Xiang was almost away from the Audience Hall altogether when she stopped dead as a whisper was spoken into her ears. That voice seemed so similar, so familiar that she had to stop and take it in. Her head jolted behind her, seeing the figure walking down the wall, that was soon obscured as Cao Cao grabbed her and brought her back into the room they were just in.
She was obviously not concentrating as she was sat down and spoken to, usually his words of poison would have brought a smile to her mouth, or at least some kind of reaction but she kept looking towards the door. She knew the voice well, pleasing as it was to know Ce was alive, she felt a deep sadness from his words, they were like a dagger through her heart.
She brought herself back to reality as she looked towards Sun Yuan Ci, listening to him and watching as he brought the scroll up with the use of a palace servant. She couldn't quite see what was in, but it seemed he had gained control of his own force. She looked interested as she should, putting her hurt to one side as a sudden realisation hit her... if Sun Ce was mad at her, that meant her father would be as well, which meant Cao Cao had been lying to her... she would have to play this well to get her revenge.
She felt the lord of Wei stroking her arm gently, and she turned her head to him, giving him a warm smile, as if she was trying to say sorry and thank him at the same time... It had hidden motives however...

The mention of various other infamous names had a reverberating ring within Cao Cao’s ears. With each man spoken from Zhiyun’s lips, memories and thoughts crossed his mind. There was Yuan Shao, a man whom he had worked with many times under the Han’s reign, and a man of equal ambition and shrewdness as he. Mengde then thought of Liu Bei, the surprising slayer of Hua Xiong, and the man whom had almost halted his progression with lady Sun at the feast. Finally, and most striking to Cao Cao, Mengqi was brought to the fray. Wracked with a sudden discomfort, Mengde twisted up in his throne slightly, sitting up, and grasping a little harder onto Xiang’s arm, as if this time looking to her for support. Quickly, to hide his troubles, Cao began to ooze charisma once more from his lips.
“All men have their flaws, lord Zhiyun, I find it good wisdom and character if a man can witness them in others; it takes a true sage to admit their own.” Cao’s words were nothing more than filler, perhaps the first superfluous comments he through out into this conversation. His discomfort was soon shadowed however by Zhiyun’s follow up speech, and his presenting of a very elegant piece of silk. His eyebrow began to quirk, and his natural intrigue settled him back into his familiar comfort zone. Gently he began to stroke the back of lady Sun’s palm, unaware of her potential secret intentions, and instead focussed keenly on the item before him. Taking it within his free hand, Mengde rubbed his fingers over the soft material, smirking silently as he let Yuan Ci’s words settle in. Was this a fine ally for Mengde, or just another enemy to later remove?
“I have always fought for a greater China, a China which our people can prosper in, a China that can be revered across all the borders and shores to our many neighbours. The pretentious could never draw enough time from pruning themselves in order to create such a country. You and I are indeed a dying breed, lord Zhiyun, and I would be honoured to claim you as an ally during these harsh times. Too long have my people feared the thoughts of powerful warriors entering our gates with malice on their minds.” Cao was still uncertain of his words, he seemed somewhat shaken by recent events. Undoubtedly, he wished for Sun Yuan Ci as an ally, certainly for the time being, perhaps to whittle away the growing number of regional warlords that each pose a threat. Yet, Mengde could not even attempt to now continue to compete in a banter of words with the man in front of him. Was it the mention of Ma Chao? Lady Sun’s outburst, or even her devious smile? No-one would know except Mengde himself, who cast his gaze back down at the silver silk in his palm, before turning his look towards lady Sun, and finally, back to Zhiyun.

