As the fire grew Zhang Jiao gazed over what was happening, men were hurling themselves into the water trying to put out the fire that had caught them; others faithfully fighting the enemy while trying to maneuver onto Gongsun Zan's ship. Creaks were becoming more often, ever since Zhang He's plan went wrong; the collision hit his boat more than the enemy... It was futile to stay on the boat.
It was as if Zhang Jiao was frozen, his eyes taking in the dead bodies, men running around on fire hoping for some light. Was it the Heaven's testing Zhang Jiao or his entire unit? Slowly looking to Gong Ce he nodded pointing to Zan's boat, with a shocked visage Ce understood even without words. "No master.. You can not do that." Jiao was not listening, he had already moved to Liao Xiuxu and ignored the fact her gender was revealed; she was on his boat and her life was important. "Young lady, get yourself onto Gongsun Zan's ship; make sure our troops get on the boat, safely" Whispering a few prayers for Liao Xiuxu and Gong Ce the Great Teacher knew he could not waste anymore time, he had to get to a high point so his voice could be heard. The mast, the fallen enemy mast; it would give Zhang Jiao leverage. "Children! Move to Lord Gongsun's boat, save your life!" Thie white cloud suddenly turned, instead of heading forwards the men advanced towards the side where Gongsun Zan's boat met with Jiao's; all were making their way onto his boat, a little angry at such a plan by Zhang He.
Gong Ce, Liao Xiuxu both were not seen on the boat anymore; Zhang Jiao was the only general on the now ablaze ship, refusing to leave until all of his men had left the boat... those who still had their lives. This was the adoration troops hardly saw from their superiors, most wanting to save themselves rather than others. With quick footing Zhang Jiao helped some injured to their feet and hand them to the able bodied, trying to avoid being set on fire himself. Retribution would be made if Jiao's life was saved, when Dong Zhuo is forced to his knees then he'd see what his treachery has caused. A final creak, most of the survivors had reached Zan's boat, it was now his chance to escape. Moving towards the planks of wood the men placed to escape Jiao noticed water coming from the back; the boat was sinking! With quick steps the Sage master began to climb over onto Gongsun Zan's boat; fortunately for Jiao when his foot touched the deck his boat suddenly capsized, the mast finally broke through the bottom allowing it to be swallowed by the water. Now they had to sail away from this, so not to be dragged down themselves. Searching for Gongsun Zan the great teacher would have much thanks to him, for not only saving the men, Liao Xiuxu and Gong Ce but also himself...
- Zhang Jiao, Gong Ce, Liao Xiuxu and the surviving men board Gongsun Zan's ship!
Zhang Jiao's troops: (before destruction of Zhang Jiao's boat). 100 Veterans Swords & Shields 200 Militia Archers 475 Militia Twin Swords 420 Militia Hammers 250 Militia Halberds 250 Militia Lancers

Zhou Tai could breath fairly easy now. He and most of his men had survived, and, thanks to his men's own bravery, had allowed the majority of them to survive. thank the Gods, Zhou Tai thought. We live to fight another day, and I can fulfill my promise to my men. "NOW MEN! TO THE ENEMY SHORE! LU BU WILL RUE THE DAY HE DECIDED TO TEST ME!" he roared into the air as he pointed a bloody katana towards the enemy shore. Zei Fang led the battle cry with an unnaturally loud "HUZZAH! HUZZAH!" that would be heard by all the allies, and maybe even those on the shore. Hopefully, they would all join in and try and raise the morale a bit.
*Shitty post, I know, but I don't have time thisa morning. I woke up crazy late.*

The allied troops moral was gradually decreasing, allied ships where in flames and many troops dead, which started off as just a simple night raid by some under class officer started of as a big battle which could determine either armies future today. Some generals of the allied force were moving towards the enemy shoreline but demoralize as the troops where tired and handt had muxh rest due to the countless fighting and running around putting out flames. What could be seen on the beach was many troops waiting for the allied forces bunching together to try and stop their progression.
As the enemy troops began to board the ship for their own, they poured in like a virus, though there weren't numbered in many hundreads, it seemed as though they was due to the circumstances that Meng was in, though it wasn't serious as it seemed The archers that was signaled to at fire at the enemy troops that boarded the ship, did so as a line of arrows came firing at the enemy, it was quite a funny site to see as many began to drop like flies, as 1 by 1 die at the piercing arrows. Bodies began to drop, ither hitting the floor of the boats or falling off in the water, it was looking like the ocean was just totally covered with men from the amount that died from each force. The opening volly was good but that just made. The charge a bit slower. Once the enemy troops came in the where the engage by Meng's Ruffian swordsmen, 50 sowrdsmen came strong somewhat halting the assualt.
