had the woman fought one on one with an enemy. The times before it, like right now, was always the best time to clear one's mind for what lay ahead. The dark-haired woman kept her eyes closed, focused solely on herself and emptying her mind. She would remain where she was until her opponent arrived.

The Ravager of Courage The air was lovely to say the least and the patch of land that had been chosen would give only the better duelist an advantage. Flat, grassy, cloudless sky, oh it would make for a great day! Then came the chestnut horse, it's mane streaked with red, but the most prominent feature was the rider it held. The warrior had his hair pulled back into a tight pony tail and his clothing was simple: loose and ragged. There was no armor to gleam in the sunlight, no special little ornament to show off brilliantly. Hell the warrior didn't even carry any weapons. There were two shields strapped to his thighs, but no swords... or spears... or axes! What did he plan to fight with? His horse!? Once within good range of his opponent, Wei Yan dismounted his horse, petting it's neck slightly before letting it go. "Don't stray to far, Sunset." came the faint command as the warrior made his way to the battlefield. As he walked his bones and popped while his muscles stretched. The ride had been fair, but never was it good to come ill prepared. So the warrior did a bit of stretching, nothing fancy, before finally brandishing the shields with a strong step forward. This crazed man planned to fight with shields!? What!? Heaven's rest his soul... "Xifeng Yue if I remember right? We dueled Lu Bu together. Glad to see strong opponents found this tournament. Are you ready to face The Ravager of Courage?" The warrior voice started soft and friendly, but by the end it was proud and blunt. With that Yan slammed both shields together, readying his arms for the vibrations to come. A slight roar ushered from his lips as he fell into a strong stance. His shields were out to his sides, almost like he had no weapon, or even idea of fighting. He just prepared to block anything that came within range. But that would be abandoned once his opponent realized the shine that reflected along the edges of the shields. They were bladed, and that sharp point on both sides showed true killing ability. Not only that, but the middle was thicker! These weapons were hear to do everything, bash, slash, and stab! "...Here we go..." whispered the warrior to himself. His own personal pep talk.

The Beautiful Devil said nothing as Wei Yan made his presence known, stretched, and carried on. She didn't even open her eyes to look at him. A blatant show of disrespect to the new lord? Was she trying to get a rise out of him, or could it of been she was so lost in her own thoughts that she hadn't noticed him? The Latter was hard to believe... Finally her eyes opened, her bright gold gaze taking in his personage, weapons, the area, and whatever else she thought might come in handy at a later time.
Xifeng's golden gaze locked onto him for one moment, and finally she placed a hand on the ground and moved one leg out from under her so that she was now kneeling. Her eyes never left the other man, even as her free hand slowly reached around to her back, fingers grasping Demon's Claw. Would she make the first move? Instead, the woman spoke.
"Wei Yan... Have you got your speaking out of the way? This is no social event," She said, a slight teasing tone in her voice. Would this be a friendly match, or would the woman aim to kill? You never knew with The Beautiful Devil. Slowly she rose, half closing her eyes and exhaling. She took her stance, one foot in front of the other that pointed straight out in front of her, the other right behind it, but facing horizontally, her heel of her right boot nestled against the arch of her left. One hand still remained behind her back, the other remained at her side, near her knife. "Are you ready to find out why I'm known as a devil?" She replied to his last question with her own, a slow smile that some would call seductive crossed her face. This is where it started ...

Come! Break Upon Me Like The Tide! A brisk smile whipped across the warriors face before nodding his approval to begin the duel. Then it was truly time to prepare! His stance shifted to fit the opposition. His left foot was put strong out front while his body shifted into almost a sideways position, putting his left shoulder to the front with his left foot. His right foot merely slid so that it was pointing towards the right, his left, at Xifeng Yue. Then his arms fell into place. His left was held out, the muscles tensed. It pointed at the ground diagnoally, covering the majority of the warrior's torso and thighs. Then the right was brought up beside the warriors face, the blade of the shield a mere inch away from his cheek. It was stern, muscles tight, and ready as it pointed at Xifeng Yue. "Very well, Lady Yue. Shall the Ravager and The Devil do battle? Ha! Make the move, Devil!" boomed the warrior his knees bending a bit to make ready for any movement necessary. his elbows also bending a bit, cocked and ready!