*Gone were the days of tyranny. Here, in this chamber of Xu Chang's palace, at the throne of Wei, tyranny's end was called for. The deceitful rulers now would have to face exactly what Sun Yuan Ci had hoped for. He was a charismatic man, people were drawn to him, and on the battlefield he was unmatched, but he needed more then that to realize his vision. He needed a master o tactics and military advances, a man like him who would fight for peace. A man who could best an enemy by battle or words. Here was this man, Cao Cao, and here they united their forces to a common cause, and here... the end of tyranny began. By the words of Cao Cao's response, peace... eventually... was guaranteed*
*Perhaps Zhiyun was using Cao Cao, but it could also be said that Cao Cao was using Sun Yuan Ci. Both were close to reaching a new limit of power, between Cao Cao's military inspiration and Sun Yuan Ci's charismatic inspiration. They each fit eachother's puzzles perfectly, closing the needs of each kingdom, now bonding together to form what was perhaps an unlikely, but ultimately destined and powerful alliance. With this alliance, Zhiyun also had a protectorate at his southern front. He would need to rally all of Xi Bei to his cause, including the famous cavalier Gongsun Zan, and his White Cavalry. For now, though, he would dismiss any thought of battle. If all went to plan, he could gather all of Xi Bei under his watch without spilling a drop of blood.*
"Your words are kind to me, my lord. An alliance between Wei and T'se shall greatly alter the lands. I see no force that could match us in might or wit or discipline. It would be wise to gather troops quickly, though. I feel a cold wind blowing from the northwest... where a storm cloud rises over Liang. To our west rests Wei Yan, a man whom I have befriended and a man who has sworn loyalty to myself and what I fight for. It would be a good decision to send word to him of our alliance, and inquire him to join as well. If he can claim Liang, you with the Central Plains, and myself with Xi Bei, then we'd have naught but the lands of Yi and Jiang Dong to pacify. But I fear Ma Chao... who claims himself to be splendid, who claims himself a king despite his only true worth resting in his surname. He is man we must fear.
"Until the next time we meet, my lord, I must depart. My cousin, Sun Liao, stays at Ye to protect it. It is young now, growing, and I must overlook it's growth carefully."
*Sun Yuan Ci bowed his head, finalizing his meeting with Cao Cao and his alliance with Wei. He mounted his horse after retrieving him from a stable hand, and returned the way he came, heading north to return to Ye.*

This day was not just momentous in its transitions, the great shift of the history of China, but now, with the fine, eloquent, and thoughtfully placed words of Sun Zhiyun, China’s very future had a hopeful outlook. With an alliance proposed between perhaps the two most ambitious men on these lands, the status quo would shift immensely, like a tall stone pillar under the might of a terrifying earthquake. At the core of these powerful tremors were two men who were both pinnacles of their fields, and still not lacking in one another’s art. Indeed, both would be able to go about this task one, but for now, their unity acted as a catalyst for the shift in the world that was just deemed necessary.
Mengde again flinched, if only briefly, at the mention of the dominating Ma Chao, who’s aggression and belligerence would undoubtedly strike the very heart of this country very soon. Cao on the other hand had other concerns on his mind regarding the man. Nevertheless, a shrewd smirk was still painted clearly upon the Wei lords visage, as he consumed every valiant word of the reverent Zhiyun. Nodding briefly, he then stood up, cupped a fist into his palm, and bowed before his new ally.
“Next time I shall travel to Ye, lord Zhiyun, I thank you for your presence, your wisdom, and your allegiance. I fear clouds do grow over the mountains of Xi Liang; we should both be prepared for the potential flood.” A slight frown formed in Cao’s brow, anticipating a war with Ma Chao; he knew of the man’s numbers and of his capabilities - a conflict would require even more than the combined forces of Mengde and Zhiyun. Briefly the lord turned back to lady Xiang, and then quickly added a few more, apologetic, yet angered words.
“Again I apologise for the.. Incident. Take care on your travel home, lord Zhiyun..” Cao’s words trailed off as he turned back to his throne, facing Sun Shang Xiang. As soon as Sun Yuan Ci had left, Cao leant forward to the young woman, and whispered to her in a slightly gravely tone of voice.
“Get yourself to my private chambers, woman.. I shall speak further with you there.” He held out a hand to help her up from her seat, though this was more for show to the servants in the room, than as a matter of courtesy or affection. As soon as she would step up, he began pacing towards his private study, his velvety blue cape swinging from his quickened steps.