The archers stop firing not to damage any of their own troops, Meng himself was near the back of his swordsmen, and as some enemy troops broke free from the giant skirmish Meng would be sure to meet them. As it rage on Meng saw a few troops just by pass his troops and head towards the ned of the boat for the man name An Bo which he let on his ship, Having being bussy at the moment Meng couldn't just stop hacking and slashing to save his friend, but his friend looked like a fine soldier to say the least hopfully, he could get focused and direct him mind to the fight.
Having being hit by Wei Yan's ship it didn't do much damage but broken pieces of wood, seeing how Wei Yan troops didn't come over on Meng's ship but cast off and try and break through the shipss of the enemy ranks and where very succsesfull at doing that, I think there where probably just trying to make a path and get more glory, for fight major generals instead of little poens, as Meng could see more of his allies ships rushes towards the shore aswell, fighting these little peons where very boring but Meng had no choice at the moment.Continuesly fighting Meng went to the captins cabin quickly and ordered him to hurry and make moves the the shorline with the rest of his allies,
Coming from the captins cabin and back to fight he watches as his Ruffian swordsmen fight very hard but wasn't enough, to do, the spearmen Meng had in reserve where waiting for better use for a better fight but this called for it.
"SPEARMEN NOW!"
Then 25 Veteran Spearmen then came rushing from the bottom from Meng's ordered and came in the skirmish with the enemy peons as the ship moved forward towards the shore hoping to joing up with there allies, with the enemy boats towards more of the right side of Meng's ship and he could manuver right out of there.
Meng troops fighting: 50 Ruffian Swordsmen 50 Ruffian Bowmen 25 Veteran Spearmen
In Deck 40 Veteran Swordsmen 20 Veteran Archers

He Jin was just about to let go, as his grasp upon the ship’s side was loosening, when wooden planks and a screaming general appeared. The planks, set between the two boats, were from Lu Zhi who had quickly moved to aid the Grand Commander. The general who was yelling out, to He Jin’s troops, was none other than Zhang Fei who was pulling men from the deadly waters. Both would be labeled heroes when all was said and done, but they were not the only ones. It seemed Xifeng was also moving around the surface of the river looking for anyone still alive. Unfortunately, for the enemy, the quick stab of a spear ended their suffering. Although their deeds with aiding the wounded and saving the almost dead would be remembered, they now needed to prove their worth on the field of battle. Lu Zhi, of the three mentioned did have a successful ambush to his credit thus far. He Jin got to his feet and moved across the planks to Zhi’s boat. There, he thanked him dearly. “Lu Zhi, were it not for you I would be no more. You have proven yourself more than capable in times of war. I hope that you will accompany me to the enemy shores where we can begin the path to total victory!”Zhang Fe was picking up Jin’s veterans from the water and for that he received a nod from the Commander. His antics earlier in the day would be forgotten with such consideration and intelligence. Had the general not returned to help, more and more veteran soldiers would die. If there was a precious commodity for the allies, it was soldiers. He Jin looked around and could see the allies recovering from the powerful enemy attack. However, he could also see into the distance and almost soiled his pants. Or, did he? There was a smell coming from around that area. It was probably the horses though. He Jin has been rescued by Lu Zhi and his soldiers by Zhang Fei! Surely, those two have saved the battle and secured its victory! The war, however, was far from over.

The battle was growing more fierce as the boat An Bo sat on collided with another. An Bo did not look up as Meng rallied his men. He did not bother to react to the spear men rushing past him to meet the enemy.
What An Bo did notice however was the man bringing his sword to bear on him. Under his cloth face scarf he gritted his teeth as rage filled him. He reached over swiftly for a broken oar that was laying on the deck of the boat. The oar was broken at the handle end, leaving the flat part intact. An Bo rose from his kneeling position in a fluid motion and swung the oar in a horizontal motion, catching the man in the side of the face. There was a loud smacking sound as the man swayed to one side from the weight of the blow, his helmet went flying.
On his feet An Bo moved one step forward to the solider, and brought the oar back in a back hand blow hitting him in the face again. This time there was enough force in the blow to result in slight snap sound as his neck broke. An Bo stood there for a moment and realize there were three more soldiers coming at him.
"So you have chosen death. So be it" An Bo said flatly as he tossed the oar into the air slightly and caught it, holding it upside down as though it were a blade.
