*3 days of hard riding after leaving Wu's Borders*
As loud, thunderous hooves crashed upon the stone leading towards the gate, Zei Fang rode his magestic and powerful steed. "I am Zei Fang, embassador of Wu. I am entering your city whether you like it or not." Zei Fang said as he rode passed two lowly guards. He made sure they could see his weapon in case they decided to challenge his authority in the manner.

Hao Zhao having a few days ago decided to find a Lord worthy of serving in this time of chaos had found himself arriving oh horseback to the gates of Xu Chang where he was hoping to meet with the first Lord he had decided to visit Cao Cao and see whether or not this man was worthy of his services or just a simple fool who would soon fall in this chaos. From ontop of his horse he addressed the guards at the gate.
"My name is Hao Zhao. I have com here to seek an audience with this Lord Cao Cao." With that said he also made to hand over his spear to the guards "I am perfectly aware that there is every chance you want all weapons handed over before you even think about allowing me entrace so theres my spear."
With that he simply sat and awaited a reply.

The guards around the gate were rife with ever flowing gossip; the news that the great Ma Chao of Xi Liang was beginning his descent on China unsettled many, yet excited others. Finally, they would have their first taste of blood! They missed out on the opportunity to slay the villainous Dong Zhuo, but perhaps soon they could take the belligerent Ma Chao’s head as a crown. Their thoughts soon changed back to the present day however, as a new warrior approached the gates seeking audience with the lord Cao Cao. It was a welcome change for the guardsmen, whom had dealt with unending streams of officers simply storming into the city without permission. Taking the man’s weapon, one of the guards quirked an eyebrow at the level of respect this person had, as well as an understanding of the current chaotic times. Clearing his throat, he welcomed this newcomer.
“Cao Cao’s in the main palace working on plans, though he may have time for you. Go ahead.” This said, the guards stepped back, and allowed passage to Hao Zhao. The streets were glimmering in a dull sunset, the roads lit up in a pathway to the magnificent palace of Xu Chang. There inside, Mengde awaited, ever plotting and ever scheming the future of all the souls of China.

With a swift nod of his head as a mark of respect he rode on horseback into the City through the gates.

Several hours before Cao Cao's march to Chang'An.[/i]
Yuan Shao came up the path, nothing but a small fleet of men and a woman with him. Despite their number they looked quite impressive in their fine armour, upon of their matching horses. Yuan Shao wouldn't send a large army to help those who he did not know in Chang An, like any sane man in his position. He'd be damned though if he didn't send a fine one, though. And after all, he was leading it, his finest officers just behind him. The heroes of the battles with Dong Zhou, riding up the pathway to Xu Chang to fulfill the bitterly vengeful wishes of Cao Cao. It was a beautiful sight.
Once within range Yuan raised up on his steed and spoke firmly out to the gates, "I, Yuan Shao, hero of Chang Sha have come at once upon lord Cao Cao's call to arms. I seek admittance with the Lord to learn further of his cause and recall of older times."
He waited, smiling in his armour.

The once fearful and melancholic guards were now overwhelmed with a sense of arduous duty and patriotism to their lord, as the letter to rally against Ma Chao had already been sent out. Soldiers remained at their stations, but were filled with a sense of vigour and passion, rarely stood still as the real army were gathering supplies for their march. Soon their attention was drawn to a small band of men, commanded by none other than the old relic that was Yuan Shao. Lord Benchu indeed made an impression with his fine armour and calls to speak nostalgic memories with the Wei lord; nodding, the guards stepped aside, and allowed the man passage.
“Your officers and your soldiers can wait here, lord Mengde and the palace is too busy for all of them to enter.” The captains words were intended to be humble and reverent, hopefully Benchu would be aware that mincing words, albeit something Cao enjoyed, is not what any man had time for at the present moment. The pathway was open, and Yuan Shao of Chang Sha could finally meet with an old friend, Cao Cao of Xu Chang.

Yu Jin perched on his horse strode in to a halting stop pulling the horse's reigns as it stopped and slowly trotted. His eyes pierced the sky as he eyed the castle of Xu Chang a most beautiful structure built for the greatest of kings. Strapped on his horse was his weapon and he quickly looked around for guards so that he would be able to gain entry. He had come a long way to see Lord Cao, but he knew it had been worth it Lord Cao was a reknowned lord in the land and he knew Cao would make use of the meager abilities of Jin. He saw two guards striding slowly and trotted up to them.
"I am Yu Jin of Juping, Far and wide I hear tales of Cao Cao's heroism. Now today I come to see if what is rumored is true and to possibly gain entry to serve him."