*Xu Chang, was this where the nightmare was born? Many ages had passed since that fateful day. The flames, the heat, the sorrow, now nothing more than a myth, a fairy tale told to children. Did it happen? Was it real? only two men know the truth of what happened that summers evening in the battered slums of Xu Chang. This was a different time, a new era had sparked a new story, one that would end in a darkness engulfing all the land. War had come, the gods had willed it so. Friends would become enemies and enemies would become friends, so it had been foreseen. With war comes heroes, heroes of light and heroes of dark, a new mythology would be weaved with the entrails of the dead. Only the strong would save themselves from the inferno that is war, the weak must suffer their share of ills, it had to be this way, only from destruction could a new future be forged*
*Like a moth to the flame he came, from where nobody knew or dared to know. A primeval fear ran through the spines of the people, a torment long since ceased had arisen once more from the depths of his own personal torture, the creature, Mortiss. It was an unusually dark day, storm clouds had been threatening and the reassuring gift of light had been unable to penetrate the almost magical darkness which seemed to focus on Xu Chang. Thunder and lightning broke out in a fury of illuminating blasts like gunpowder had been set off in the streets. Many ran indoors to escape the ferocity leaving the streets empty, desolate, depressing. A shadow emerged from the commotion, nimble and speedy of foot weaving between the shacks and walls. A demon with the speed and agility of a wild stallion and the aggression and ferocity of a rabid dog snarling and foaming at the mouth.*
*The great hall was still, peaceful, the torches blazing to create a warm friendly glow. The rich tapestries and tidy soldiers dressed as Cao's personal toys gave the hall a distinct and arrogant feel, just as the great Cao had hoped it would. The colossal stone gate was opened with intensity echoing throughout the fortress. A figure stood silently arms outstretched, a faceless monster, hidden by a shadow with the stench of rotting carcass protruding from within. The Guards seemed mortified, what was this thing that had invaded the peace of Xu Chang? They gripped their spears hesitating and moving ever so slowly toward the invader. Suddenly they stopped, they began to back off upon seeing the face of this monster, fear gripped them, morale lost, frozen. Fear personified entered the light ignoring the pitiful Guards with a venomous smile painted on his deformed face.*

(This is happening in a different time frame to the private room, a little bit in the future)
Thunderclouds roared over Xu Chang, and rain hailed down upon the citizens homes like an endless flood, rattling fiercely upon the thousands of rooftops that kept the people safe. Many men and women had locked themselves away, and even more had flood guards prepared in the chaos. The ones forced to work, the guards, the loyal soldiers of Wei, would do their jobs while trembling with fear, tremors of anticipation shaking through their very bones. A wicked darkness had engulfed the city, embracing it like a coiled serpent, ready to give it a painful death, or release it in utmost mercy.
Within the grand palace, Cao Mengde was now sat at his throne, consulting with his inglorious band of meek sycophants. Stroking his beard lightly, his attention soon turned to the weather, as the echoes of rain and thunder managed to seep through the thick protective walls of the palace. A slightly mystified frown formed on Cao’s brow, as his scanned around the room, pondering on the loudness of the chaotic weather. Finally, the doors of the palace swung open, and in with it flooded a force greater than the crashing tides. The man’s vile odour and terrifying demeanour instantly struck the Wei lord, who lightly scrunched his face up in disgust, while the multitude of sycophants gasped of fear, and scattered to the side of aisles, leaving the path from the throne to the door open. The guards gripped a hold of their halberds tighter, looking from their target, and back to their lord in various takes, awaiting his command. An intrigued Mengde could only smirk, sit up higher in his throne, and beckon the guards stand down with a light flick of his hand.
The flames within the palace began to flicker and dance wildly, it were as if these two men, no, the man and the creature, were at a standoff, as if thousands of years of history had preceded them, yet in reality only seconds had passed. With one large thunderbolt rattling outside the walls of the palace, Cao Cao then began to talk, his tone firm, pressing, but above all, curious.
“And who are you to enter my palace so freely, creature?” Mengde’s comment was loaded with extra meaning - he pondered what status the man had, who the man was, and whether he was a man at all. All he could see was a vile mass stood before him, that carried with it an aura of fear only seen amongst the likes of men facing their execution. He may have been some insane commoner, caught in the dirt and the rain, who kept himself amongst slaughtered animals. Somehow Cao saw otherwise, and would sate all of his own personal intrigue with continual questions.

