Sun Jian nodded. "My thoguhts precisely, Wu Sheng... Jian An is necessary for our expansion. Wu Sheng Tian, Huli... claim Jian an in the name of Wu. After Jian An hasbecome one with Wu, I believe... a banquet may be proper to celebrate our recent expansion. Wu Sheng, we can discuss these details later." he said as he eyed his new officers carefully.
"... It seems Wu is quet the force. Tigers, Wolves, Foxes... a perfect mix of strength, speed, and cunning. I have great hopes for this Kingdom... great hopes for every single one of us. We shall find glory together, my friends. You are dismissed." Sun Jian said, nodding to Wu Sheng Tian and Huli. They seemed to have taken a liking to each other already.
Good. Teamwork would be vital if Sun Jian was to unify this land.

Pfft. Tigers. Wolves. Foxes. fail
Xiongnu for the win?
It seemed as if he had fell into a void after becoming one of Wu's generals. He stood there listening to the claims of Wu Sheng Tian and Huli, The two clicking as if they were 'soulmates'. " Hmph. " He sighed heavily, He needed to prove himself to Wu as to show them he was serious of his employment into thier kingdom. He could take land to the south, west or north...But he was on a new perspective. He wasn't going to risk the lives of his men to prove that he is worthy of being a General of Wu. He is a Xiongnu Warrior, and thats all he will be until the day he died. " Lord Sun Jian, where am I needed? My men are restless, this has been a long journey, and a Battle should liven them up. After all, thats what my people are known for.." A small smile crept upon his face, He wanted to outmatch the other generals within the kingdom, especially the two newcomers that arrived around the same time he did. They were talkative, and Xiang began to doubt they could hold their weight on the field. He felt spitting on them, but none-the-less he'll insult them. " Their is no need to bring Chinese to do battle, when the Xiongnu excell in that area. Your other two friends can sit back while I do all the work, My Lord. After all, I am the King of the Xiongnu, I know my people well. " Even though his small little speech was kind of insulting to everyone in the room, It was true in his eyes. Even hinting that he was the King of the Xiongnu would make it seem as if he had an ego. Pfft, as if he was trying to be friendly with any of them. This was notihng more than a job to him, and he would stay loyal to his employers, not his associates.

Waking the Demon
Wu Tian listened to Lord Jian’s words before being stomped by the presence of this, other warrior. He was a fair man, large and foreign, yet in his eye rested unrest, that and – what was it - Apathy? Wu Tian wasn’t positive what it was he could see, but it lingered there for some time before his voice echoed throughout the courts, it – or whatever his voice portrayed being strong – firm yet lacking a positive resolve. “Do you smite me?” He had said - his voice firm, and his eyes cold. Nothing else but the fearsome growl he offered was shown upon his face, he had paid close attention to the man’s words – noticing instantly the lack of resolve behind them, noticing that in a way, he was overcome by sheer emotion. This man was a fool, (for who would dare insult the Chinese in their own country). “You speak as if the Xiongnu have something worth boasting about – yet must I remind you already that the Xiongnu are not superior in this land – in my land.” He spoke with a similar distaste as this warrior had done, knowingly acceptant in the fact that maybe, just maybe he’d over-stepped his marker. He was a Prime Minister yes, but referring the land as his own was (at times) a punishable offence, sometimes even by death. He sighed. “I have heard a lot about you ...” He paused to recall a name, and then sighed when nothing came to mind, even the reports hadn’t spoken his name – and he called himself famous, at least Huli was a known hunter. “General, I heard that you engaged combat against Yuan Shao – and retreated when Xifeng Yue came to assist her liege and master. You walked into a battle with a full set of troops, and left the battle weakened with nothing to prove for your prowess – why, if you don’t mind me asking. Do you then insult the court, I fought a great battle at Qing Ni pass, slaying as many enemies as i could and saving the lives of other allies – I fought death in the face and won. What have you achieved to boast your excellence and to insult the people of this land. You walk among Wu, do not think Lord Jian is the only man you will HEED.” His growing anger became evident, something he knew Huli would understand. All predators and hunters became offensive when their territory was invaded, and Tian felt as if this – general was here to invade his territory. “I am the Prime Minister of Wu, and you will LEARN your place, by the heavens of this land – you will learn it, in one gruesome way or another.” He turned to Jian, his rage calming steadily as he embraced himself. He was a Prime Minister, he had repeated within his head, enough until signs of his anger became less apparent. He then turned to his chair and took its place, above this general. “If you are so eager to waste your life, to try so hard to prove your point - then I have just the job for you. Follow me and Huli to Jian An, but do not stop – continue your path south until you get to Nan Hai, take that land, for the sake of your Xiongnu warriors – for the sake of Wu. Do this and you will earn a place of high titles, where anything you desire can be yours, but fail in this small task – and know that the Xiongnu have failed by your hands.” He smiled gently, his eyes flicking to Lord Jian – praying he’d go along with this test, after all – a Tiger was far more vicious when insulted then a mere wolf. “Take Nan Hai, and take whatever spoils you desire after. Then your previous statement will be ignored. You fail Wu here – and you will learn just how strong China’s resolve can truly be.” He had finally finished, turning now to Huli before lifting himself out from the chair, “We will march as soon as I’ve prepared the troops, so follow my lead Fox.” He turned then, leaving the council halls and walking along the corridors before finding sunlight just up ahead.

