Okay, the Second Story Battle is somewhat underway.
Just to point out a few things for confusion issues. Make sure to read the Map and Information threads as the battle goes on as the information will change.
For example, after Part 1 the allies will have their own set of troops. Part 1 is more story oriented but still gives the players the chance to get involved.
As usual, there could be a few surprises. Players are not supposed to aid the Golden Horde but i may make a few exceptions if someone PMs Ma Chao their ideas.
Anyway, Glory can post inside their city for now and any arriving allies at Qing Ni Pass.
Glory has chosen a Siege Battle to start as opposed to field battle. Tactics should be sent in soon and then Ma Chao will make a post some time today.

I modified the Map and Information. I will allow allies to use 50 soldiers to bring if they want to arrive in the Part 1 Battle post.

Ok peoples, just so we can make this clear from here on out.
In Main Story Battles, the fight is controlled basically by the staff. Meaning, there is a designated Bad guy, so to speak, that a group of allies fight against.
This formula works as i have done it many of times in the past. However, it fails a lot if players then become part of the Staff controlled side.
That is why many are not allowed to join the Golden Horde or why they were not able to Join Dong Zhuo.
Also, you have the choice to battle during the regular game with the huge armies you have amassed. When there is a Main Battle though, the staff handles Troop Distribution so the battle works properly; gets the proper effects.
Therefore, only what i state is allowed can be brought. I understand there is no info for the Allied Troop numbers but there is no need to be any right now. You guys are jumping the gun, so to speak, and assuming you can bring whatever.
I posted what Glory could have as troops and will do the same thing for the allies. It states in the Map and Info thread, in the battle, that is any allies want to arrive in part 1 it is 50 troops.
In the next part allies will see how many troops they have.
That should cover the basic idea for story battles. There may be exceptions as far as some people having more troops or someone being able to serve the NPC side but they will be few in number.

Ok, let me apologize to the members who have been taking part in the major battle. I know i have been slipping up by forgetting summary posts or putting troop numbers into my posts.
How the hell are you supposed to know what is going on if I do not put that stuff, right? So, my bad and i shall try to get that info in from now on.
Hopefully, i should have a summary and some casualties up today.

First of all, let me say that i have created many Main Battles in the past. From some of Jorge's first sites, which i helped him make, where there were large Yellow Turban battles with lots of members to a nice one last year on Fields of Crimson. However, i have NEVER seen any quite like these on RTK:Battlefields. The Opening Battle with Dong Zhou was insane. If you get the chance to look back at it and really comprehend how many posts and the fun had it is awesome. Not only that, but the new battle itself has risen toward being comparable to the first in ways. The average Battle Thread, which there have been many, equal out to around 7-8 pages of posts. Sure, I think that the creators of said battles deserve some credit but most goes to the members who take part. It is always an agreement between creator and player as it is employer and employee. The point is one can not exist without the other, so respect to both is called for. Thank you for playing and i hope you have enjoyed yourself so far. It has taken a LOT of time away from RL to handle this site, but the last one i made was a year ago and i wanted to do it again. This time though, it seems my resolve is much stronger. Before i let some people and situations get to me where this time i am more willing to shrug and let them roll off. There will be another Main Battle in the future if the members wish it. As usual, after the current Battle the site will go back into Normal mode where Kingdom interations/wars occur. Hopefully the members will still take part in that before the next battle which will not be for awhile. I need a big time rest again. All of this again is just to point out the fact these major battles have been epic. I have certainly not seen anything like it before and maybe the next one will be as good. With all the sites that always pop up, as they always do, i encourage people to go play. Just remember that if people go inactive that is how sites fall. However, i feel as if the member base here is dedicated due to the fun they may have had so far. For new members, do not be shy. Get right into things as this crowd of players is very helpful and you will be surprised the friends you can make. Most of the same community, that has been RPing together for years are here, but it is much better to have new people arrive and start a new one. Dark out........

Listen up, peoples.
It has now become a bit too much for me to handle here at RTK: Battlefields. Well, at least if i want to keep my sanity i need to do something.
Many of the staff members are great RPers and good friends of mine, also quite capable of being staff. Obviously, they were made what they were because i knew they could do it.
However, at this time more help is needed and many of them are just not active enough if at all.
So, i am looking for Staff to add and i will be demoting the others. I am sure they will realize it is for the better of the site and hopefully will take no offense by it.
If you are interested in becoming a Staff member send me a PM. However, please know that you will be expected to do stuff as it will no longer just be a title people have.
A note also, normally i have ideas on certain things or just come up with stuff on the fly. If you see a battle you want to take on, let me know and see if i have any plans for it. If you are going to make some sort of decision on things, run it by me. The point is, you need to work with me directly so be prepared for that.
If i do not choose you, do not be offended and i will also be picking people i know are solid and who have been active. Just because you may be a friend of mine does not mean you will be picked.

Rewards are up for the second main battle. A lot of people i think were not paying attention to the objectives or in some cases there was no time like part 3.
Anyway, if you have any issues just post them in the Rewards thread. Like if you think i overlooked an objective you had completed.

Alright, Shu's army ranks have been officially closed for any further employment until I make another announcement. For sake of fairness I ask that any new or undecided members join one of the other kingdoms with less officers. I know there are a lot of people who like a challenge and fighting for the underdog, so go for it.
If Shu or Liu Bei feels this is unfair then PM me. Still, there is no recruiting for Shu until further notice.

At the top right of the site you will see various links. The one at the bottom will usually pertain to whatever Main Event is going on.
There you will see the Banquet thread for Ye. That way you can find it and if you have nothing planned right now for your character, maybe you should go RP there. As usual, if you are unalligned with a force they serve as good places to meet Rulers or Officers.