"Creature?"
*The demonic creation of a darker violation seemed amused by the would be lord of the land's question. Indeed the horror upon men seemed amused by all around him, the guards attempting to look fierce but behind their exterior lurking a primeval fear. The advisor's and officials staring blankly and the abnormal silence as if some apparition had stolen speech. The newcomer shuffled awkwardly through the gap left by the toy box soldiers, his eyes ever vigilant pierced the skins of all who lingered upon them too long. They were lifeless, emotionless and unforgiving black holes of emptiness as if they had seen a terror so tormenting they had chosen death rather than gaze upon the world. Ragged and beaten the figure appeared fresh from battle with the bloody scars to prove it.*
"We are all creatures hierarch"
*His voice was sharp like the wail and screech of a man dying from a malignant plague tearing out his innards. Cao could now take a good look at what was standing before him, a man, just a man an extraordinary man. His small stature was deceptive for his body was ripped to perfection, every muscle was toned, not an inch of human skin had been wasted in moulding this man. His charisma was like nothing Cao had witnessed before, not alluring but repulsive taking a great deal of determination to fix a glance. His stench was powerful making the eyes of water of those unfortunate enough to be near. He was just a man but a man like no other.*
"Is it wrong to embrace our senses? Man has become soft and safe living in decadent prisons of wealth and greed. What you must decide is would you rather I be an ally or an enemy? Perhaps a demonstration of what talents I can provide you are in order?"

Many of the guards stood on their toes around this deadly, stinking, vile creature, staring at him with the tips of their spears, rather than facing the disgusting sight with their eyes. Truly fear had gripped them, they could not stand still without being swayed over by the man’s sinister words and taunting remarks. Booming out from him came a challenge, and like the shockwaves of an earthquake, all men within the room instantly took a step backwards, as if to ensure their balance. None would seemingly accept it, and all would turn to Cao Cao, now fearing their lords decision in regards to such a request.
Mengde himself could only smirk, rubbing his fingers slowly through his bristly, yet perfectly trimmed beard. His eyes narrowed upon the man that stood before him; he was incredibly small, but toned to absolute perfection. Never had he seen such a perfect looking soldier, such discipline and keenness for self-improvement. Wei’s lord briefly chuckled, and lightly rapped his fingertips on the arm of his chair as he searched for an answer. About to speak, Mengde was interrupted by a bold, yet incredibly foolish servant.
“Why is this freak here!? He stinks to the high heavens! He should be outside rolling around with the pigs!” The official spat out in disgust, creeping out from behind lord Cao’s throne. He seemed somewhat unfazed by whatever aura the man brought with him, thinking it was little more than poor hygiene, and incredible poverty. Mengde smirked at the outburst, eyeing the physique of the sycophant who stepped out, then recasting his gaze back to the creature in front of him.
“Fight him.” His tone was straight, succinct, and somewhat indifferent to either mans fate. All Cao cared for was having the best under his service; this was a far more direct approach to natural selection. Instantly a guard threw a short spear towards the servant, while another tossed him a shield. Stumbling while attempting to catch them, the servant cowered on the floor, now whimpering at this order to fight. His whimpers and cries echoed in the palace, hushed only by the rattling rain and roaring thunder outside. After finally assembling this makeshift weapon set, the official slowly paced towards the creature, spear set and ready, yet his visage wide, open, and fearful. Mengde would watch keenly, as the emperor in a grand coliseum, letting the tigers fight the prisoners.

