Ba Zeng, the famed Han Diplomat and Strategist, was believed to have been at Chang Sha under the command of the Morag Tong, the assassins guild. In fact there is eye witnesses confirming that Zeng was definitely there. Oddly enough the Yuan's have not found the witty Ba Zeng. Instead, his clothes have been found in an alleyway, along with a dead Yuan soldier, naked, having his clothes being taken from him.
Putting two and two together people have came up with the theory that Ba Zeng went under disguise as a Yuan soldier and escaped through the underground Morag Tong tunnels in the Chang Sha palace. Interestingly, the tunnels were used very recently, collapsing an entire section of the palace, including Ba Zeng's former room.
Some people do not believe that Ba Zeng did actually do that, seeing as that would require a lot of cunning and bravery.
Oh wait? Ba Zeng? Really?
Well maybe that is the case.
The escape tunnels, revealed in Morag Tong blueprints, are supposed to lead to Ling Ling, a city once a busy place filled with Morag Tong activities.
If Ba Zeng is still alive, he has not shown himself yet.

Word is spreading rapidly that Shu officers have been sighted on both sides of the Battle at Qing Ni Pass. The people are confused as to why Liu Bei would act in such a manner. Was he helping the Golden Horde who had just forced Glory from Chang An? Was he aiding the allies with one hand to secure alliances but stabbing them in the back with the other?
Some now think that Zhuge Liang or Jiang Wei was behind the rockslide attack! Needless to say, many things needed answers that would just not be known until some time in the future.

Post by Liu Shan on Aug 17, 2008 5:19:08 GMT -5
Glory through Golden Hordes As the battle rages on, there are people who speak of success on both sides; some even believing that the great Lords who came to face Ma Chao will lose. However, the word spread like fire within a forest that Liu Shan had arrived to help; the supposed retard who was known for be nothing but a child. Speeches of good praise now fell upon the young Liu, for so many years people believed him to be this spoilt brat that had no future to hold... Everyone flocked to pay sympathies to Liu Bei for being tainted with such a son.Oh how times change. The villages of which the corrupt gives the truth As the retreat of Liu Shan spread, many people concerntrate onto the condition of the small boy..."I hear that it was Zhang Fei trying to kill Liu Shan that made the simpleton faint""That poor boy, treated so harshly by his own father""Liu Bei should be punished for beating his son"It took no intellect to figure out where these possible rumours came from. Every town that this man went he left people questioning Shu in his wake. The very man who was attempting to bring the downfall of Shu, the Eunuch and self-proclaimed protector of Liu Bei's son, Huang Hao. Not many people knew of this man, though his influence was becoming perhaps too strong for a Eunuch without rank or status."Shu should repay for what they have done to Liu Shan, lashing his brains out as a child... How could any parent do that?""Liu Shan's future is ruined thanks to his own father""Some ball-less man told me that retard was not to blame, it was that Liu Bei, whoever he is... Anyway, I would like to teach him for giving his son such a crappy life"Though of course, the Eunuch was known to not focus everything upon the happenings of Liu Shan and Liu Bei; all was a chance to elovate himself into the light of the people. "I've been told that Huang Hao gave everything to Liu Shan, while his father gave him nothing...So he wasn't spoilt after all, that was just rumours spread by Shu to keep Liu Bei in the good light; what a jerk.""Is Huang Hao a eunuch? Oh god! I touched his shoulder, am I going to lose my balls too?""Some say that Huang Hao is the most corrupt man on earth and his power over the Liu simpleton is becoming evermore powerful by the day."Huang Hao was intelligent enouch to keep him and Liu Shan's whereabouts secret, not allowing anyone to know where they were; especially when the rumours were being spread so fast.. It would mean his life would become increasingly in danger, attempting to get Liu Shan once they may come back not for the boy but for the Eunuch... Without him, the hold on Liu Shan would break. However, the only piece of information known is the desire of Huang Hao wanting to join Sun Yuan Ci, the Lord of T'se. Wandering the land in the shadows so not to be detected, the corruption against Shu shall always be spread no matter the consequences for Huang Hao; following him like a purple cloud.. Every word spoken by him, people knowing that it was going to be and soon recognising him as the most hateful person towards Liu Bei..But, surely he would not fabritcate, so it all must be true?..

There are rumours about that Shu leader Liu Bei offered Ma Chao his aid during the battle at Qing Ni pass. This has supposedly left many of the coalition leaders unsettled, and people are saying there are plans being made for a combined assault on Shu once Ma Chao has been dispatched.
Shu's lack of aid in the battle has only worked to strengthen these rumours.

An Infantry Detachment can be seen roaming the Shu Countryside, Burning villages in the name of the Xiongnu, and Zhao specifically. They murder all, Slaughtering livestock in an attempt to damage the Economy of the area. They voyaged up and down the Countryside and the border, Soon heading South. The journey was long, Crossing into the Nanman-esque regions and continuing East, their journey into the lands of Yuan Shao.
Their arrival into Yuan Shao's lands wouldn't be that pleasant, as Villages burned to the ground and the air smelled of death. Zhao banners flourished throughout the Infantry, Was it to be considered a declaration of war? Maybe. But it was the Warband's way of saying Hello.
Meanwhile Dai Xiang proclaims himself King of the Xiongnu, sending messengers into the Northern and Southern territories of the Xiongnu to pull all those willing to follow him into China. Slowly they descend from the West, How many more Xiongnu shall come ? [[ when I get the next paycheck they will =D ]]
Dai Xiang also calls out to all of China's willing to send them Men and Gold, and they'd be spared from the wrath of the Xiongnu Hordes.

The Rumor of Yuan Shao's Sickness is, just in fact, a rumor, as any Yuan officer will tell you. They might even insist while giving off an uncomfortable aura and looking shiftily around. But 'tis only a rumor...honest...
*Crosses fingers*
In other news, Xifeng has become (even more) distant to those from the kingdom she serves, with recent events and plans that remain only known to their officers, as well as their sudden retreat from the battle against Ma Chao. What could possibly be bothering her? She might not of been a social butterfly, but all the same...
Something is amiss, she can feel it- And it's shaken her to the core.
Elsewhere, villages burn, crops die, people who stand up against invading forces that are obviously more than bandits are killed. One young man flees his ruined home in search of his sister...
What will the consequences be when The Beautiful Devil finds out that Shun Jhi has been burned down to the ground?[/i] [/color][/blockquote]