Sun Jain smiled lightly. "Meng Xiang, the Prime Minister has given you a task which, if successful, would prove your worth to Wu. You wish to show your strength... then let Nan Hai be your testing grounds." he said, looking at Wu Sheng Tian. He had a bite, and was already exerting his authority. Good. It showed Sun Jian that Wu Sheng Tian meant business.
"Meng, I would offer you troops, but I believe that the Xiangnu warriors will be sufficient in taking Nan Hai."

Bah. Uppity Chinamen.
This is what came across the mind of the young Xiongnu King. " Hmph. Head South, Conquer the land of Nan Hai? I won't need to follow you and your little lacky over there. I'll be back within two weeks, and the city shall fly Wu's banner in that time. " He proclaimed, a small smirk crossing upon his face. He took the finely made wooden shortbow he carried from his back, Holding it tightly within his hand as he bowed towards Sun Jian. He turned towards Wu Sheng with the same smirk on his face. " Farewell to you also. I'll make up for the defeat at Chang'An with a victory at Nan Hai. Oh, and don't worry, I'm going to call in some rienforcements from the Southern Tribes of the Xiongnu. I'll make sure they'll... 'aid' you at Jian'an. And to you lord Jian, take all those Chinese Infantry natives. They were the reason my General lost at Chang'An. " He chuckled, walking out of the throne room as if he was the shit. My my he did like Wu Sheng, Someone who would actually throw quite the threat at him, without dieing. He felt as if he could back up his threats, and Xiang felt he could back up his promise.
As he left the city walls he ordered the Chinese Infantry into the city and towards the barracks. He gathered up his Calvary and trotted off infront of them. " We shall take Nan Hai in two weeks! " He yelled out, which was then repeated by the liutenants within the ranks of his men. He raised his bow into the air, and Meng Lein made his way besides him. The ground shook from the thunderous hooves stomping the ground, his men chanting 'Victory for the Xiongnu! ' in thier native language raising the morale among the men. They rode south, estimating they'd arrive within a few days at thier speed. " Bah, Uppity Chinamen think they're the strongest. I came upon this continent like a Lion! I'll show them...I'll surpass them all. " He thought to himself, his thoughts directed at Wu Sheng rather than anybody else in particular.
The Pure-Xiongnu Horde rides South to Nan Hai. Meng Dai Xiang proclaims he shall take the city within Two Weeks, and promises that to his lord and Wu Sheng.