*The monster eyed this weasel up and down as he ungainly stumbled around shaking gathering his equipment. His face was pale, his bottom lip quivering as he set himself into a textbook defensive stance. It was clear the only experience this pampered accountant had of battle was from books. The beast closed his eyes grinning like a deranged lunatic, with a flash his eyes opened illuminating a blinding white. His shoulders began to shake his long skeletal fingers twitching with anticipation and excitement. This was what he lived for, the taste of blood, the pathetic squeals of the dying, the pain he was so expertly good at inflicting upon mankind. This pompous, smug little man would be just one more victim of an unquenchable thirst for death.*
*Insanity began to move closer to the flatterer who could not hold his spear straight he was shaking so vigorously, it truly was a pathetic sight to behold. The guards and officials could not bare to watch but could not avert their eyes fixated on the creature who was loving every second of the fear gripping his unworthy opponent. The freak was unarmed, he had no protection, his blackened flesh was nothing more than a target. The official took his chance, one clean thrust and the maniac would surely fall, or so he thought. Screaming the aging bureaucrat with all the might he could muster propelled his spear forward at the chest of the lunatic.*
*His spear halted seconds before it could meet the intended target. The magistrate pushed the shaft giving it everything he had but could not move the weapon an inch. The berserk with one arm had stopped it dead gripping the opposite end of the shaft, with one slight pull the official was wrenched off balance falling to his knees from the power and in the act was disarmed. Staring up he saw death in its purest form, his worst nightmare tossed his meagre spear to the trooper who had given him the gift. Screaming like a little girl he prostrated himself at the knees of his lord begging for mercy dropping his shield, it was to no avail. A deafening roar reverberated throughout the hall and in an instant the maniac had pounced onto the poor wretch who was now helpless.*
*It was as if a rabid wolf half starved had finally found a victim to indulge his appetite after weeks of endless searching. With claws like a jaguar ripping the flesh off a boar the fiend slashed at the advisors face like razor blades gashing skin and bone, it was all the prey of this monster could do to scream out in sheer pain and terror, this was just the beginning of the torment Mortiss would inflict. With his rotten yellow fangs, saliva dripping from his mouth he licked his lips and bit on the long supple nose of the lowlife. Blood spurted from the wound but the grip would not be released with one strong jerk the bureaucrat nose was ripped from its socket and spat out onto the floor by the lord of Wei’s feet. Mortiss watched for a moment indulging himself with the blood of his victim and listening intently to the screams of anguish he had inflicted. Finally he drew his blade from within its sheath and thrust the filthy disease ridden steel into his gut cutting his body in half. Now he sheathed his blade and with his hands tore open the officials stomach and systematically began shredding his intestines and innards tossing them aside until the cries ceased and the advisor had finally been released from a pain so great and terrifying that the lesser men present could not deal with it and vomited and fainted. The eyes of the beast once so white and freighting had reverted to the lifeless voids they once were and now standing erect before Cao Cao with blood covering his body and dripping from his mouth he began to laugh manically.*
“Well Hierarch?”