Xifeng smirked lightly at her opponet, pulling out Demon's Claw from behind her and removing ehr knife from her thigh holster. Her golden eyes half-closed as she assessed the situation one more time, looking for her advantages and disadvantages. She had armor on, while it seemed he did not... that would be handy if she could get past the shields... or just break them.
With a sudden movement that gave the other almost no warning, Xifeng moved foward with the speed and fluidicity of an Assassin, wind whipping her hair out behind her. With a simple movement of one arm, she tossed theknife up into the air in a arch, so that it would come down on Wei Yan blade-first. less than a moment later, Demon's Claw was forced to the middle of one shield, extending wether or not she hit. Two things could happen if Xifeng made contact; One, the shield held and Wei Yan was forced back, or two, the blade drove deeper into said shield and splintered, senice the one blade would split into three was her weapon extended.

The woman was up and moving, a shorter spear had came from behind her back and the knife off her hip. Two weapons that seemed less than a threat to begin with, but Yan was a seasoned warrior, everything was a threat to him. So he held his stance strong.
Then the woman was off and moving the knife going high, but Yan had guessed way ahead of time that it would be mainly for distraction. The spear came almost the exact same time, though the extending bits caught him off guard, Wei Yan's tensed muscles seemed to be readied almost perfectly. He'd been wondering how much moving he'd have to do, and this summed it up.
The warrior shoved off with his back foot, pushing himself right, as he went, he brought his left shield up, a diagonal rise, against the spear. He meant to redirect it, so the blunt of the force wouldn't be hitting the shield, nor would much force go into the spear. though as he moved, he spun... Forward? His left shield was brought around hard again and brought out infront of him, readying for any revenge that spear might be seeking, his right shield coming up and under from the right, diagonal up. The punching blade was more then long enough to clear any distance he'd not been able to clear, and if he was too close, the blades that covered the whole outside would just cut him a path to punch up into!
A roar ushered as the warrior made his attack. After the spin he stopped in an astoundly strong stance. His left shield ready to defend against the spear while his right did the attack.

The redirected spear stuck into the ground close to Wei Yan, continuing to extend even as the blades could no longer dig further into the ground. Accompanied with Xifeng's forward movement, it lifted the woman neatly off the ground in as move similar to a pole vaulter. To help her upward movement even further, she placed one foot firmly on the incoming shield and pushed off from it, the metal edge digging into the sole of her boot, but not doing any other damage, though her body weight might of pushed the shield down or off to the side.
Xifeng went with the movement, flipping so that she was momentarily upside down in the air before landing with bended knees, her hand manipulated so that she had never let go of her weapon, but had slid down it to halfway from the bladed end. Now behind Wei Yan, The Beautiful Devil took the necessary steps forward to kick the man in the back, dislodging Demon's Claw at the same time and bringing it up for a hip-shoulder angle of a slash.

A mobile warrior? Good enough, thought the now spinning Wei Yan. The push to his shield had given him more then enough momentum change to throw his weight into a full swing. The kick to his back would end fatally if his opponent didn't do something to stop her leg from exteding, for the right shield was now coming in swiftly, the blades on the side ready to dismember the foot from calf.
With the swinging momentum, and once his arm had either finished it's contact with the foot or swiped clean, he used the ending of his momentum to bring his left food around and slammed into position out infront of his body slightly. The stronger stance would provide what he needed for the next move.
Using his left foot, his front foot, to push off, the warrior brought his right shield down to block the incoming spear, all the while his left shield came in for a quick jab to the opponent's chest. It didn't matter if the block would miss the spear or not, for by the time the spear would be redirected or connecting, Yan would be too far up the haft to care. A blunt whack against his body wouldn't slow him now. No, not when the muscles along his shoulders, biceps, forearms, and chest, were beginning to expand from the adrenaline. It was a enough now that small slits were seen opening up on the skin, where the skin was ripping from the inside out.
Blood trickled against the the skin and even onto the shields as they moved and tossed little straggler drops here and there. Most of all was his garb. The ones on his chest were tearing faster due to all the use they were recieving and therefore his aquamarine base garb had become a dark teal color with a faint red hue.
"Horaah!"
