Socialism seems pretty smart.
All the important shit is controlled by the government. So you know you can't go wrong. =P

It's hard to attach universal tags to non-universal pinciples (that is to say, morals are not static. Sometimes, tolerate, other times it would be stupid to do so, sometimes kill, sometimes reproach killers, et cetera). I'm a nationalist, a radical environmentalist, I believe strongly in rural communities, and could be considered conservative (but not Christian conservatve). I voted for nationalism, though, since it looked lonely.

I think a republic socialist society could work for a while... Until the corruption sets in... Like always.

Completely and utterly missed the perfect way to put my outlook.. Mortiss half-assed reminded me
Primal Anarchist for the win. Philosophy turned Political Outlook. John Locke had the right idea. ...In My Opinion...

I think a republic socialist society could work for a while... Until the corruption sets in... Like always. The one thing with a government run on republicanism is that, well, say you're a scientist, and you KNOW the crowd is wrong in believing global warming was sent by God and we shouldn't try and slow it down, but the crowd outvotes you...you see where I am going, and the general concept. John Stuart Mill wrote about the majority's oft-occuring oppression of individuals in this way. Of course, I'll go ahead and ruffle feathers by saying that the ONLY way to have a long-term successful political system is to have a unified cultural consensus.

Makhnovist Anarchist. In all seriousness, liberal. Screw conservatives. I'm aware that "liberal" means different things in different places. For instance, in Australia, liberal is basically what conservative is to America, which basically means being a liberal implies you are an asshat. To help clear things up about my politics, I'm voting for Barack Obama. I am THAT kind of liberal. And yes, I don't think that voting matters at all, but I'm going to do it anyways because Obama is a true hero of the three kingdoms this country. ca.youtube.com/watch?v=65I0HNvTDH4&feature=related

Communist Anarchist.
People living and contributing for the good of the community out of the goodness of their hearts.
The one (of many) political system that probably won't ever take place on a wide scale.

Well not really. But there was a dude named Nestor Makno in the Ukraine who tried to set up a sort of communist/anarchist type society. This was during the Russian civil war where the reds (commies) fought the whites (non-commies). Makno held off the whites for a time, but he was considered a threat by the reds and Trodsky steamrolled him.

I hold a variety on Conservative veiws on various issues (abortion, same-sex marrige, etc.) but at the same time I tend to lean towwards the Liberal side of things on other issues. One thing I love about politics, is the cut-throat, scheming game that many willingly throw themselves into playing

What's there to love about that? Hooray the people in charge of the government are a bunch of corrupt, scheming, selfish assholes!