The official had approached the beast with valiant efforts, attempting to impress his lord through whatever available methods. Many of the guards around the room, along with the servants and the concubines, stood back when the battle had begun, yet their eyes would remain wide open, not wanting to miss a single second of the ensuing action. Their curiosity however would be punished with a searing image scarred into their brains for an eternity. Mengde himself was also deeply shocked and stunned by the events he now witnessed.
Screams, roars, and splatters of blood and guts echoed throughout the throne room, the now hollow cries of the servant being his very last words as a loyal Wei retainer. The elegant velvety banners that draped down from the walls now were stained with a dark crimson, wroughting its beauty into a terrifying beast. Pools of viscous red liquid deeply stained the blue carpet, and ran all too smoothly across the beautiful marble flooring. Pieces of flesh were torn asunder from this mans body, masked in their macabre nature only by his spilt guts and split organs strewn across the floor. The sight was truly one to see, the palace had been shifted from a regal place of domestic issues, to a chaotic war-ridden battlefield, where bodies without graves would be laid to rest for eternity.
Dozens of the guards dropped their weapons and shields, rushing off to the side wings to vomit excessively, whilst the concubines and sycophants began whimpering uncontrollably, cowering with their heads to the floor, the proverbial ostriches with their heads buried in the sand. Cao Cao’s eyes narrowed greatly, almost enough to blank the horrific sight he had witnessed, but while outside he showed a visage of disgust, inside, his mind began to rage wildly with potential. The creature, Mortiss, was undoubtedly a demon, a wild animal that could be the catalyst for chaos on the battlefield. He was dangerous to all humankind, but such was the mind of Cao Mengde, that were he tamed, or even paid enough to fight for one side, then the Wei lords ambitions would be far easier to realise. Another bolt of thunder roared outside the palace, and, rising with a smirk, Cao gave his response.
“You are a devious and cruel creature.. But I can find great use for a man of your talents. I can bring you to hundreds of battlefields, bring you new and old warriors to fight, new glory, and new strength. I offer you all this, and all I ask, is for you to wear the banner of Wei. I would rather have the beast fight with me, than have no beast at all.” His tone was charismatic but direct; the monster most likely had little skill in political bargaining, but he was no fool, and would not be seduced by simple charms and promises of wealth. The creature would want greater pursuits, and this is what Cao Cao would offer. Staring at the blood soaked Mortiss, Mengde’s lip curled into a grin, awaiting an acceptance, or a decline.

*The nightmare was now silent basking in the thrill of pain and death, still twitching and shaking with enthusiasm for the kill. It was clear to all present and especially to the great lord that this was a warrior whose blood lust could never be relinquished. Oblivious to Cao's words as if his mind was in a separate sphere of dimension to the ordinary he began to sway from side to side like a farmer who had drunk more than his fair share of wine after a hard days toil on the fields. The weaker retainers were appaulled that their lord would allow a man such as this to join the Wei ranks, their eyes told as much, too terrified to voice their objections. The stronger chuckled to themselves, they knew as Cao did the benefits of a fearless, unrelenting maniac in battle.*
*Covered in blood and guts he licked his lips cracking his neck and knuckles before taking his leave in an arrogant gesture that presented a lack of respect, though who would be brave enough to complain now? Once more he entered into the shadows appearing once more as a faceless entity like a demon returning to the depths of hades after he had taken his fill of doom and destruction. An answer had not been given though Cao knew just like everybody else an answer was not needed. Mortiss had joined the ranks of Wei and with this one final blast of thunder greater than all previous vibrated the once serene chamber as if to mark a new era for that of Wei and of China.*

(Some weeks after your last event)
After all the rumors that Sun Ce had passed on went through China a man in Silver armor headed towards Xu Chang Palace. There was one survivor of the incident and he was nursed to health by commoners but he was unrecognizable. No one knew if he was alive or not many thought that all perished the people who nursed him to health wondered whether to tell or not but even they didn’t know the name of the man they saved.
This warrior was unknown to all he tighten his gloved that was dressed in silver and walked up the steps into Xu Chang Palace were his sister and Cao Cao were. They also might of heard the rumors that were circulated by townspeople.
His waist band also colored in silver flowing freely as he approached the throne room. Some of the guards looked on interest to whom this man was. He didn’t turn his head or acknowledged them as people to him they were obstacles.
As he was only meters from the throne room he kneeled before Cao Cao not removing his helmet. He saw his sister sitting with him seemingly it looked as they were in love. So the rumors were true. He looked at the floor and said ‘’I go by the name as the Shredder. I do not know my real name. Allow me to join your service.’’
He didn’t want to give away his real name as then the rumors of everyone dying wouldn’t be true. If he asked for any type of name he would give a fake one but they wouldn’t know. Cao Cao would be to busy flirting and doing his sister. Unless maybe she heard the rumors aswell and she was sad aswell.
But for now those were the only words he would say. If he didn’t get accepted he would leave the form something other than joining. But he wanted to earn his way to Cao Cao then he would shock everyone.
He stayed kneeling before the man that very well could be his brother in law unless he was using Shang Xiang as a toy and concubine. He continued ‘’I am a man of few words, But I make it count on the battlefield.’ He then with his helmet still on and his face mask connected looked at the man. There was no way he could be recognized.