He stepped in a quick attack motion, seemly floating through the air to meet the three. He thrust out the oar before him at the center solider the tip of the oar catching him across the throat, though barely. There was chip in the corner of the flat part of the oar that gave it just enough friction to cut the soldiers throat. In the same body movement An Bo side stepped to his left and back handed the solider next to him in the head sending him off balance. By this time the third and last solider managed to get in a clumsy down ward cut of his own. An Bo turned to meet him, swatting his blade away with the oar. He brought his hand back and jammed the broken handle into his eye. Blood squirted from the wound and he cried out in pain.
An Bo stepped back and looked at the last remaining solider. The solider seemed confused and hesitated for a moment. This seemed to insult An Bo. Finally the solider attacked him, cutting at him with his sword. An Bo moved to the side avoiding the cut. Again the solider attacked, bringing his blade back handed as he extended himself. An Bo stepped again, seeming to barely move as he avoided the attack. An Bo moved his free right hand and grabbed the man at the throat. He then moved forward past the solider, and in so doing there was a sound of water hitting the deck. The solider fell on his face from his own momentum and blood spread from his face as it lay on the deck.
An Bo walked forward slowly across the deck and battle, his right hand at his side dripping blood. He casually dropped the mass of throat flesh, letting it hit the deck with a squishy sound. He looked at the enemy boat ahead, and thought for a second.
"I wonder....." An Bo said, almost to himself.
He watched as the boat he was on was pushing past the enemy boat, and from it soldiers came. An Bo's thoughts were disrupted as a shower of arrows from the enemy boat hit the one he was on. He slowly turned in that direction, and let out a vicious hissing sound. He dropped the oar and pulled at the handle of his katana , so it showed from his robes. He then ran across the deck, stepped on the deck rail and lept across to the other boat. He drew his sword mid air and as he landed it flashed out in a horizontal arc, nearly cutting off a archers head. An Bo weaved through the ranks, cutting and slashing. His motion was crisp, fluid and yet somehow vicious. He impaled one solider with his blade and lifted the young archer in the air and tossed him over board, sending the body flying from the stained blade. With in moments he had slain half a dozen of them before moving further into their ranks. He had every intention of fighting his way to the navigation center of the ship. Ahead he saw some of Meng's men that were trying to push onto the ship, fighting heavily with the enemy.
((An Bo has engaged the enemy on their ship, and intends to cause as much death as he can as he fights his way to the steering wheel or what ever they used back then to steer.))

Great post, i will edit in some rewards. If you can get ahold of the wheel and command the ship there could be more. Other than that, if you stay here to long though you will miss out on Part 3.

An Bo moved across the deck of the ship like the horsemen of death, leaving nothing but bodies in his wake. These men, these soldiers had no chance against a true master. But even one skilled as An Bo knew that even ants are deadly to predators in large numbers. With that in mind his trail of blood and steel led him to Lu Meng's hand full of men that were half way across the boarding platform.
An Bo stopped for a moment and watched them fight, the five soldiers of Meng. They were not overly skilled he thought, with their swords and shields hacking and smashing almost wildly. But they had something just as good for his needs at the moment: bravery and energy. Or foolishness. Either way.
An Bo came up behind the small skirmish and began to dispatch the enemy they fought. His slashes were quick and brutal, as he took them by surprise and from behind. With their attention split An Bo and Meng's men quickly over came them. When the last enemy had fallen An Bo and Meng's soldiers looked at each other.
"Who....who are you?" One solider called, his voice steely. "That is the warrior the General brought on board!" Another declared. "So he finally decided to join in, eh?" One called, almost in a mocking tone.
The other two were silent and on the ready. An Bo eyed the one with the smart comment, noting his appearance. Then he spoke in a tone befitting a master:
"If you wish victory, follow my blade."
And with that An Bo turned and moved across the deck and engaged more soldiers. The five Meng sword men followed him, adding to the slaughter. Rather they followed out of respect of his skill, or fear of his blade, or because they were just good soldiers Bo would never know. All the mattered was the now.
An Bo and the five Meng soldiers fought their way through the chaotic deck, toward the steering wheel and command center. An Bo moved at the front of the men with two on his flanks and one on the rear. Bo mostly used them to keep too many enemies from swarming him. They did their job well, and caught on quick as to An Bo's aim. Again and again Bo's blade found the flesh of the attackers, and he attacked with apparent lack of effort.
"They are headed for the wheel!!! Archers, down them!" A loud voice called.
And with the call arrows rained down on the small group, but Meng's men reacted to the call quickly enough to collapse in and cover each other as best they could. Two arrows hit the solider on the rear and he fell. The group charged forth, the raised deck and the rutter wheel in sight. There was a solider of higher rank standing there barking orders and as he looked at the approaching enemy he shouted:
"Allied dogs! You think you can take MY ship??!!!" Slay these fools!
