**Since you arrived like way back when, we'll act like this happened before I left for Xi Liang, agreed? Good!** An odd smile crossed the warriors face as he rose from his simple chair that'd he backed away from his map covered table. Just looked up and nodded politely, before continuing to scour through the maps, randomly marking things here and there. "Master Tactician Ji-Huang Liang! I've been awaiting your arrival!" proclaimed Wei Yan as he walked up extended a firm arm to the man. "The city of Chang An is a much brighter place with such a promising man in it!"A few pleasent chuckles came from deep within Yan's belly as he pointed to a few of his guards. "Get us a jug of wine and a pitcher of tea. Bring beef and chicken. We have quite the guest in our home." With that he ushered back over to the table and helped Lu Rai remove the maps and such, leaving it clear. Still holding his large smile, the warrior grabbed another chair and brought it to the table while a few guards placed plates of beef and chicken, along with cups for the jugs of wine and pitchers of tea. "Please, Master Tactician, come! Eat and drink your fill, much has gone on since last we met at Luo Yang!"

**My Bad for being late. RL stuff came up @_@**
Liang smiled and tapped his Lieutenant's shoulder who stood, bowing once to Wei Yan, his eyes widening at the mention of wine and beef.
"Such a warm welcome Lord Wei Yan, surely you aren't attempting to tempt me into something are you?" He chuckled, obviously kidding before stepping up towards the table, as Sen Acare looked around, bringing a chair to the table of his own free will and sitting beside Liang. "I trust you do not mind that I brought along my Lieutenant? After all, without him I would still not be alive you know."
One might almost consider the relationship between Liang and Acare to be a relationship shared among brothers, as one completely complimented the other's abilities. Not only that, but their personalities as well. One could tell that Sen Acare was an incredibly energetic and eager young warrior, whereas Liang was a conserved and analytical Tactician.

***No apologies needed! Things happen. The game never comes first, friend.*** Wei Yan laughed before taking the jug of wine up and pouring himself a cup, along with Lu Rai. He then nodded a bit. "Yes! What kind of lord would I be if I didn't try to bring the best officers to help his people?"Even Lu Rai had to laugh a bit. It was an odd thing. When Yan was comfortable he could debate with Kongming himself and possibly win, but out of place and he was like a wolf backed into a corner. He'd snap at anything brought to close. "Offended? No! You and your friend are both welcome in my humble home. I would expect you to allow Lu Rai into yours. I think you are I are one in the same when it comes to our companions. There are no secrets and no un-enterable places, yes?" Yan was starting to enjoy talking to officers that visited his city. Yes he already had two very adept officers, but only one was any type of Strategist, Lu Meng. And even he was more famed for his blade than his mind. "So how have you been? As you can see I've been in quite high spirits since Dong Zhuo's fall. Quelled a rebellion here in Chang An and the people turned me into a leader, the heaven's are very odd in their movements." joked Yan as he patted Rai on the shoulder. Still in good spirits the warrior took a large bite of beef.

((This is a simple transition post from place to place, so don't mind if I RP one of Chang An's guards, please.))
*It was a new day. Not in the essence that the sun brings a new day every time it rises from the east. No, it was new day in the essence of a change in the land. A change in the eras. Sun Yuan Ci had been noted for mentioning the fact that it is always darkest just before dawn, a fact about the night, and a fact about the state of the land. It was hard to tell whether the dawn had broken upon the country yet, or if it was still nightfall, still awaiting the darkness to enshroud it before the sun's rays could break into dawn. Dawn... which would be the era of peace that Sun Yuan Ci had dreamed of.*
*A change of eras. From Dong Zhuo's era, to the feudal lords' era, then to the era of Zhiyun's vision. For the time being, the land was still controlled by multiple feudal lords, but with an alliance in the east, that era was destined to fall in the coming years. Any lord to rise against Mendge and Zhiyn was both foolish and corrupt, and would surely be bested by the mighty of Zhiyun and the tact of Mengde. Together, they combined to create a vision for the people to look at with optimism. But two men were not enough to completely change the land. With that in mind, Sun Yuan Ci sent an envoy, led by the poetic warrior Liang Xun, to Chang An. To Wei Yan.*
*He remembered the words clearly. It was a Luo Yang, in a celebration surrounded by conceded generals and officials, Wei Yang and Sun Yuan Ci spoke to eachother, and together they formed a cause that was worth fighting for. This cause was ran through Cao Cao, and now it would summon Wei Yan, who rested comfortably in his position in Chang An. He had risen as a hero of the land, one of the few men who were looked as such and could live up to the reputation. Cao Cao, Sun Yuan Ci, and Wei Yan. This would be the honorable triumvirate that would purge the chaos from this country. With this intention in mind, Liang Xun and his small envoy entered Chang An, making their way to the palace. At the entrance, Liang Xun approached a guard, mounted all the while.*
"I am Liang Xun, envoy of Sun Yuan Ci, and of the T'se. I come under terms of peace. My blades are sheathed at my back, and so there they shall remain through the duration of my visit. If Wei Yan is present, it is for the good of the land and its people that I hold audience with him."
"Wei Yan... not here... He go... Xi Liang!"
*Liang Xun was distracted by the odd speech of the guard, who spoke quite a bit like Wei Yan in Dynasty Warriors, but thank god not like the Wei Yan who ruled the city. However, when he returned to his senses, Liang Xun tensed up. He spit at the ground, clinching his fist.*
"No..."
*He spoke the word quietly, but as he continued to speak, his volume and anger increased.*
"No... no, no, NO! Men, with the speed of the gods! We ride to Xi Liang!"
*Liang Xun had heeded the warnings of Sun Yuan Ci, and his master's fear of the rider of the north. Wei Yan was a key to Zhiyun's plan, and if he was to be tricked into Xi Liang to be slain, then the land would be one true hero short. Liang Xun still had a gaping gash in his left thigh from when he challenged Sun Yuan Ci and was bested in combat, and that was the reason he rarely left his horse when he was forced to travel. Walking became difficult, as his limp both slowed him down and attracted attention. He rode at a slow pace, as each rise and fall of the horse shot a sharp pain up from his leg. Now, however, he cared not. He sped out Chang An, turning northwest to Liang. He used both legs fully to kick his horse in order to propel it to new heights of speed. He stood up, rising his body a few feet over the saddle, leaning forward while gritting his teeth from the shot of pain, but now prepared for whatever was in store at Liang. Perhaps it was not an assassination attempt, but hopefully the presence of an emissary from Zhiyun would make Mengqi think twice before dishonoring the land.*