The Audience Hall of Xu Chang palace had finally been cleaned up after the incident with the creature Mortiss. The blood stained drapes, and the vile stench of bile took weeks to clean up, but due to the back breaking vigilance of the chamber servants, the palace had never looked more new and pristine. It was truly fit for an emperor once more, the golden linings reflecting light from the sun and dozens of candles joyfully.
Sat at the throne itself was none other than Cao Cao, who today was adorned in his oriental robes, the exquisite garbs he was gifted with during his travels in Japan. They spoke volumes about the man’s wealth, and more importantly, his status and reputation. The swirling floral patterns gracefully washed over the silky material, giving it some kind of magical and mystical property. Against the lords skin it felt like wearing a cloud, light and effortless, allowing full mobility and comfort no matter what Mengde did. He sat rather lazily in his simple throne, and raised a brow as this mysterious, armour clad man arrived in the hall, offering his services.
Raising a brow, Mengde scanned the soul that now bowed before him. He gave no real name, only a devious sounding alias, presenting himself as a taciturn warrior who would have words after actions. This made Cao smirk somewhat, and sit more appropriately in his chair, continuing to ponder who it might be. His chambers were a constant hive of gossip, and word of a new power in the area would surely have struck Wei’s ears by now. Coughing slightly into his palm, and clearing his throat, Cao began to enquire.
“While I am always keen to employ new men of great skill, sir, in these chaotic times I cannot be too careful. “Shredder” is an alias that sounds promising.. But I would much prefer a name. Every man has, and knows, his own name.” Mengde’s tone was slightly sarcastic, and was accompanied by an equally wry tilt of his head, as if attempting to look at the man from a different angle, hoping to gain some new revelation, and satisfaction to his endless curiosity.

Sun Shang Xiang hadn't been feeling well that morning and was absent from the palace as she rested in bed. During the course of the day she begun to feel better, only to suddenly feel ill once more, being sick on one occasion. She was forced to see a doctor by order of Cao Cao as he attended to a visitor in the palace halls.
Time was drawing on as the man finally showed himself to Cao Cao, the Lord of Wei seeming none to impressed with the person's inability to give a true name of his being. Suddenly before a reply from the so called Shredder could be made Xiang walked in, looking quite sad, as if having some bad news about her health.
She neared Cao Cao, knowing he probably felt some kind of worry inside of him, more so as her face didn't change showing a joke. Finally, she was before her lord, mere inches away from his throne and then a grin came to her face as she spoke, unable to contain her excitement and happiness anymore. "We're going to have a baby!"
Surely Sun Ce would be able to hear the news, and it struck the immediate question as to what he would do now. Would he carry on pretending to be this "Shredder" or would he show himself. Then what would he do? Would he force SSX back to Wu? Would he stay and make sure she was safe? Or would he simply walk away disgusted?
"That's the reason I've been under the weather the past few days."

He didn’t have time for questions about what his name was and the news of his sister about to give birth to the tyrant was bad enough he had pledged his allegiance to the man but it seems that he would only ask questions. He stood up looking directly and his sister and his soon to be brother in law.
‘’It seems that you are busy with other matters, I shall bid you good day for know but next time our paths cross you would have wished that you accepted me straight away without the asking of questions.’’
In some ways he was a little enraged with the actions that had just preceded him his sister pregnant this was most disgraceful to the Sun Family to Wu and to their father. Turning his back he would say no more to any of them his waist band following in the air. There was no way that Shang Xiang could recognize him especially after the fire incident not to long ago.
In some ways this would be good for him as he just turned left after the hall still in sight of Cao Cao he punched a hole in the wall next to him and dropped some silver coins to repair it. He had one last look straight at them and left the building and Xu Chang and his sister.
His next destination was certain he would approach the man that had been awaiting on a Sun family members return for awhile. He would toy with him for awhile then remove his helmet but if he ever met his sister or Cao Cao in the near future there next position would be at his feet.
(How did Shang Xiang know it was Ce? He is hidden by armor.)