The insult seemed to strike a nerve with Meng's men and they charged forward, all four forming a line as they crashed into the dozen or so men that came to meet them. The fighting was savage and intense. Meng's troops fought the fight of death for they surely must have known that they were as good dead. This brought a flicker of respect from An Bo, but for someone like him a flicker is not much at all.
As the two groups of men clashed An Bo ran to the edge of the ship and put one hand on the rail and hopped over the side. This close to the rear of the enemy ship, their was a few feet of space between the two as the enemy's front bored into Meng's ship while at the same time Meng's ship tried to turn away. As he did so the ship commander saw Bo's disappearing form and yelled:
"Ha! You see?! The dogs tuck tail and run!!"
This statement caused Meng's men to falter for a moment, and in this moment all four of them were wounded slightly by the frenzy of stabs and cuts from the now nine men left defending the wheel. They saw as from behind more enemies came to help, and more still from below decks. They were doomed and the one that had led them to their fate had abandoned them.
"We are betrayed, but not broken! For our lord!!!" The one Meng solider called, rallying his allies. This the one that had mocked An Bo moments earlier.
And the four bleeding men fought on, resigned to their fate and full of fever. From Meng's ships the scene was noticed and their call heard and their brothers yelled encouragement to them.
Mean while as all this happened in a moment, An Bo had held on the rail with one hand and was hanging by it. He then jammed the blade of his katana into the side of the ship, piercing the seem of the interlocking boards. He put his feet on the blade and balanced himself carefully. Keeping low he jumped forward toward the rear of the ship and caught the rail. He then worked his way further down and pulled himself up. The result was he found himself behind the fighting men and now looked at the commanding officer as he boasted.
An Bo made no waste of time and he moved with as much speed and grace as he could muster to close the distance between himself and the commander. As he reached him the commander turned and started to cry out. His voice fell flat as from his robes An Bo pulled his secondary sword from his waist. The flat, decorated blade made a whirling sound as it sliced through the air, and connected with the commanders neck. An Bo's motion was swift and he held his sword in the air to his side, at the end of the motion for a second, as the commanders head fell clean off. An Bo then kicked at the falling body so it fell away from him.
By this time Meng's remaining four men were reduced to one, the loud mouth one from before. His brothers were slain, their bodies almost hacked to pieces by the two sided onslaught. He himself was bleeding heavily and going down under the storm of swords, but he saw what the man he thought betrayed him had done, and he smiled through blood soaked teeth and cried out:
"AN BO HAS DEAFEATED AN OFFICER!!!!!!!"
His dying breath spent, he fell under the weight of the soldiers.
Back at the wheel An Bo cursed under his breath as the cry from the fool alerted the others to his presence. He had to move quickly, and sheathed his blade and took to the wheel. He put his strength in it and turned it, seemingly familiar with the mechanics of it. The ship began lurch as its forward momentum caused it to almost rebound from Meng's ship. Where as before it was bearing into Meng's ship trying to push it to the side, the front now moved away from it slightly. An Bo hoped it would be enough of an opening for Meng to break way. Either way he didn't really care as his fare was now paid. Bo looked at the wheel for a sort moment as more enemies moved to his position. He knew he didn't have time to damage the wheel so he improvised. He picked up the fallen body of the commander and raised it over his head, and the sight of this caused the rushing soldiers to stop in their tracks, some confused, some disgusted. An Bo then brought the body down as hard as he could, impaling it on the handle of the steering wheel, and pushed down it so its weight would keep it turned to the desired position. He then turned and ran to the edge of the ship, and jumped off as they came after him. A thrown spear barely missed him as he went over. The angle of his leap gave him just enough reach to grab onto his katana handle and he put his legs on the side of the ship, steading his balance. The enemies had came to the rail side and looked down upon him.
"Archer!! Anyone!! Someone! Shoot this mongrel!!!" One called.
An Bo pulled his sword free and fell into the water as some archers, or perhaps a few of the swords men that had obtained bows from the slain archers, peered over the side and fired into the water. Under the dark, sanguine water An Bo could see the fruitless arrows darting into the water. He swam deeper into the water and into the direction of the shore.
He still had business this night.....
(((An Bo has taken command of 5 of Lu Meng's swordsmen and led them to their heroic demise and fought his way to the enemy steering wheel. He has slain the deck officer and perhaps maybe given Meng's ship the chance to free itself from the grip and move to the shore. An Bo has made it into the water and is moving to join the shore battle.)))