Through the doors came a man worthy of praise from the noblest of men. Through the doors of the audience hall came a man who had seen death, and spat in its face. He had felled two of the most ferocious warriors china had ever seen... in the course of less than one hour. He wore his pride like a suit of armor, and his honor was like a helmet on his face. Zhou Tai had returned from battle.
And the first thing he did was bow to Sun Jian.
"My lord, it is... unbelievable to see you again. I trust you've been well? he said as he stood and continued to walk forward.
Sun Jian did not answer right away. he slowly stood, looked Zhou Tai in the face... and applauded him. The sound of his clapping rung through the audience hall of Jian Ye, and slowly, all the servants around began to join Sun Jian in his honoring of Wu's National Hero.
"Master Zhou Tai... it is with great honor that I applaude you. In my absence, I feared Wu may fall... but you held it up on your shoulders. You held it up when Sun Ce went missing. you held it up when Sun Shang Xiang turned traitorous and left Wu for Cao Cao. And you held it yet, even when facing against Ma Chao and the Qiang. And Wu has prospered. Sun Ce has returned, we are larger than ever... it is with honor that I am able to be in your presence once more." he said ashe knelt to Zhou Tai and bowed. As he stood, he motioned to the man on his right.
"I am not sure if you have met Wu Sheng Tian yet, but he is the Prime Minister of Wu. Sun Ce, the Armies' General, will work under you as a second-in-command, Master Zhou Tai. It is with great honor we dub you the Imperial Field Marshal of Wu."
Zhou Tai was speechless. Although he had never been low in rank as an Officer of Wu, the Imperial Field Marshal... he was, literally, third in command of Wu. Of course, it was a few steps down from Ruler... but he would not complain. He was about to bow, but Sun Jian cut him off.
"Master Zhou Tai, please, do not bow to me. Wu is not worthy."
"Sun Jian, I... am honored. You do me to much respect. I simply performed the duty any officer would. I am, and have always been, at your service." then, he bowed respectfully to Wu Sheng Tian. "We would do well to become aquanted, Prime Minister... I forsee us working together in the future."
Zhou Tai had never heard of this man before, but... for Sun Jian to take so quickly to this man, he was automatically fitting of Zhou Tai's respect.

Wu Sheng had received his orders, and had just finished gathering his stuff when the palace doors swung open. Revealing from behind what looked like a deep sheet of mist a dark, yet shadowing officer, that must have stood at least 6 feet 3 in stature, maybe more (maybe less). The towering figure was later revealed to be one Mr. Zhou Tai, a general – or rather, a commanding officer, that had just returned from his battles with the Qiang. Wu had heard of his exploits yet – had remained upon the right flank of the second engagements, so he had unfortunately missed the chance to see his frenzied attacks (or crazed attacks as the allies had said that following night). Still, it had been a battle won nonetheless, and the Prime Minister of Wu took a few steps back, so that his feet rested just in front of his appointed chair. Next came the commotions, and Wu Sheng bowed low when Sun Jian had, offering his respects to the general, and then said, “According to my reports, there should be a banquet within my former homeland of Tse, in celebration to the allied victory.” He turned to Zhou Tai, his face as blank as it always was when dealing with official business. “I feel we will work very closely in the future, but for now – why don’t we attend this banquet, it’s about time people realised the strength of Wu, no?” He smiled as he finished, and then took his seat upon the chair that was assigned to him. Maybe, he had thought – with a bit of luck Wu would do well, luck and of course skill (but that’s so fucking obvious it wasn’t worth mentioning...right?)

"You bring up a good point, Wu Sheng. We shall go to the banquet immediately. Zhou Tai, til I return I leave Wu in your capable hands."
((Wow... amazing, right? I have personal business to take care of this upcoming week, so I won't be on much.))

Time moved quickly whilst Sun Ce had been in Wu. He was now no more than a twisted shadow of his former self. Tricks, ploys, devious and vicious ideas ran through his head at almost passing minute, and with his mastery of deception and lies, not even his father knew of the evil that was now his son. He was no longer the good natured, fun loving Sun Ce everyone thought him to be, he was a dangerous, psychological killer, who loved striking fear into people he disliked.
Most would say it was Sun Jian at the height of power within Wu politics, yet there was a dark shadow over the halls of Jian Ye as behind the scenes Sun Ce manipulated proceedings in his subtle ways. As soon as any group threatened to rebel against his father, they would promptly be given a reason not to, whether this involved their lives being threatened, their loved ones, or simply money involved, there was never a consistant method of doing things.
He was a darker version of a Sima Yi in Wu colours, a man who struck a mighty blow with his sword, commanded troops with organisation and power, delved and played with the minds of his underlings, yet few knew of his hidden talents and dangers, few knew the peril that could soon befall them.
"I appologise most inistantly Lord Sun Jian, I did not mean to trouble you yesterday. Rest assured we are quite happy with the current arrangements in our farmlands and will not bother you until a more pressing issue shows it self."
Sun Ce watched on as he stood watching from the side, the farmer quickly turned his head to see the man he so feared in the corner of the room. Ce had no noticable change of expression to what he usually had, he looked interested, but not too much, yet for the farmer it was a deep, piercing stare that reinforced his obedience towards the Wu Prince.
"Ah very good! I am so pleased you have come to your senses, after all we need stability in these times, and what better stability can we have as a country, than a firm economy? I dare say my father will think like wise?" Sounding as energetic and youthful as he always did Sun Ce spoke freely and soon afterwards gave a turn to see what his father had to say in the matter at hand.
